Everything and everyone was fantastic. Highly recommend!
The place was quite noisy, dining place was crammed, we could hardly hear the waitress or among ourselves due to the noise, food was average despite the hype we had heard though the service was good
We love Frog Hollow. The food and service are always impeccable. Their macaroni and cheese is THE BEST.
The food and service were outstanding! Make reservations before you go. I heard the couple ahead of us being told there was a 90 minute wait without reservations. One hiccup - we took another couple with us and there was a mix-up with the food. The women's plates arrived, but nothing for the men. After we prayed and waited several minutes, someone came out with mac and cheese for the men. Their meals had been given to customers at another table. As I was taking my last bite, our husbands' meals were delivered. The waitress brought us a dessert tray to try to make up for the misunderstanding. We took it and didn't complain. Dessert was delicious, but none of us desired dessert and were a little miserable after eating it.
With that said ... the customer service was still high up on our list and the food was the best food we've had in Augusta! We will go back!
My husband and myself love this as a special treat for dinner. Have never been disappointed when we've eaten here. Great food, good service and a little pricey but worth it.
One of the most amazing dining experiences I have had in a while. It was well worth the drive from Columbia, SC! Definitely exceeded my expectations.
Best place hands down in Augusta, GA. Others may try to be similar but Frog Hallow is THE BEST. Worth every penny. Great, friendly service as always. Great crowd. Great drinks. AND ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD!
Great place. Service was excellent and so was the food. Would not hesitate to go back.
This was quite a surprise for Augusta. Cocktail was delicious and not lacking alcohol. Everything about the food was fabulous. Staff knows the food and drinks---they can suggest menu items suited to your tastes. When attending an event at the Miller Theater, treat yourself to dinner at Frog Hollow.
Always a great go to spot downtown Augusta
Food and service were amazing!! Can’t wait to go back!
Overall a wonderful experience. Very good service and a wonderful dessert on occasion of birthday celebration.
Man oh man 👍👍👍 Really good southern twist. Polite service. If we lived in Augusta, would eat at Frog’s Hollow every week.
The ribeye was perfectly prepared, the server was very friendly and fun. The noise level was perfect for a quiet conversation and felt cozy. A little spendy but a very good value for the service and the food quantity and quality.
Has become my favorite restaurant in Augusta.
One of our favorite Augusta restaurants for special occasions. Service always great and food is generally very good. Wife ordered tile fish special that was excellent. Pork chop special was prepared well but meat was too fatty, lots of gristle and not evenly cooked. Should have spoken to server but did not want to spoil wife's evening. Crème Brule was also excellent.
Lee was a great waitress! Can’t wait to go back!
My boyfriend and I want to Frog’s Hollow for an early Valentine’s Day dinner. The service was exceptional and the food was even better. Our server was very knowledge and when asked, provided some excellent recommendations. I will definitely be returning!
The food would be great BUT everything is so overly salted and overly buttered it’s ridiculous. Even my date who needs extra salt in her diet and salts many things commented that her meal was way too salty which made me feel more at ease about drinking 4 full glasses of water at dinner due to my sodium loaded dish. This place could absolutely be next level if it weren’t for everything being basted in butter this and served with brown butter that and “simply seasoned” when it really feels like a whole tablespoon of salt has been dumped on your dish. I really do feel as if the quality has deteriorated from a few years ago and they are now playing to a more “southern Paula Deen” palate as the restaurant has become more popular. Sad.
The epitome of farm to table! Perfect for a date night or just a high caliber meal. The menu may look limited at first glance, but everything they offer is truly delicious.
Our server was great; he was super knowledgeable about every dish and very attentive. The hostesses seemed a little standoffish, but at a place this busy, I'm sure it gets stressful. 100% get a reservation!
I would give 10 stars if I could! Excellent food and most excellent wait staff.
Great all around consistency in portions , flavor , short wait time and waitress food knowledge. ! Wish they had more booths for example the second room with only tables !
Delicious food and a fantastic server! Made ladies night even better!
We dined to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Our server was very attentive and even put a candle in my husband’s dessert. Food was delicious as always.
The food is always great and our server, Cory. was outstanding. The only drawback is eating near the kitchen. We've had seats twice there and don't care for the noise. Next time we'll have to remember to make a reservation with a table in another room.
Quail was very disappointing. Fish special not so special. Our 3rd try and we probably won't give it a 4th.
Excellent service. Superb food. Noisy group table.
The food and the service exceeded expectations as always!
After several visits, Frog Hollow remains at the top of the heap, imho, tied with two other spots in Augusta. Always consistent & innovative, with delicious food which is served perfectly, and has superb service from all staff members. Specials continue to be fantastic, and main menu will never disappoint either. A great place for special occasions, or like us, just a great meal. Being there is our special occasion. We had fish items this time, all delicious, but previous experiences with steaks, pork shoulder or chops have also been great. Menu can be tweaked to accommodate those with inability to eat meat, if someone in party can't. Indulge yourself, and dine there often. Thanks to the chef and to the staff for another sweet evening.
Food was great as usual. Service is outstanding. The only problem is the nonstop blue grass music. Our table was in the back dining room where bar noise is relatively less. Music got irritating after a while. I dined at this place many times before. In the main room, you don't hear the music with the noise but this back room was not so good unfortunately.
I was celebrating my 17th year wedding anniversary and the staff made sure to make us feel special, even though it was clearly a busy day. The food was fantastic. My wife and I come to dine occasionally but we will make an effort to come more regularly. we went to your sister property, Craft & Vine, for after dinner cocktails and thoroughly enjoyed it there as well.
