   Only one staff for the whole restaurant working both rooms, the bar, and restaurant. Menu changed and we did not like the new menu as much. We were looking forward to the menu we looked up online. The best dish was the octopus. Exceptional. Best I ever had. Everything else was meh, especially for the price.

   Great food, nice server. We had terrific salads and unforgettable burgers.

   Food was inedible. There was a new head chef. We didn't eat either dinner. We left and went elsewhere to eat.

   Food was fair to mediocre. Portion of scallops was meager. Don’t think we would go back.

   Food is outstanding and service is good. We made a reservation to be seated outside, we were told outside was closed because of potential storm in the area. Disappointed, the inside area is very noisy. But no sooner as we sat down, a party of 6 came in, as seated outside. We asked the hostess why we were denied the seating, her reply was: they called this afternoon requesting outside seating. My reservation was made 2 weeks ago for outside seating. Maybe it expired, just cant wrap my brain around this!

   In the past we have had wonderful experiences at Fries to Caviar. Unfortunately our recent visit was not as pleasant. It was wonderful to see a full dining area and bar when we arrived, but we quickly realized that because so many people were there is was incredibly difficult to hear anyone at the table, unless you sere siting right next to them. Although the restaurant has noise-reducing tiles on the ceiling, they did little to decrease the noise level. The restaurant was grossly understaffed and I think there were only 2 waiters covering the entire dining area. Their menu has not been updated on Open Table, so we were disappointed with the menu selections. The waiter told us that had hired a new chef and I guess they haven't had time to update the on-line menu. I LOVE steak tartar and my husband loves Seafood Paella. Both are listed as options on Open Table but not offered at the restaurant. Rather than steak tartar I choose the Seared Scallops for $32.00. I should have asked the waiter before I ordered them. When my plate arrived, I was served 4 scallops, each was no bigger than a silver dollar, and they were over-done and chewed (the edges were split open from inappropriate cooking). All in all, we don't plan on dining with them again

   The outdoor fan was loud and was blowing right on us. Then, there was this TV screen with a picture on it. When we asked them to put the game on, they said they couldn’t.

   This was our first visit…but definitely not our last!!!! Excellent service bu Oscar. We sat on the patio and that made all the difference. While in the flight path for the Boca Raton airport, it is a serene space. We started with soft shelled crab buns…serving was 2 but that was sufficient. ,,and really good. Entrees were a pasta with roasted pears and truffles and the chicken schnitzel. Both very good. We were given a substitute for the wine we ordered. DH does get aggravated when a particular bottle is not available. But other than that, it was great!!!!

   Fries to Caviar has improved exponentially since we were there before Covid. The food, ambiance and service are all stellar We took friends who were there for 5he first time and they loved it! If you're look8ng to detour the Ave, this is your spot!

    Worst fettuccine Bolognese dry and tasteless Chicken schnitzel dry and tasteless Meatball dry, tasteless, no sauce Salmon dried out and not good Worst dining experience for us in Boca There were 4 of us, all unhappy
