Very good food and excellent service. Air conditioning was a bit cranked up so the room was a little chilly, but the food and the service were great. Always a pleasure to have dinner at FGT.

Porterhouse steak with Jack Daniels sauce was amazing! Service was great and the entire wait staff was attentive. Only downfall was I made arrangements for a birthday dessert for my guest and they did not bring it.

My wife and I have been going to Fried Green Tomatoes for 20 years; every time we visit Galena. We started 20 years ago on our honeymoon and visited this time for our 20th Anniversary. The food has always been good. I ordered the Sea Bass and it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My wife ordered a flatbread that she said was delicious also. We always start off with the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. Although the appetizer was good, I would have not put so much cheese on it. It overwhelmed the taste of the tomatoes and marinara. Our server was very personable, and the General Manager was also. I hope this restaurant continues to be there every time we visit Galena, because we will visit again. Highly recommend.

The decor in Fried Green Tomatoes is special. The stone walls are my favorite part of the decor. And on Wednesday there is always the wine specials. But by far, their food is always great and their daily specials are very good too!

We recently dined at Fried Green Tomatoes to celebrate our anniversary and it was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the walleye with risotto and I ordered the seafood medley, both were fantastic. Service was excellent and everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes.

The fried green tomatoes and the crab cakes are so delicious and the lasagna was absolutely amazing. Our waitress Megan was very attentive and made our experience even more wonderful. We will definitely be coming back.

Fried Green Tomatoes was excellent we ate there twice on our 4 night trip to Galena and it was amazing. My family had everything from appetizers to desserts and everything was delicious. The service is excellent from booking our reservation to the servers really nice people who know what they’re doing. The restaurant is spotless/clean and the food is great. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and the first place I am going to be dining at when I get back is Fried Green Tomatoes. Thanks to all the wonderful staff who helped to make our trip great.

Our server Vera was attentive and delightful. Fried Green tomatoes for the appetizer and the blackberry bourbon glazed ribeye were fantastic. Went well with the blackberry mojito! My wife had the scallops and sweet pea risotto, also delicious. We told them it was our wedding anniversary and Vera gave us a creme brulle on the house. Everything was delivered timely and everyone was friendly and fun. Thank you for a memorable evening!

Delightful food! The salad that comes with each meal is very well thought out and shows a level of care from the restaurant. The tiramisu is a staple on any Italian menu, but they really do a nice one. Decent drinks list too.
