Fresno
Located on the edge of the village of East Hampton, the space is an airy, sky lit room featuring a wall of French doors overlooking a landscaped patio with a fountain where one may enjoy outdoor dining under a pergola. In the dining room, there is a long upholstered banquette along the opposite wall and a sleek zinc bar on the back wall anchors the space.
It was fine. When all is said and done, we both felt that it was a bit overpriced for the overall quality of the food. Lovely looking place, and our waitress was great.
Always a great dining experience and this didn’t disappoint. My only comment is that the music was a bit too loud but they did turn it down upon request. Other than that, it was wonderful.
The food (fluke tartare, butter leaf salad w/ butternut squash and crispy Brussel sprouts and the salmon main course) is as good as the best on the East end.
I’ve had a bad meal or experience there. Every bite is heavenly.
Our server Jack was great. He was pleasant and helpful with our ordering questions and his recommendations were excellent. What a nice time we had we will go back and recommend it to everyone. Great spot great staff delicious food
Food is delicious, but the prices are Very high. Service is certainly way above average.
Our waiter was MIA most of the night, we waited forever to order drinks and ended up putting in our order with someone else bc ours was no where to be found! Not impressed.
Always our "go to" East Hampton favorite.
Good food, and gracious hospitality.
The place is too noisy , they need to deaden the sound level.
Waitress was very good but the food is consistent mediocre...if it weren’t for
The price fixed it would not be worth the trip.Should get a better chef or extend the time of the
Price fix to 7/8 o’clock
Always great food and excellent service!
Local vibe with lots of energy! Delicious food and well worth the drive from Montauk for us.
Great food and service
Went for my husband's 50th birthday. The food was outstanding, the staff pleasant and accommodating. We will definitely be back.
This happens to be one of my favorite Hamptons haunts.
As always the service, food, ambiance is amazing. I’ve worked at our pop up location in East Hampton all summer and have taken colleagues here every time they’ve visited. One set of coworkers loved it so much we went 2 NIGHTS IN A ROW! Thank you Fresno’s for yet another wonderful experience

Love everything about Fresno! Our meal was delicious and service was outstanding.
My fourth visit.
Would/wouldn't recommend Fresno any longer. It's up to you. The Prix Fixed used to have a much better and varied choice. The price has gone up, but the portions and selections have gone down. Disappointed and I've been coming to this restaurant since it opened.
Very enjoyable, consistent, local favorite
Normally service is perfect
Had a lousy waitress
Noisy but worth it
Great food and hospitality
For those who can’t eat buffalo chicken wings buffalo cauliflower is the next best thing!!!
The Dal was delicious!!
We ordered the tempura cauliflower buffalo with blue cheese as app. That was very good. Everything went downhill from there.
The hummus appetizer was bland.
We ordered the Lentil Dal as main course.
While flavorful, it was so salty, we couldn't eat it and had to have them take it back. They did the right thing and offered us to pick something else. Seeing many guests order the burger, we figured we would go with the apparent popular, safe bet.
Our burger came and my wife broke off a forkful and ate the burger itself, nothing else. She immediately remarked how salty the little piece of meat was! I began to eat the rest of the burger on the bun. I had to stop after about two bites as there were major pockets of salty meat that made it inedible.
Very disappointing meal, especially after having read such good reviews on OpenTable.
We wont be returning.
Eat elsewhere.
Family in form outbid town
Absolutely delicious
The server was excellent- we sat on the patio with the gas lamps to fight the chill in the air.
The salad and pears with manchego was delicious as was the edamame/chick pea hummus.
For entrees we had the seared salmon which was crisp on the top, and perfectly cooked. The pork chop was excellent as well.
The Prix Fire is a good deal here!
Always good. The only bad thing this time was server. It seemed like she didn’t really want to be there
Overall confused by all the outstanding reviews. Food was subpar with an extremely limited menu. I had to send my first cocktail back because it had so much Campari in it I couldn’t drink it. My friend ordered her burger medium well and it was easily cooked medium rare but the waiter was too busy running around to bother having it cooked more. Every restaurant in the Hamptons is overpriced but find somewhere your dollar at least gets you enjoyable food. Pretty decor with a beautiful outdoor dining area. Has the potential to be a great place but my experience can be summed up as “eh”.
One of us ordered a wedge salad and they served the stump that normally goes in the garbage. When we called it to the owners attention he brought us another piece of lettuce. We indicated that the kitchen should know better than to send the “garbage” piece out of the kitchen. And he agreed. He was somewhat patronizing. I don’t think they should’ve charged us for the salad. Did not offer any other accommodations to order anything else, a complimentary glass of wine or coffee or anything. Not good business or good karma. I don’t think we would go there again
It was a very pleasant dinner . Good atmosphere and service . My dish, a simple roasted chicken was very dry. All the others good was very good
Never disappoints. The food is consistently good. Welcoming and friendly.
We love the Owner and are always guaranteed great (and interesting) food. Service was impeccable in spite of a very active evening. Noise level is outrageous -could be modified by adding some acoustical absorption - but it doesn't prevent us from going there!
It is expensive but the food is consistently good.
The food is so good...portions are fair, service is well above average.
We had the Salmon, pasta and steak...everything was perfect.
We went early for dinner to take advantage of their prixe fixe dinner. I was surprised to see that 2 of the main course items had an up charge. $4 additional for the Salmon and $8 additional for the steak. How can this be prixe fixe if there are up charges? Why not put different main course choices that would not require an upcharge. The salmon was barely 4 oz. size making it hard to justify the upcharge. Overall, I did not feel the prixe fixe menu was a good value.
We went for Monday night $1 oysters and were very disappointed. Oysters were minuscule. Calamari was very good. Service was attentive and sitting outdoors was lovely.
I’ve been coming here for decades and food is solid, however never felt welcoming by host or most servers... other staff are sweet & nice. Usually bartenders are very friendly. Over all it’s good and better than most restaurants in Hamptons, but not the best.
I live in LA AND probably won’t be back to the Hamptons again Our food was very tasty and we enjoyed it. I recommend the restaurant for family dinner.
Always enjoy Fresno. Wonderful food and service; pleasant and casual dining
Great food and service
Food was generally good, nothing special and 2 of 4 fish entrees were overcooked and dry . It was all wildly overpriced.
Service was spotty. Had to wait for water, bread, cocktails, and dinner. Got the appetizers quick enough however👍🏼We considered ordering dessert but after waiting for menus and then waiting another 10 minutes for the waitress to return to take our order we gave up and asked for the check instead.
