Fresh Fish Co. is a seafood restaurant in the Tech Center area of Denver, with an eye-catching feature: an enormous fish tank stretching around much of the dining room, providing a spectacular view to guests. There are also beautiful natural wood tables and chairs, bringing a more casual element to the restaurant..
There are many different dishes to choose from at Fresh Fish Co., including a variety of appetizers, soups and salads, seafood cocktails, pasta, oysters, crab, lobster, fried seafood and the fresh catch of the day. Some of the recommended Fresh Fish Co. dishes include the apple hickory smoked salmon, crab cakes and the sesame seared ahi. For a more lively experience, seating is available in the Black Pearl Oyster Bar.
Service so so, got wrong drinks, had to ask twice for butter. Food ok, gumbo was not good, just tasted like bay seasoning.
The food and service were outstanding! Our hostess went out of her way to meet our needs for handicapped seating for one of our guests. That in itself is most appreciated. Our experience in many restaurants is that we are often seated a long distance from the entrance, making it difficult for the handicapped person to navigate. Not so at the Fresh Fish Company :) Thank you.
We went to this restaurant for dinner after a very long time. The service was AMAZING. Jessie was very helpful. His recommendations were great and everybody was working really hard. The food was great too. Great experience.
Prime Rib was horrible mostly fat and tough, lobster was small and very chewy.
Not the quality that I would think they would charge $45.00 for.
I have had the same meal here before and it was very good.
Waitress was too busy somewhere else we hardly saw her for the whole dinner.
Total meal was $140.00.
It will be a while before I will eat at Fresh Fish Company again.
What used to be a vibrant and fun restaurant experience, has declined year after year.
We won't be back anymore.
The best brunch in town! Staff are alway friendly - nothing is ever a problem. The food here is amazing and they never run out! Go here. Go here NOW.
My family enjoyed another outstanding dinner at FFC. Our waitress Heather was very friendly, courteous and fast. Our food was tasty and very well presented on the plate. We love FFC and go as often as we can.
Thank you for another great time!
The shark was very good and appropriately priced. The halibut was fair and way too expensive. The service was very good. The manager came over to the table and was very friendly.
There was something for everyone. I could not believe the selection on the menus, I have to go back to try more. This was the first time in Colorado I have had real sourdough bread. The decore was a little dated but fit the charm of the restaurant. I felt like I was eating at the coast. They make you feel welcome and like part of a family.
The food was excellent! Everything delicious, nice waiter, only complaint is that we weren't allowed to pay separately. But that wasn't that big of a deal. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone.
Used to go occassionally, had not been for several years. Went to use our birthday coupons. The meal was a steak and rock lobster. The lobster was acturally good size for a rock lobster. The steak was good but not great. The service was also alright but just not as nice as expected. Maybe it was that the staff was tired from all the holiday craziness. Would go again but would most likely order seafood vs steak.
Food is always good and the staff always friendly and helpful. They are always accommodating no matter how many people are in our group.
We had an amazing dinner on Christmas Eve. The restaurant was packed but we had fantastic service and enjoyed celebrating two birthdays and Christmas Eve. The goose, shrimp, 7 Seafood dish and scallops were all well-prepared and served in a timely manner despite the full house. Service, food, ambiance are always consistently wonderful at The Fresh Fish Co.
Food was outstanding. Service could not of been better.
We had a party of 12 and they sat us in the bar area. Not quite what we had in mind for a family Christmas Eve celebration. Some of the food came out cold. However, the manager did fix our complaints.
The fish and chips tasted fishy and the Ahi tune was over cooked. We were embarrassed because
we took a friend for lunch for Christmas.
Service was great. We were celebrating an anniversary and the waitress was very attentive. Great crab cakes.
I've been a patron of the Fresh Fish Co. for 20+ years. Yesterday, the waiter was told we were under time pressure. He took the order, after a long wait. Then came back two different times to ask what we'd ordered -- he couldn't read his handwriting. My meal came 3 minutes after I was to leave. I had it boxed up. I have to note, this is highly unusual for the Fresh Fish Co. Usually the service is a little much -- they inundate you with little slips of paper so they can capture your birthday and email address, to then inundate you upcoming specials. Take your age as a percentage off your bill on your birthday, this and that. So yesterday's fail was odd. Kinda feel bad even writing it, if it hadn't been such a total fail.
They have the best brunch - so much good food and plenty of difference things for bery reasonable price. Habe been three times this year!
We love the Fresh Fish Co. Have had several functions in the banquet room and the staff has always been very friendly and efficient.
We LOVE this fish restaurant! They are so friendly & accommodating! Their birthday club is amazing! I have been there for an unbelievable brunch, dinners, & lunch! The grandkids get a free fish/ shark - which they love! If you have 't been here - GO!
We've eaten here name times over the years. We both thought our salmon dish ( listed as a special) was not very special- just OK. The waitstaff were, as usual, top notch.
The food is outstanding, great service and a terrific place for happy hour.
Karen and the team deliver a great dinner and experience - we always look forward to a nice evening out when we visit Fresh Fish.
The fish was excellent and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately the sides were dismal and bland. The wine selection is good but limited.
Food was great, Service could have been better. We had a party of 10 and was seated in the very back next to a club, music was very loud.
I was surprised that the interior had not seemed to change since the last time I was there 10 years ago. Food was good/very good. Service was indifferent. Only 2 of the 3 ordered appetizers arrived before the entre, staff had to be reminded to bring the 3rd. Staff forgot to bring a salad that was ordered as a side. Our group had to find wait staff to ask for water refills. All-in-all - not awful but certainly not great. Improve the service experience and I might recommend to my friends.
There are not that many REALLY NICE restaurants around that area, but this is one. Although pricey, the food is high quality and you leave very satisfied in that regard. The seared ahi as an appetizer is wonderful sushi grade. They seated our family of seven in an out-of-the-way spot that made us feel like the only people in the restaurant. Our waitress, whose name I don't remember, was very attentive and on the ball.
Mostly good~ quality not as good as used to be. Diablo was unedible, even after adding alfredo sauce to it. It says spicey, however it was beyond that!!
We always enjoy brunch as there is such a wide selection.
This was our first visit and we have already recommended it to our friends. The fish was delicious. Really fresh and very well prepared. Hot bread ( they even had a gluten free loaf made fresh for us) was awesome. Overall great dining experience.
I have always enjoyed the food at this restaurant, but the service was not very good. The server continually forgot to bring beverages to the table and had to be asked more than once. There was a long delay in us getting our dinner, even though parties that came in after us, received their food. This is the first time I have ever had bad service there though, so hopefully it was just a one time thing.
The food and service at TFFC is always first class! We have never had a bad dining experience there. It's our "go to" seafood restaurant.
We have eaten here many times and it is always a wonderful experience. The seafood is great and the service is exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion or just to have a nice relaxing dinner.
Been coming here for 25 years. It's been getting progressively shabbier, the wait staff is old and cranky, and the experience has gotten less than enjoyable. We have made our last visit, I'm afraid.
Sorry to say that it was not the best meal. I had the sea bass and it was undercooked. The manager did respond by giving us a desert on the house.
Always love coming here! This has to be the best brunch in Denver. We are always seated at our reservation time, the staff are so amazingly nice and polite - and the manager always comes to the table to ask how our meal was.
Consistently good food and service each visit. Every different fish we have tried was tasty and prepared perfectly. Service seems friendly, attentive, but not overwhelming.
Outstanding management, by Karen. Dined there 11/15/14, and have dined there many times before over the years. The Canadian halibut was perfectly prepared, and as a result was delicious.
Our waitress, Jessica, overlooked us on the bar service, but after she was told about it she took excellent care of us for the rest of the meal. If you go here, order one of the high quality fish items--salmon or halibut--and you will be glad you did.
This was a birthday brunch and everyone of my party had a great time. We like to come to Fresh Fish for brunch because the food selection is fantastic and everyone can find something they like. This is becoming a tradition for us. We will be back in December for another birthday brunch
