A pleasantly quiet area in a very noisy, smoke-filled hotel. The food was lovely, the wait-staff attentive. Prices a bit steep.
very nice place. The food was very good ?The decor was in good taste. The bread was especially good.
Would definitly go back,
Food was OK but service was well below standard. Our waiter (Michael ?) brought the wrong wine, did not offer us any water and basically ignored us while he chit chatted with another table. We waited about 10 minutes for someone to come to our table to get our drink order and in fact another waiter asked us after about 15 minutes if anyone was looking after us. Michael was a nice guy but focus on the job at hand left a lot to be desired. Food was average with the pasta a bit leathery. Meatballs however were phenomenal. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant. I even considered not leaving a tip but that is not my way even when the service was so sub par.
Fabulous food. Highly recommended
The food was ok, we had one server that was very good, another was a dud.
The room was pretty loud.
I would not rush back
This was a most memorable experience! The food was delicious! The staff were so personable! The atmosphere was was delightful! We were celebrating our anniversary there with friends, and could not have been in a finer restaurant! We definitely recommend it!!!
Great service and food . All in our party were pleased !
We've eaten there several times and we will be going back. Food is excellent!
Great food and great atmosphere!
Michael our waiter was fantastic.
We were fortunate enough to have Michael as our server. He was outstanding and made the evening enjoyable. The seafood risotto and bombolini were amazing. He even got us out the door in time to make the Bruno Mars concert. We will be back. Thank you, Bob and Rene
We each picked an entree (3) and they served them family style. Very good food
My family and I wanted to try some authentic Italian and after we heard executive chef Young took over here we knew we had to try.
We were greeted and taken to our table where we were meet by the best most energetic server Michael. If you can ask for him I would cause he will sing to you all night.
Two of us in our group of 5 got drinks and then the appetizers started flowing. Stuffed mozzarella, calamari, beef carpaccio, bruschetta and meatballs were beyond amazing the meatball was the BEST I have ever tried!
Our table also got the frutti de Mare pasta and a new dish with fennel sausage, red peppers, and broccolini I would highly recommend both of these dishes!
Chef came out and chatted with the table to see how everything was and if we would like to try a few other dishes and we obviously wanted more it was so cool to chat with him about his menu!
Lastly we got Agnello (Lamb Chops), Vitello Parmigiana (Bone in Veal) and the Branzino (Mediterranean Sea Bass). Talk about an explosion of flavors everything could not have been any better and with the family style servings it felt like classic Italian family dinner. The lamb chops and veal were bursting with flavor and cooked to absolute perfection if you do family style grab both of these you won't be disappointed!
We can't wait to go back to try Fresco again and see all the new creations from the amazing Chef Steve.
Great service! Large portions. Delicious
The food was great, the restaurant was great, but the server Michael was the real show stopper. Big thanks to Michael M Baker for everything from the man who knows just how blessed we all are.
The person who attended us was not friendly , I think seeing our accent and knowing that we were no native , but I gave her 40 dollars of tip for her bad attention , we are from Cuba.
The food was ok. We got the special which was in my opinion worth it. The food was good tasting but not spectacular and I wouldn't pay more than what we paid for that special. If you order a la carte the food is expensive and like I stated not spectacular so I don't think I'd recommend eating there in general.
Service was slow and the fire alarm was ringing for 15 mins but other than that it was an enjoyable meal
I wanted shrimp Alfredo but it was not on the menu my waitress put the order in and brought it to me and it was beautiful rich and creamy. There was definitely not a shortage of shrimp. I would definitely dine here again. The atmosphere was beautiful and very relaxing.
service was ok, menu was limited and more pricey than expected.
Just horrible .. Pasta was like rubber consistency. We had to ask for parmesan - this an Italian restaurant & that should be a staple. Would not recommend
Service was prompt and friendly. Spaghetti was OK, not great. Meatballs were a little dry.
I took my girlfriend to dinner there for our anniversary....I’ve never been in a restaurant with such hospitality before. Everything was excellent.. food , waitress the staff and the manager that came and conversation with us for a few min. I high recommend Fresco Italiano if u r ever in Vegas
Food. Service The Room. All great. Excellent value
I loved the whole experience! Michael our server was phenomenal and the food was excellent! It was our first time there and won’t be our last!
I highly recommend the risotto! Ask for Michael, he is an incredible waiter.
So to begin with I checked in with the hostess and @730 to grab a reservation for 8pm. After seeing the sign that says reservations also available through opentable I naturally opened that app at the same time the hostess arrived. I ask for 8pm as the app said 8pm was available she said she did not have 8pm only 845pm. So took that and then made a opentable reservation for 815pm. Came back at 815pm and my table was ready so why lie to your potential customers.
After ordering we ordered all the different pastas available. Both of the sea food pastas where not good. The clam linguine was uneaten and had to sent back because to our table it just tasted bad and the noodles where hard not al dente but hard. Listed on the menu this item should have had linguine but what was served was the same spaghetti noodles that all the other dishes had. The fruit of the sea dish suffered from the same off putting taste as the linguine and the hard noodle problem.
This was the third visit here and we like to give thing a second chance but no more.
Great choice for Italian. Our food was amazing! Service was excellent! Nice portions for the price.
Food was subpar. Far better Italian restaurants in town
One of the best meals we’ve ever eaten. I highly recommend the Galette Cornish Game Hen!
Charming, nice menu. There was a great Restaurant Week deal with a 3 course prixe fixe for $40 plus a wine pairing for each course (additional cost). I had Branzino which was really excellent. Wine was good too. Tiramisu served in a cup was just right.
The food was good, however, the service was very slow. That was the case with all of the restaurants in The Westgate Hotel. They were turning people away, yet had a table sit dirty for well over 40 minutes that would have sat 4 guests. I would recommend due to not many options unless you left the hotel.
The spaghetti and meatballs were cold. The mozzarella appetizer was delicious and our waiter, Michael was great.
We has seabass, shrimp and grits, the seafood pasta, spaghetti and a salad which were all good. The fettuccine is the only dish I do not recommend. Service started great then declined by the time we left.
Very engaging server and good food
Our waitress was so sweet! The food came out fast and was really delicious I want to go back for more!
It took forever for us to get waited on. Our waiter Michael was really trying but evidently they were very short staffed . Michael was being very professional in spite of it all . the food really wasn't that good and it was expensive
Great food, nice slow pace, pleasant service — would definitely go back.
For hotel food, Fresco is above average. Again, more money than a regular restaurant as it is in the Westgate. If you want to eat before the show, this is as good as it gets
The manager, Carole (?), was a total delight! I cannot say the same for our waiter the first night. He (I won't name him) was sullen and didn't really take care of the 8 of us, didn't refill water, coffee, etc. Seemed resentful of our presence. The bread he served us, initially was totally hard and dry. It got a bit better later, but not much. (He must have been having a bad night I thought - but we saw him the next night - and he was not getting along with staff that night either. I hope he's OK.)
Since the hotel didn't really have many options at night. We came back the second night. This time, Guttierez was considerate, helpful and, while busy, did not make us feel neglected. From him, we learned the bread was meant to be soft, crusty and fresh.
The food was good. Not great. I've had better Italian food. It was generous. And we had leftovers. Since the hotel had refrigerators, we took the food to our rooms, with a set of plastic utensils. The spaghetti was good cold.
The smells coming from the kitchen (right behind us) were tempting. I kept smelling the fried calamari. And wanted to order that the second night - but, by 7:00 pm, they were already out. So, not sure about their ordering and logistics, considering the hotel was full of conventioneers and only Fresco, Benihana and the Steakhouse were open at night. (even the hotel's coffee shop and buffet were closed after lunch - strange hotel - Westgate.)
We had 8 people. The restaurant didn't have an area where we could sit at a round table, see and hear each other. We sat at 2 4-person tables pushed together, so half the people couldn't interact with the other half. That was disappointing.
There was a panel on one wall that looked like windows overlooking Italian scenery. It was a changing panorama. That was a charming surprise. At first I thought it was a window.
But, a good time was had by all. So, thank you for the general overall experience.
