We thought the food and service were both great. Salads and pastas were fresh and cooked perfectly. Great change from typical Hawaiian food while away from home.
Nice ambience with our table on the back. Excellent service. Three course menu is a very good value. Menu choices had good variety, but a creative pasta dish would have been nice. But overall really good experience. I would go back.
Fish off the day was a little over cooked, but tasted excellent. The kids portion was really big, my little guy loved the spaghetti. My carbonara was perfect, tons of great bacon, really good flavor, could have used a little more crab. The lobster bisque was amazing, huge Cooks of lobster, great flavor, not a small portion. Really good meal overall.
Great service but okay food. Also, beer was not cold so waiter offered different beer.
I make it a point to eat at Fresco's every time I am on the Island food is excellent, service is excellent, great wine list and cold beer. If you like Italian food and good service you must try Fresco's
Excellent service & nice ambiance
GREAT Italian in a busy, commercial resort. This is not your average "hotel food". I know moist people won't think Italian when they think of Hawaii, but I strongly recommend giving it a try.
Had some problems with food, service and drinks. But it’s a great location.
We stayed at the Grand Islander and this restaurant was in the Hilton Hawaiian village. I enjoyed the atmosphere, service and the lasagna was excellent. I very good meal.
Good service with average food. Nice quiet restaurant with pleasant views of the Hilton Hawaiian Village
Surprisingly good Italian food in the Pacific being native NY ers.
Some c/o small portions but not so. The waiter was superb.
Calamari was rubbery. Ordered grilled shrimp with my pasta, shrimp was overcooked and tough. Pasta itself was OK, but not great. Wait staff seemed eager to have us done so they could clear the table. Not a good overall experience.
Very friendly staff and the presentation of the food was really nice. Pasta was cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. The location is very difficult to find as signage is poor.
Average place at best. Nothing special.
Nice ambience. Food is ok.
Decent prices for area
Service was questionable. The mussels in my entree were overcooked. Management seemed to care less that I was unhappy, on Valentine's Day.
Food & service were excellent
One thing we thought required attention: the music was most annoying, the
Such a great experience over all we booked a dinner the next night for a second visit
Excellent time here. Food was good, not great, for the $. The service was very good and the ambiance was excellent. Would definitely return.
The place is very clean, quiet and well decorated. Tablecloth and big tables is another plus. The staff is very attentative and pleasant.
Food is well prepared and plated very nicely. We were early for our reservation but we were seated promptly. Their early bird three course special is worth the price. Will definitely recommend the place
Food quality is not great
Caesar salad to share...generous portions. Spicy shrimp scampi was good but shrimp a little over-cooked and pasta could have been cooked a little more for me. Veal cutlet was tender and very good. Service was excellent. Seated by an open window and could watch people which was delightful!
We came for my husband’s birthday on our first day in Waikiki after a very long flight. The food was all right, nothing exceptional and the service was a little perfunctory. But it was still a good meal.
Food was terrible - loaded with garlic
Overall was a great experience to come to Fresco for the first time. Unfortunately due to time constraints wasn't able to experience the fireworks show. Waiter was great and appreciated the dessert at the end of the night.
Food was decent. Server Matt was great.
Good variety of food. Prepared well and timely, friendly service. Interesting wine list
The service was very slow. We waited more than one hour just for a second plate an appetizers.
Meat was cold when arrived at the table. I’m not going back
The food took over an hour to come out after waiting an hour to be seated. Most pricy and worst Italian food I’ve ever had. Bread was hard and not warmed. Calamari was pathetic and looked like it came from Mcdonalds. The soup was okay but nothing amazing. Do not order the chicken Parmesan. Pasta was old and rubbery and when we mentioned it to the waiter he replied that the pasta had been “re tossed”. Could have gotten WAY better food for more than half the price somewhere like macaroni grill, or Buca di beppo. Honestly, the best tasting thing I got here was my latte. Don’t waste your time or money at this restaurant.
Awesome service; great ambiance; food was plentiful.
Very poor ambiance and unsophisticated menu. Nice server and staff.
Price was way too exorbitant. Also had to wait an hour for the food to arrive.
A very disappointing place. Food was so, so. The Mai-Tail's are horrible. Do not order. I had one sip and send it back.
Great traditional Italian food. Minestrone, Bolognese, and Chicken Parm were all terrific and well priced.
The restaurant was maybe 20% full; however, it took over 10 minutes for someone to greet us at our table and take drink orders. We also had to wait quite a while to get our drinks and food. Food was good, but not worth the price. I’d suggest going somewhere off the resort if you want good food and good service.
Food and service was excellent. It was a bit pricey for Italian food but I think the expensive bill had more to do with the overpriced wine-by-glass selection, which was fairly limited in selection.
Consistently excellent. I'm Italian and very comfortable with the food. Seafood pasta dishes are excellent. Tammy is professional and well deserving of praise!
Ask for her station. You will not be disappointed.
We went to the early bird dinner. Three course. Good value. The outside dining could be more inviting
Great ambiance and food. Excellent staff!
