Freds at Barneys New York is a modern day bistro. The brainchild of Fred Pressman, son of Barneys New York founder Barney Pressman, Fred's has something on the menu for everyone. We offer only the best ingredients and use local farm healthy foods. Whether it's lobster bisque, robiola with truffle oil pizza, fresh pastas, Baltimore crab cakes or the nationally famous Mark's Madison Avenue salad, our guest’s appetite for taste and luxury are always satisfied. Located on the ninth floor of our Madison Avenue store, Fred’s is open for lunch and dinner, and brunch on weekends.

It was great! The worst part of it was going through the skeleton of once was an amazing store.

Was strange to be at Fred's and see it dead on a Friday afternoon. Obviously a result of Barneys closing out. I hope they can get the sparkle and vibrance back- the food and service was still very good just felt 'dismal'

I purchased a $25 entree. At first I got a $60 bill. I pointed out the error and got a $40 bill. It took way too long to get the right bill.

Wonderful meal at the legendary Fred's at Barneys New York! I call it 'stylish comfort food'... amazing Tuscan Meatloaf, phenomenal Garlic Mashed Potatoes, velvety Chicken Francese, real NY Pizza, and awesome homemade Chicken Soup from a secret Pressman family recipe for whatever ails ya. And by far the best Chicken Parmigiana I've ever had, can hold it's own against any lauded Italian trattoria. Run, don't walk to Fred's because Barney's is going out of business and the restaurant will only be there as long as the lease holds out!
