Michelin 1 Star - I predict. The freshest cuisine, excellent presentation, creative and while not trendy, it was a WOW! experience. We are foodies and also always looking for quality and taste.

If you have that AND excellent, personable, experienced servers then you will enjoy this sweet, cozy place in a tiny shopping center near the Lake. We have NEVER had better sashimi, even in very expensive sushi restaurants. And the price was unbelievable, less than half what other quality spots charge. Flown in fresh, always. So melt-in-your mouth delicious, flavorful, bountiful servings and little touches, such as super-thin slices of lemon added to the presentation on a smooth wooden board.

Their sushi rolls are original. Ours had crunch and savory, so buttery was the fish and a zing inside. If you took a macro photo of just one piece you'd want to enlarge it, print it and frame it for your wall. Perfect combination of nature meets creativity. The cauliflower soup was to rave for because it was comfort food and so sweet, with a crunch of tiny fried buds to make you smile.

Ah, but the sautéed spinach was a yum-yum surprise with every bite, accompanied by a bed of light fresh creamy sauce to balance the acidity. I prefer hot sake but this place specializes in cold sake and you'll find the server very knowledgeable.

All I can say is that I would drive an hour to eat here again and will tell everyone I know that this place, a hidden gem with a little fireplace to warm you on a cool Tahoe evening, to be on my go-to restaurant list. If this restaurant were in NY or SF or LA, there would be lines outside. Trust me, it's that good.

They didn’t have a table for almost an hour but we put two tables together and made it work. Fun restaurant, good sushi and lobster pops

Our party of 7 found this cozy local restaurant serendipitously, but we were all quite pleased by the creative way chef fused Asian flavors with classic cuisine to produce uniquely delicious seasonal appetizers and entrees, that were splendidly satisfying. Portion size was on the small side, but we left satisfied nonetheless. A local gem that we will visit again.

Staff was friendly, but not on it with the water (our litmus test for good service). It's in a small event room for the hotel, which was odd. The pictures of food on open table looked amazing, but the execution of the food was poor, except the calamari (That was the best thing we ordered). The crispy pork belly was overcooked (So sad, I was so looking forward to it). How you can overcook Halibut is beyond me, but it was overcooked. Definitely a disappointment.

Wow the chef was so accommodating to our needs and the food was AMaZING! The scallops appetizer has a little spice and was delicious. They were cooked perfectly! My Caesar salad was the best I’ve had in incline village! Props to the chef! We will be back tomorrow again for dinner thanks

This is one of our best dining experiences of 2017. The service was prompt, courteous and fun in just the right balance. The food was simply excellent. We both had seafood, and it was tasty, had just the right texture, was properly seasoned, and was just plain fun. We've already recommended Fredrick's Fusion to friends who go to Tahoe, and we will certainly be back.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Incline but usually the noise level is unbearable which it was not on this evening as it was the low season between the summer and winter seasons. The food is always excellent with the exception of the Sushi which is quite average but still tasty. The sake choices were good while not extensive and very tasty as well. The staff help was very friendly and helpful. Always look forward to going back for the lobster dogs, tuna poke and a very original take on miso soup.

Scallops were under cooked, the sushi not fresh, the stew was nothing but peanut sauce, but our service was great. Paid 160 dollars and didn't touch the food. By far the worst food I've ever had

If you're in Incline Village or on the North Shore, go to Fredrick's! You will not be disappointed. This is run by local people, its open most of the year, and it needs your support to keep that delicious fusion food coming.

We verysimply liked nothing about it. The food was mediocre in three cases and actually bad in a fourth. The waitress was knowledgeable but way too gabby. It was a disappointing experience. On the other hand, we appear to be in the minority, as most reviewers seemed to like it. But we definitely won't be back.

Found on Open Table. Small and obviously known by the locals. Each dish was delicious. One waitress who waited on a dozen tables but with efficiency, attentiveness and cheerfulness. SO if you are in a hurry to eat and go, don't bother. If you are content to wait, converse and enjoy the food and wine and have memories of a fine meal, come here. A varied menu. Out of the ordinary and obviously prepared with expertise and care. On our list for next year.
