The good and service here never fails to impress me. Great dinner with a friend. She wasn’t as happy as I was with her meal, but we agree service is impeccable. I had salmon with mango pineapple salsa. Superb. She had swordfish with Thai sauce and was unimpressed. Said it was fishy. Ahhh well. It IS fish.

Lobster beautifully prepared. Was it a 2.5 lb lobster? Thankfully no, but great nonetheless. Stuffed mushrooms terrific -- superior to pre-closure "tall" versions. Menu appeared to have been abbreviated, which is ok by me. Server was exceptional, overall an experience I would recommend. Great fun.

Food was good as always. We sat at the bar and Tim seemed to be serving us under stress as he was making drinks for the entire restaurant. Pam was serving the entire bar and seemed overwhelmed having to take care of 16 plus customers as well as people waiting for tables. No management around to see what was going on. Restaurant servers were very patient waiting for drinks but this could have been a disaster. We are regulars at the bar and hopefully TR will go back to regular staffing to make it a more enjoyable experience for its customers. Glad Fred and Steve’s is back!

So happy to be back at our favorite restaurant. Menu is slightly smaller (no doubt it will be back once supply issues get sorted out) but the service and quality were as great as ever. So nice to see Dave the worlds best waiter! Can’t wait to go again! I had the filet and crab special and my date had the swordfish special. Delicious!

All four meals were excellent. The Serling steaks were nice and juicy and tasty. My wife had a very generous piece of salmon which she said was cooked perfectly. My friend had the swordfish and also was cooked perfectly. We missed them while they were closed, glad they are back.

Went to Fred and Steve's after making a Reservation on Open Table as their voicemail directed. Arrived on time. Told the Hostess we had a Reservation and she said there was nothing there. She kept misspelling my name, as I repeated it 5 or 6 times. Never did get it right. Finally said there was no record. I showed her the Confirmation on my phone and it meant nothing to her. Finally someone came over (her Boss?) and asked what the problem was. I showed her the Confirmation as well and she showed us to a table, otherwise I was told that they were full up. Service and food & wine were excellent. I would consider going back, but the snafu with the Reservation makes me uncomfortable, and the Hostess was incompetent. Almost ruined the evening.

The resturant opened at 5pm, and our reservations were for 5:15pm, for which we arrived on time.
We both ordered 2 1/2 lb. lobster and baked potatoe, with a tailgate salad. The salad was good, but the potatoe tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave oven, and the lobster was barely warm, not like it had just been cooked.
At $75 for a lobster, you would think it would be hot.
We have been there in the past, and have enjoyed their food, so this was very disapointing.

Was wonderful to have this restaurant re-open after an 18 month closure. Some of the wait staff has changed, but everything was still wonderful.

We were seated in a booth, in the dining area, that overlooked the casino floor. We were greeted by our waiter and quickly ordered drinks and then was served the bread. At least this hasn't changed. The bread was great along with the different dips.

She ordered the petite filet (medium well) with the gorgonzola sauce and a side of the red skinned mashed potatoes. I ordered a tailgate salad, traditional prime rib (medium) and a side of the steamed fresh asparagus. The tailgate salad is now $14, up from $10 and the sides were $12, up from $8. The petite filet is now $59, up from $40 and the prime rib is now $51, up from $38. I fully expected that prices would be higher since everything is harder to source and food prices, in general, are higher.

The tailgate salad was good but a bit too much dressing. My prime rib and asparagus were very good. She was not so happy. Her filet mignon was butterflied (in my opinion, it looked like a flat hamburger) and there was no juice. She said it had good taste but it was dry. At least she had the gorgonzola sauce to add to it. Never, in any previous visit, did the chef/sous chef butterfly her filets when ordered medium well (we've been here multiple times). The waiter stated that this makes it cook faster. The mashed potatoes had an overabundance of garlic which rendered them inedible.

I would like to note that the waiter did offer to fire up another one for her but what's the point? I have my dinner and she'd have to wait another 30-40 minutes for hers to be delivered. Not an ideal situation and not expected from what I consider, a high-end steak house.

The manager did stop by to ask about the filet and did offer a dessert on the house. We declined the offer because at that point, we were already full and really just wanted to leave.

I will give Fred & Steve's another try but will wait a while as I feel they need to work out the kinks. This was a very difficult review to write as I have always given Fred & Steve's high marks.

Christina and Ricky were a great server team. Our oysters and shrimp cocktail were fresh and delicious. The cocktail sauce has pepper which adds a nice bite.
The prime rib was excellent as was the filet surf and turf. The cream corn side is a must. If you have room, the white chocolate mousse with mixed berries is outstanding.

Made reservations so seating was quick. The staff very attentive and polite. The food was a amazing had the lamb was cooked med rare. Credit to chef it came out perfect. My partner and I had a great experience. I’ll refer anyone to try it out at least once.

Totally not impressed this time around. I had to send my steak back twice and no one said anything to me and service was just ok. Hopefully twin rivers will get more restaurants for people to choose from because I won’t be back to Fred and Steve’s.

It was a very enjoyable evening out with my daughter and granddaughter. We had a Calamari appetizer that was delicious as always with Lobster Macaroni and Asparagus sides. Our Entree’s were baked
stuffed shrimp and 2 others with surf and turf entree’s. It was extremely busy and our waiters were trying to do a good job in spite of the rush that was happening! Most of the diners were being comped as Twins and Fred and Steve’s were in on this promo. Was pretty noisy too! All in all had a nice time!

Planned our Valentine dinner after the holiday hoping for a less hectic experience. Service was not up to usual standard. Food took much longer than usual. We were not offered coffee or dessert and had to flag down someone to get the check,.
Also, out of our favorite cranberry nut bread.
Did not get water refilled and were basically neglected after food arrived

The food & waitstaff were amazing! Food was outstanding, the lobster bisque was creamy & buttery. Filet was melt in your mouth perfect. They even comped is a dessert due to the valet being backed up and making us 10 minutes late for our reservation. Waitstaff is top notch & we will definitely be back again.
