About

Fraticelli's Italian Grill and Lounge is driven by one simple principle… create a great Italian impression. Or as the Italians often say… "fare una bella figura."
Like our 13 provinces and territories, Italy has 20 wonderful regions, each one more adamant than the other that they have the best food in the country. Our menu at Fraticelli's is to serve you the best of the best from these wonderful regions. Our steaks are cooked over a high heat wood-fire grill made famous in Tuscany. Our pastas are fresh and our sauces are homemade ranging from the classic northern dish Pappardelle Bolognese to the southern Sicilian style seafood pasta, Spaghetti Pescatore. The pizzas are served Napoletana; style, thin crust and stone baked at 750 degrees. All made with the freshest ingredients available, authenticated with imported Italian plum tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, and the best grated cheeses.

Service was great, staff very friendly. The appetizers were all very good, however on the main the pasta sauce was all tomato and lacked seasoning, noodles were over cooked.

Service was excellent, both hostess and waiters were very kind, charismatic and very good on explaining the menu, suggesting orders, however the food wasn't the best. Pizza was delicious but the carbonara pasta wasn't good at all.

Would go back for the service and pizza only.

Overall the food was good. I enjoyed my eggplant lasagna however the Veal Picata was overcooked and the pesto linguine was a bit heavy on the garlic.
Service was good and friendly.

The waiter was a mature man named Brian -- a good start. He kept the usual franchise style discourse about being "our waiter", " taking care of us" and listing specials that aren't to a bare minimum. The food was less than cafeteria grade. In the fettuccine Alfredo, the linguine was unevenly cooked with some of it cooked to death and having the texture of cardboard not to mention clinging together in clumps because it was left without anyone stirring the pot for about 19 minutes. The salmon was poor. Neither myself nor my friend are everything. We had no coffee nor dessert but, rather, got the hell out, never to return. I gave Brian about a 15% tip, pre-tax, on his merits alone -- which I usually would not do.

Franchise food.
If you have never eaten in an Italian restaurant you will like it but if you know better you will be disappointed. Will not be back soon. Have had better food in a food court.

The restaurant is nicely laid out with a bar and separate restaurant area. We arrived and waited about three to four minutes until someone came to greet us at the front. It was a Sunday evening so was slow evening for the restaurant. We had a nice booth. The food was good and the service was fine. Nothing negative. It's a nice neighbourhood type of Italian restaurant, not something I would drive quite a distance to travel to. Food is reasonably priced. I had the seafood pasta, was very nice.

Wait staff was very friendly and informative. Service was prompt and accurate. Menu has a lot of choice. Prices were reasonable. Portion sizes were generous and food was good. Good for a casual family dinner. This was our first experience, we will be back.
