Fratelli Milano Downtown Miami Ratings and Reviews
Absolutely great place. It was my first time there for my 2 year anniversary with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it. It was cozy and romantic. The service was great and the food was spectacular. I ordered the lobster ravioli and he ordered a filet Miñon Alfredo pasta and it was just delicious. Totally worth the price and drive all the way downtown.
I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I went on Valentine's Day which is usually the day restaurants manage to mess up food but everything was on point! Let me start off by saying the service was amazing! Everyone was great! The food was beyond delicious. My husband had the filet mignon with Gorgonzola. It had so much flavor. He ordered pasta on the side with pink sauce. Sauce was on point. For dessert we ordered the Tiramisu. Can I say, DELICIOUS? I have very high expectations because people wil always manage to mess up this simple dessert. It was exquisite. I definitely recommend this restaurant to all!!
Great find. Looking for a place close to the James L Knight Center and this was perfect. The staff was very friendly and accommodating (told them we were in a bit of a hurry due to a concert) and the food was fabulous. Had the grilled swordfish, cooked to perfection, served with grilled veggies. My friend had the veal scallopini which she indicated was delicious. All in all a great experience. Will definitely return.
My lady and I decided to try something new. We both were craving Italian and decided this was the place to go. Upon, arrival I was greeted immediately by the hostess who wanted to make sure I had the best seat in the house at the time. The service was punctual (never skipped a beat. The food was immaculate. I haven't had Italian in a long time and this place was well worth the wait. I will definitely be back for another course.
Defiantly enjoyed our first visit and look forward to going back.
Food was very good and wine list was excellent. Most expensive bottle was $79 dollars, which is rare for a Miami restaurant.
Service was good, could be a touch better.
Overall, very good experience. Looking forward to going back.
We were excited to find this authentic Italian restaurant while visiting for the weekend. Having just been to Italy recently, we were pleased to find many traditional items on the menu as well as a selection of seafood dishes and Italian wines. The wine was reasonably priced, from various regions in Italy. The bruschetta was delicious and tasted fresh and homemade. My boyfriend ordered the lasagna which he enjoyed and I ordered the lobster ravioli in vodka sauce which was the best ravioli I’ve ever had. The ambiance was nice with candlelit tables and very friendly, helpful staff as well as the owner who checked on us during our meal. We sat outside which was a little noisy at times with the street traffic but we didn’t mind and could’ve eaten inside. I would recommend to family and friends in the future.
We visit fratelli milano every time we fly to Miami. The food never disappoints. I had chicken farcito which is stuffed with spinach ricotta and pine nuts. Delicious. Veggies were fresh. Amazing chocolate soufflé for dessert although their tiramisu is one of the best I’ve ever had. This is authentic and delicious. Look forward to our next cruise out of Miami just so we can visit Fratelli Milano again. Waiter was attentive and efficient.
We were in Miami for the Orange Bowl game. Noticed Fratelli's when we we went for a walk and thought that we would try it. We are glad that we did. It compares to our favorite hometown Italian place ( Vin Santo) Do not know when will get to Miami again but would certainly go there again and would recommend them if asked.
Arrived 10:30 after a show. Staff was very friendly and we
chose to sit outside on the sidewalk.
Risotto Frutti di Mare was a major disappointment since
it was a large bowl of long grain rice with some seafood.
If you advertise risotto, at least use Aroborio or another
rice for risotto or you immediately discredit yourself
as authentic Italian.
Lobster ravioli tasty, heavy cream sauce.
Appetizer, fried calamari and zucchini fair.
We had to send the wine back...lousy, but they gladly
Ambience on a downtown sidewalk late at night less than ideal. Lots of homeless looking for food and other less than desirables hanging around. (City should rectify).
In a sea of Italian restaurants to choose from in a 5 mile radius, there are far better at similar price points.
Maybe a better place for lunch.
