Great drinks n food.
right in center city good place to eat before or after a show.
Meatballs are amazing, and so is the Caesar salad with chicken
First time going here. Visiting Philadelphia for special occasion for the weekend. Very nice place. Food was delicious and drink was awesome. Love our waitress. Didn’t get her name but the one with glasses and tattoo she’s very awesome!!!!!!!! Will come back again
Food was delicious. Staff was very courteous and attentive.
I loved this place so much, I came back k with my team for a second time! The food was scrumptious and Nicole was a great sever. Every dish here is delicious! My team loved their meals and so we will be back!
We had 15 people in our party. This was a huge office event for people on travel. The food was terrific! We tried a majority of items and all of them were delicious! However, the real find and the real star of the evening was Teddy. He was able to keep track of everyone’s drinks and meals and gave us all individual checks without fuss. He was charming, professional and so warm and friendly! His drink suggestions and food tips were spot on! This was the best time we’ve had thanks to Teddy!
Great food and a really cool place to see a show. We were happy with the food selection and the quality of everything we had.
Great service, delicious food and reasonable prices.
The atmosphere is cool and it’s a lively bar scene. Yet the food was terrible. Better spot for casual drinks.
Overall, the menu was interesting, food was good, prices okay. The mussels app was filling and delicious. The beet salad was yummy. The ribeye was chewy.
Food served politely and quickly. Very noisy, but waitress said this us unusual, since a large noisy group came in unexpectedly. I got the duck/dumplings which tasted very good, but only about 6 to 7 slivers of duck (Did they run out?). Seemed more like an appetizer for $21.00. We moved to the bar, and by then the noisy group had gone . The bartender made excellent Choco martini, but showed little personality. She was not mean, just doing her job, nothing special. We will try another restaurant next time we go into city to see a show.
This was the first time we ate here. We had tickets at the Kimmel Center and wanted a place close to the theater. The restaurant is a little dark with a funky decor but we really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant for a great meal.
Food was ok, bathroom disgusting. The highlight was the server. Nick was energetic and helpful but the music was soooo loud (it was only 6pm) you could barely have a conversation
Me in my girl had a great night
Steak was served with homemade steak sauce and truffale butter, made for a fabulous combo. 1st visit, will go back!
We were a party of four. Two of us had the shrimp scampi and our wives ordered several appetizers as a main course. Food was excellent as was the service. The bar/restaurant has a burlesque theater on the second floor and is just a block away from the Academy of Music, which is where we were headed after our meal.
Awesome meal and service!
Went for bday celebration staff was really nice and made it a memorable dinner thank you
Had dinner at Frankie Bradley's last night and everything was good.
My server NICK was the best, came back to the table a few times to see if I needed anything.
I had a few request for the chef and NICK took care of it.
The salad was really good. The meatball sandwich was very good. The Mojito was made to perfection.
It did get alittle noise later on but it was manageable.
If you go you can make a reservation ....and ask for NICK. Guarantee good service.
was a little surprised by the decor, as I was with my sons. But I gotta say the food was wonderful, the service was great and we really enjoyed ourselves. If you go get the organic chicken. Its fabulous.
We met our party here after the Army Navy football game...ambiance was great, service was great, drinks were spot on, and the bill for 10 didn't break the bank. This is our third year for the game in Philly, and we've been to this restaurant each year...we'll go back again!
Very loud and food was ok. Service was good. We made a reservation the day before the Army NAvy game. Down an alley, easy walk from Doubletree. There were four of us. Maybe for a very young crowd this atmosphere and quality of food would work. Very average and very loud.
It was a great time! Waiters were great! Food good!
Fun place to dine. Not a place to go if you want intimate conversation!
Great atmosphere authentic South Philly type feel. Meatballs are the best I've had in years, highly recommended. Wings were very good, crispy outside juicy inside. Had the barbecue wings next time would do buffalo.
Great spot off the beaten path. Cozy and the food was awesome. Good variety without being overwhelming.
Sexy vibe. Great happy hour menu for drinks and food.
My friends and I stopped in for dinner before the show at the Academy of Music. The Silent Whisper cocktail was quite good so much so we all had two. The server was very attentive and when we mentioned we were going to a show we got an additional discount. I had the chicken Parmesan which was good the chicken was a little tough. My friends got the shrimp scampi and really liked it. The apps were also very good we split the meatballs and cheese fries.
Great little place close to theaters. A bit off the beaten path. Great music, great bar food, good beer selection. All of our appetizers and entrees were very good. Service was prompt and friendly. Its a bar with good food. Enjoy.
8 of us had dinner prior to a show at the Academy of Music. We all enjoyed the food, service and the short walking distance to the theater.
Fun bar food place but soooooo loud. Couldn’t have conversations with person sitting next to you. Service was wonderful.
Great food and great service. Fun casual atmosphere. Happy to go back.
This place was a very pleasant surprise and exceeded our expectations. I had a delicious grilled chicken sandwich, which came with fries which were excellent. The service was friendly and prompt, and the prices were very reasonable. We will return.
Tucked away on a quiet block of Chancellor Street, but what a find! My wife's sea bass was done perfectly, and the meat on my ham shank melted off the bone. The kitchen shows a sophistication you might not expect from the unpretentious setting. The bar downstairs was boisterous at 7:30 on a Friday night, but the upstairs was still quiet. I suspect that changes later in the evening.
Don't let looks deceive you. This "hole in the wall" makes some of the best food I've had in Philly. My mushroom tarte and french onion soup were excellent and my friend nearly licked her plate clean with the Oscar Grouper. Super convenient to the local theaters. We'll be back!
What a surprise, excellent food, great service, and a unique, fun place to dine. I highly recommend trying them out!! Fallon was awesome!!
I’m becoming more and more convinced that this is one of the better restaurants in the city. Great kitchen staff/servers. Prices for Center City can’t be beat.
Always better than it should be...
There are pricier restaurants in the area, but I would wager the food here is better.
Food is excellent. Service was fantastic. And the ambiance is really fun! Great spot for a fun night out for dinner and drinks.
Way too nosy. Can't hear yourself think much less carry out a conversation without shouting - which everyone was doing to be heard over the canned music. Ugh
Good quick comfort food, but not great. The meatballs, which seem to be a specialty of the house, were good but not amazing. They forgot to bring an appetizer. Otherwise, the service was good and friendly. Nice selection of beer.
