This is one of my favorite restaurants, and we always come for my birthday and Valentines Day. Was a bit disappointing this time. Mixup with reservation-- we waited one hour for a table, and food not quite up to par. Waitress was lovely. Management made it up to us, and we will def be back!

Rob was absolutely amazing! I will come back besides the food being amazing , Robs service was even more of a reason to come back! Thank you Rob and the chefs and all the staff!

Food was great but once u got busy service was not great. We arrived6:15 but by 7:00 service declined rapidly

Franks has been a neighborhood restaurant for many years and consistent in delivering
good food for family and friends.

We had a very nice evening for a birthday celebration and I would recommend it.
The service was accommodating, the food was good and the service attentive.

Staff was great as usual.
The Bacon Slab appetizer could be a main entree itself

All items very good, with the exception of a desert - chocolate mousse (bland, not rich).

We are never disappointed with the quality of food at Franks Steaks. The steaks are juicy, tender and flavorful! Service was not as attentive as usual.

Crowded but expected for Saturday night. Not comparing to Peter Lugers or keens, but very good dinner experience. Will def go back, thank you.

Don't bother making a reservation. Seems like one of those places that severely overbooks itself with no intention of honoring the reservation. Waitress was terrific!

Sat us in area near door. Every time door opened felt cold breeze. When arrived, Asked for table in main room away from door and was told not available. I made a reservation early in the week. What? My 27 and 29 year old daughters wore their winter jackets.

Great service, porterhouse for 2 was fabulous, as was the prime rib. Love desserts too.

Food was ehhhh, the server was amazing. Also be careful with the valet he hopped the curb in my boyfriends car the next day he had a flat tire and a cracked rim!

The restaurant was freezing. I know it was cold outside but they needed to deal with any heat issues before the opened for business on New Years Eve. Too expensive to have to sit at dinner with my coat on

I always order the Romanian marinated skirt steak; however, it was difficult for cut and chew, although flavorful. Perhaps Frank's should tenderize skirt steak. As usual, service was outstanding.

Would never go again. Horrible food. Completely does not warrant the prices that they get. It is no where near a Luger, Blackstone, Bryant and Cooper. This is a steakhouse that only an Outback patron could “possibly” enjoy. My apologies to anyone who thinks higher of this restaurant but it is really, really bad.

Dependable service & large menu. Good wine list & very good cocktails. Enjoyed the raw oysters.

Food was very good, but ridiculously overpriced. The lower priced places like Outback and Friday's are just as good and include the sides in the price. Not the kind of place to bring the family to, unless your name is Trump.

Early quiet dinner. Attentive wait staff. Food was good (not great). For the price there are better steakhouses but this is a good local option.

Franks was a good restaurant. The food was very good. One of our steaks was overcooked. We didn't say anything or send back because we didn't want to wait. When one of the managers came over to ask how our meal was we told him. He was very accomadating. The dessert(s) and our drinks were taken off the check.

"Best Skirt Steak on Earth" is an accurate statement.

had the porterhouse for 2 which was very good. My dad had the skirt steak which was very, very
tough. If your going to charge upscale prices food can not be hit or miss. You expect consistency in every meal.

One a few not hyper overpriced steakhouses around yet top quality steaks that rival all others. More old school traditional than trendy which is welcomed.

Another well done and perfect dinner and experience . The staff and our arrived was the best . Nice winter setting - love the flame like bulbs outside and holidays lights inside and out.

Never feel rushed and always feel like a super star when going.

We love how there have been great specials and new additions. The Tomahawk 44 oz was amazing as was the service and sides. Eric was our server he was great.

Four of us and a two year old went to Frank's Steaks to celebrate two birthdays. We were escorted to a nice, small booth area, possibly because of the toddler, but it worked out famously. The strip I had was spectacular, others enjoyed the prime ribs and baby back ribs. Alex, our server, was very attentive. Although there were 4 or 5 other tables in our area, it was quiet and nice ambiance. Will definitely go back.

Service was excellent. Food is pricey. Valet was horrible. Waited 15 minutes for my car and was late for a show at Malloy college

We took our friends there it was their first time here and she said best skirt steak ever had will definitely be back with her grown children . Also enjoyed the salad of the day . Everything was delicious . Praise to the staff and chef

PRO'S:
I took a client there on 11/15/17 for dinner. I ordered a Skirt steak which I never ordered in the past but thought why not, there reviews on there skirt steaks were very good and for good reason, the skirt steak was awesome to say the least. The marinade they put on it was delicious.
we ordered a side of cream spinach and mashed potatoes, both very good. We had the cheese cake for desert which was excellent. They gave us the desert for free, I'll explain in the CON'S below.

CON'S

The waiter was very nice but he forgot the appetizers, he apologized and even offered to give us the appetizers for free if we still wanted them, we declined because the amount of food on the plates were more then we could eat. The waiter felt so bad about the appetizers he insisted that we get desert on him.
