Solid steakhouse restaurant. I had the petite filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly and topped with a delicious tarragon butter. My husband got the ribeye which was very good, just a little fatty. The sides were typical. I did like that they provided sour cream with the baked potato. The CA cabernet I had was excellent (Oberon). We will be back!
Frank's is one of our favorites. Often times we forget about it when thinking of where to go and try these new places or chain places and are always disappointed. We always end up saying "Should of went to Frank's" it is always consistent with the food. Prime Rib is hands down my favorite and the wife loves the scallops. They had a Turkey dinner special she loved the other night.
Loved it! The food was awesome!
Great prime rib and steaks. Surf & turf a little small, other than that great place.
It was Saturday, so it was busy. The wait staff was busy, but took forever to get acknowledged at table. Once we finally did, it went fairly smooth. The good is consistently good.... love their steak.
I enjoyed my first visit to Frank’s Steak House. The staff was wonderful. I recommend you always make a reservation when coming to visit. The restaurant is pretty busy and the patron are so friendly. I will definitely revisit again.
Excellent food and an even better valve. My wife and I had an appetizer, bottle of wine 2 meals and a after diner cocktail for just over a Benjamin. I don't know any where you can go for that. I got the prime rib and highly recommend it. She got the steaks tips which was very good as well. The service was OK because we were her last table i'm assuming, since she walked out after us. Despite the service I would recommend anybody who enjoys steak and doesn't want to spend a fortune. Go to Frank's.
This restaurant is awesome it really exceeded my expectations o would definitely recommend this place to family and friends the stellar was so tender and juicy and the sides were great also I would most certainly come back for any occasion
Our second special occasion dinner and second great experience. Low prices and high quality. Much better than steakhouses in Boston itself. The parking area is tiny but we were able to find a spot there on New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day. Service is a little slow and not the best but overall a very good restaurant. Will definitely return.
Great Valentine’s Day Night! Tomahawk Steaks are amazing!
Was looking forward to dining at Franks and really wanted to like it. Unfortunately, it was a let down. The price and service was good, but food was nothing to write home about. NY strip steak was overdone. Prime rib was ok. I wish there were more sides to choose from; at least some type of greens (Brussel sprouts, green beans, etc).
Dessert was a apple crisp. It was as if granola was warmed up and then an apple was cut into slices and thrown in. The apples weren’t cooked.
All in all, Franks is just ok. Good price point for the portion size, but quality was below average.
We celebrated Valentine day ! Was a little surprised that they didn’t acknowledge it ! The food and service was good our waitress was super .Lisa is good . We will come back .
The steak as expected was very good, the scallops were not eatable, tough dry and chewy, The deserts were not home made (store bought) parking is tough but that was expected. All in all good but not even close to a wow factor.
My Mother and Father would have their Saturday date night at Frank’s when they first met in the 1970s. I have decided to revive this tradition with Hope. I can see why this was their go-to spot! Food was excellent and service was exceptional. Definitely make a reservation as the wait can flirt with 2 hours at peak dinner times.
Franks's steak house is awesome!
this was my first time here but definitely not my last . Its a bit of a drive for me but so worth the drive . Service is great, food is delicious, prices are the best .
Frank’s is consistently good, this night was perhaps the best! We had Rib Eye steaks which were cooked perfectly medium with a shrimp scampi app that we had they fry. Our own version of surf and turf. Also, had the onion loaf app which was great! I do miss the little loafs of bread they used to give you.
We love it!
Stills love the sizzler sirloin.
We really enjoyed the drinks and dinner. The prime rib was delicious. The wait staff were attentive but not intrusive. We have been here several times and always enjoyed the foood and atmosphere.
Prime Rib was outstanding. Server was overwhelmed but when assigned a new waitress she was outstanding.
The whole thing was just eh. The chicken milanese, in particular, was dry and flavorless.
Always a solid dinner. Good steak.
Great steaks--some of the best around! The seafood was salty.
Franks has always been a great place for fine food. We have been going there for forty years and have always had a lovely dinner and drinks.
Four of us went for the early bird special and had a perfect portion of Rib Roast. Our waitress was delightful. The Hot Fudge sundae was a treat and all in all our evening was very pleasant.
Went to celebrate my 50th birthday - what a mistake. Service was shockingly slow and very RUDE! After waiting over a half hour the food was delivered COLD! Never saw the waitress until she brought the bill. I will say the steaks are very inexpensive, but not worth it when the meal is cold. You get what you pay for - go anywhere else!
My husband and I and our two sons have been going to Frank's for several years now and it is always a treat. Myself and one of my sons has celiac disease and they have many options that are gluten free or can be made gluten free and we have never had a problem dining there. I would highly recommend Frank's to anyone looking for a great steak at a great price!
Prime rib was all fat. Filet was overcooked. Food was served either luke warm, some even cold. Service was rushed. Had heard great things but was extremely disappointed
I went to Frank's for the first time a few days ago and will definitely be going back.
As others have stated, it's just a good local old-school steakhouse. Good food, nice (if a bit dated) atmosphere, good service, and reasonable prices. The fact they take reservations is a big plus for me. Really the only negative is the difficulty of parking in the area.
The food and ambiance were underwhelming. We came here for a birthday celebration and it was definitely a disappointment. Overpriced and the food was not worth the money.
