Frank’s Kitchen is a small family run business serving beautifully executed dishes in a warm and inviting atmosphere, with a focus on service and freshly sourced local product. FK is a scratch kitchen; everything from bread, cheese, antipasto and beyond are made in house. Husband and wife team Frank Parhizgar and Shawn Cooper, and business partner Farzad Parhizgar, have created a family including both employees and guests. Frank and Shawn have 45 combined years in the business. Frank trained in a Michelin Star restaurant in Lyon, and Jean George in New York. He became the Head Chef at Centro at age 30 and worked with Marc Thuet as his Executive Chef before opening Frank's Kitchen along with Shawn, former General Manager of the Platinum Club at the ACC, who runs the Front of House. FK has garnered much attention and critical acclaim since opening in 2010. Over the past 6 years,Frank’s Kitchen has become that rare article: both a neighbourhood gem and a destination restaurant.

The food was outstanding and the service was polished and friendly. The off list wine suggestion was spot on. The room is attractive but we were seated at the backof the restaurant beside the opening where the wait staff went in and out of the kitchen area. It was somewhat distracting. I look forward to my next meal there.

What a great meal from start to finish! Fresh, light but rich, unique dishes. Chef Frank spoiled with two unique tasting treats. Highly recommend.

We have been fans of Frank's Kitchen for years. Having not visited for a year we were delighted to find new menu items and cocktails, as well as very good wines by the glass (the wine list has an excellent selection of bottles too). We shared an amazing seafood cocktail (artistic, and delicious) and had steak (wow!) and fish of the day - really excellent. As a couple we enjoy sitting at the bar but the tables are well-spaced and very comfortable. You will see Frank and Shawn regularly through your evening - they are amazingly attentive. This is one our favorite restaurants in Toronto.

The food was outstanding. The servers were very attentive and accommodating for my dad who has a dairy allergy. The menu was perfect, something for everyone and the presentation was beautiful. Oooh and the bread! Wow. The chocolate lava cake with the homemade ice cream was to die for! And I had the gnocchi and I don't usually gnocchi or Gorgonzola cheese but it was orgasmic!! Nailed it on every level 💗

Been a member for a while, never posted a review until now. This was my fourth or fifth visit to the restaurant. Always a great experience - have gone with friends, husband, and even brought two foodies from Sweden. Everybody is impressed with all the little touches - that are still offered, even after so many years. We live an hour's drive away and this is the only restaurant in Toronto that we make this kind of effort for. Always a pleasure. Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening! We were greeted upon entering the restaurant and immediately seated... The waiter was friendly, helpful and caring ....our meals were all fabulous! We loved Franks Kitchen as we have returned several times and plan to go back again real soon!

It's been around for awhile, but surprisingly this was our first time. Loved it and should have come years ago. It's not a super-lively spot like of some its neighbors - not a bad thing if you want to speak with your dining companions without shouting - but still a good vibe. What's excellent though is the food, which is superior to some more expensive and higher rated spots (e.g. Toronto Life) in the city. We've dropped more money for worse food! Maybe it gets punished by the usual suspects because it's not trendy, just good? We'll go again soon and see if it the experience is as good as our first visit.
