   Dinner was delicious and they service was impeccable. Nicely decorated for the holidays! Always consistently good. One of my favorite places!

   Excellent place to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Food and service was excellent and ambience was very festive forChristmas Our favorite restaurant for a special occasion.

   Franklinville Inn is consistently quality food and service. If you are looking for crab cakes they are the best. The steaks are aged and are wonderful. You will find the service is very good. If you have not been to the Franklinville Inn, go and you will have a great dinner.

   They canceled our reservation in Open Table and eliminated our points even though we ate at the bar and spent $189 + $40 tip!! We are fairly regular guests here and generally have a good experience but last night was absolutely AWFUL! Let’s start with our reservation. We had a reservation and ate here on 3/15. We had a booth reserved in the lounge area however they tried to place us in a booth on the second floor. When the gentleman approached us at the bar to try and seat us in an area that we were not interested in, nor was I able to climb several steps due to recent major back surgery, we informed him that we would just eat at the bar. Moments later my husband went to the hostess desk and asked that if a booth in the lounge opened in a reasonable time that we would take that. After much time passed, we went forward and ordered our appetizer and then entrees - about 40 minutes later the same gentleman approached us to inform us that he could now seat us in the area that we had actually reserved. We informed him that we placed our entree orders with the bartender and therefore we will finish eating at the bar. Let’s move to the bar service - this has nothing to do with the service bar subbing for Tiff (who is phenomenal). The other bartender was horrible and clearly overwhelmed with working the bar on a busy night. She failed to wipe down the bar area, did not offer to replace the place mats (the dirty ones that I had to push towards the bar’s edge because she was oblivious to them needing to be cleaned), completely ignored order of service, and just clear observation that multi-tasking is not her strong suit and needs improvement. Food was good as usual but the service treatment from the table to the bar area just ruined the entire evening. The girl working the service bar for Tiff was doing a great job and she did help us when we asked if she could wipe down the bar area for us.
