Very enjoyable meal. Steaks and prime rib were excellent.
Made a reservation on line and made special request for a booth! Got to restaurant and no booth was available and receptionist said she didn’t see the request. This is the second time this has happened to me and my wife!! I guess we will go to restaurants that will honor our special request, there are plenty on Hilton Head Island!!

Excellent food with ample portions and excellent service! Highly recommend Frankie Bones as a dining choice at Hilton Head. The menu is extensive so almost anyone can find a dish to suit their taste.
Our meal was very ordinary. 4 of us dined and Eggplant Parm, Coffee Marinated Steak, Veal Parm and the Monkfish Special. The Meatball Appetizer was very good. The Monkfish was very good according to the diner. Salads were Mediocre at best. Others entrees were very average.
Had a late reservation but got in early at the bar . Bartender put on quite a show as she was in the weeds but totally in control. Excellent choices of Frankie's Specials and a signature dirty martini with blue cheese olives .

This was only our 2nd visit here. The first time we sat outside. We missed so much by not being inside. Love the atmosphere. The pictures and memorabilia we awesome. Food was very good too. Had a hard time deciding what to try. So many good options. We need to get here more.
We enjoyed a dinner with our son, daughter-in-law and a granddaughter to celebrate a birthday. Our server Carr was helpful and attentive and provided excellent service. The food was delicious and well presented. It was a memorable dining experience.

We love Frankie Bones! My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner there, and we never pass up a chance to eat there when we're in Hilton Head. The lobster mac 'n cheese is phenomenal. The signature ribeye is also a must have. We usually order one lobster mac and one ribeye and share them. This is our favorite restaurant!

We are regulars at Frankie Bones. Their mussels appetizer is great and their meatballs are the best around. My husband loves the veal Parmesan. If you make a reservation, they almost always seat you immediately.
Our first experience at Frankie Bones. Everything was wonderful! Outstanding food and atmosphere! We will be back on our next visit to Hilton Head.
We visited on Easter. I realize that they were very busy, but no excuse for poor food. I ordered leg of lamb - it was not cooked fatty, and grisley. So I sent it back and ordered an eggs Benedict which was ok, but served with fried ham and not Canadian ham. My husband's ham was also very tough. We will probably go again sometime since we live close by.
First time for brunch- absolutely delicious. Our waiter Don was the best!
More like a tourist trap. Over priced and over rated. Like most restaurants in Hilton Head island, they have paid handsomely to sites for promoting their business. Staff doesn't even make eye contact. They don't care about service. I went during non peak hours with my family. I ordered the prime rib and after about 20 minutes the waiter tells me that they are out of prime rib. I ended up ordering the coffee crusted rib eye instead. The steak was priced around $29. Although the steak was decent it wasn't worth $29. I would rather eat steaks from Outback's kids menu.
The food didn't even come together. Like how do you not bring kids sliders with the rest of the table. My kid had to wait an extra 12 minutes before his slider came.
Save your money
Food was disappointing. I had the lobster, filet and pork combo. Lobster was good, but the beef and pork was very salty. The wedge salad had no blue cheese in the dressing and tasted of vinegar. The prime rib had a smoked flavor.
Good overall experience
Terrible experience. Elderly hostess was rude. Making reservations mean nothing here. Food is way over rated, waitress seemed rushed. I think arrogance has taken over at this establishment. We would never go back and would not recommend to others. Many better options in the area.

We arrived a little earlier than our reservation and were immediately seated. We were greeted by our delightful waiter Adam. He cheerfully took our drink orders and answered any questions we had about the menu choices. This restaurant has a really cool vibe especially for those of us who grew up in the Sinatra era. Our table of six all loved our food - chicken Parmesan is delicious and enough food for two, veal Marsala was excellent and the signature ribeye was fantastic! Make sure you leave room for the carrot cake- but make sure you share it as it is a very generous serving. Can you tell- we love Frankie Bones!
Hostess station was not very inviting when we told them we booked through open table. This restaurant is patronized by the over 70 crowd and the restaurant knows this, so they cater to the happy hour/small plate crew. Our reservation was for 5:45 due to health reasons. This was the first available time after happy hour because we didn't want to be cast into that scene. After passing several nice tables, we were offered a table close to the wait station, out of the main dining area. We declined and were offered a second table (booth) next to the same wait station. We accepted since it was on the edge of the main dining area. As soon as I sat my 6'3" frame down, I realized that they over-allocated the booth space behind me, and short changed our booth. So as not to ruin my wife's experience, I didn't say anything further. We both ordered cosmo's and wine and prime rib. Obviously, the small portion should have read "thin" portion. It was fatty and I had to ask for an upgrade to my knife. The first knife was very light and had no teeth, but the upgraded version was much heavier and worked just fine. Our server was excellent, but management needs to take a look at their operations. Quality has suffered since our last visit.
We have been to Frankie Bones several times since January 3rd. We are never disappointed with food, service, or any other aspect of this restaurant. It continues to be our favourite spot on the Island.

Don, our server, was impeccable in his attentiveness. Our meals were well-prepared and delicious. We were seated as two in the Boardroom. When we arrived, there was a table of 8 and a table of 6. The 8 had finished their meals and were lingering over cocktails. The more they drank, the louder their conversation became. The 4 women in the group were particularly obnoxious. It was not pleasant for us and another couple, who arrived after us, were also clearly put off. We did not complain at the time, as it would only have created more awkwardness. I accept that it was St. Patrick’s Day, a time for celebration that can bring on boisterous behaviour. In such cases, would it not have been better for the management to keep the Boardroom for seating of groups of 6 or more people, so that couples could be spared the noise?
It occurred to me, as we left, that the loud group of 8 was continuing to order and consume more cocktails, something that could heighten the owner’s liability.
Again, the meal and service were first rate. When we come again, we will be certain to request that we not be seated in the Boardroom.
Just ok, steak was very fatty, drinks were ok, key lime pie was delicious but skimpy slice and whipped cream was too liquidy. Was very excited to experience this well rated restaurant but left disappointed.
