The Studio, An Artistic Dining Experience
Great food with excellent service. John was terrific and we will be back.
Don't get the veal parmigiana. The veal was tough and almost inedible. The salmon Oscar was excellent, the salmon was well cooked. This is the first meal we have had at Frankie Bones that was not up to their standards.
It was the first time we had been to Frankie Bones restaurant. It was suggested by the concierge’s at our Hotel. The food was excellent, service was excellent, the ambience was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for any type of outing with family, friends or a get together with other couples.
The cocktail I got was great (I got the not your grandma's cider) the waitress was nice only real issue I had was her taking a while to return with drinks and what not. But I got the new york brick steak with the stuffed shrimp and mashed potatoes, while the steak was okay and so were the shrimp and potatoes it wasn't worth the $30 price tag the steak has.
We were meeting friends and found the noise level made talking tough, however the food arrived in a timely manner and we all enjoyed our food. Service was a bit slow, it was a very busy Friday night, but overall, we had a good experience and will surely return.
Good service and all entrees were very good-steak, pasta, and dessertq
I ordered the filet which was over cooked. Sending it back would have prevented me from eating at the same time sa the rest of my party,so I accepted it without mention to the waiter (who was wonderful). It was okay.
Attentive service from Don.
Food is consistently good. Service is also consistently good. Sat in the back room, so noise was not an issue as it sometimes is in the front part of the restaurant.
Only request is a green vegetable on early bird specials. It seems as if it’s always a potato
It's our favorite place when we're in Hilton Head. Good food. Good prices. Good ambience.
It's hard to image a better dining experience that eating at Frankie's. Great food, great service at an affordable price. Keep up the great work. Gene
We eat there quite often. The food is consistently good and the service is always great!
Food, service and ambiance were all superb. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food & great service from Nicole. Our party really enjoyed ourselves.
Excellent Mussels, Excellent Escargot
Fun atmosphere, great food and menu selections, the servers were prompt and attentive. We were a party of 6 with 2 teenagers and everyone agreed it was top notch. Reservations are recommended.
Always a favorite!! We lived in the area for ten years and moved away three years ago. We visit every time we visit!!
Waitress was great and my wife and step dad had great meals. I ordered the cheese sliders and my burgers were super well done. I sent those back but everything else was good and I will go back again soon.
I usually love Frankie Bones so I chose it for my anniversary and let them know that it was an anniversary. We were seated right outside the kitchen so we could watch them cut bread all night and go back and forth. We did get an anniversary cheesecake that was very nice. I love the pork chops when they are offered so thought I'd get a good meal if I ordered the grilled pork tenderloin (pork chops were a special but were stuffed and not what I wanted). The tenderloin was dry and appeared to have been cooked too long - not what I was expecting. The tenderloin was not tender at all! And I thought it would have been grilled right before serving but that did not appear to be the case. I was very disappointed overall. I will go back only because of prior good experiences.
We had an early dinner with 4 people. Even the finickiest eater found something on the menu that was to her liking, and she said it was delicious (the spaghetti squash with vegetables). Our waiter, Adam, was attentive and delightful. We'll be back!
Large menu with many different dishes as well as time honored ones. We will return next time to try multiple appetizers. The entrees were large and we both took home enough for another dinner. My wife loved her spaghetti with little neck clams. I loved my breaded pork cutlet with cheese and ham 7on top.
The food was delicious. It was our second time there and we will definitely go again. The service was excellent!
Open late, extensive menu from snacks to entrees. Perfect fo after movie.
Great New year's Eve dinner for 3 couples. Adam was great
Never a disappointment at FB's!!!! Billie was a super waitress. Food was great as always......you can count on your visit being a sure thing! Wonderful menu with enough variety to meet everyone's taste.
Even though it was New Year"s Eve, we were taken at our reserved time, food and service was outstanding! We go frequently to Frankie Bones and we are NEVER disappointed.
I have memorable dinners here when visiting HHI in the past. I was so excited to be dining here New Year's Eve. Disappointed! Appetizer cold. My meal of spaghetti and meatballs was cold and bland. Returned it and received the same lukewarm and bland. The Caesar Salads we ordered had a strange dressing taste. I just gave up as my husband's salmon was good and he was finished. My meal was comped but I was so disappointed. Hoping it was just a bad night?
The food was great, but in typical Hilton Head Island fashion, the service was unbearable.
Always a favorite
Great food and service
Took out of town guest to Frankie Bones. Despite having a reservation, we waited for 15 minutes in the very crowded ante room. Seating for six was rather cramped in a booth. The salads were very good, especially the Ceasar. Their Mac n Cheese is excellent as well as the coffee rubbed ribeye. Service was very attentive at first, but slow. Drinks arrived after salads despite being ordered 10 minutes before. Then a 15 minute wait after salads cleared. Meals arrived then waitress disappeared for 10 minutes despite people needing flatware or missing side. This was disappointing because service is typically excellent.
Food-excellent, as always! Service-could have been better😟. Server spent too much time talking with a couple at another table and then continued in this manner every time their table was passed. Finally had to flag down the server to get a second drink after having an empty glass for most of the meal.
We were in the booth next to a wall behind the bar. We felt closed in and it was loud. Wait staff was great, food was great as always. Wish we had been seated someplace better.
Ordered strip steak and had to send back. It was so tough I could not chew it. Replaced with scallop and rib eye hash special and was so salty I could not eat it. I should have sent it back as well but was beyond making a fuss and ruin the gathering with my family. It was unfortunate as we went here a few years back with friends and had a good meal. In the end paid for something I should not have. Not sure I’d chance going back.
