   I would have scored the food higher but my focus was on that of the poor service and so our experience falling sub standard. All the staff walk around like they’ve never met each other before. They struggle to understand a simple instruction of a dash of sprite in a wine and brought out a glass of lemon water. They stand around and watch you eat looking for your reaction. I felt a bit uncomfortable at one point but when i looked up this particular staff member looked away promptly. Not a smile in sight and considering the cost of the bill at the end and the ‘expectation’ of a tip you would think they would at least be happy. The chef deserves any credit in this venue, the rest of the staff spoil the overall experience. We got the ribeye for 2. Steak was Cooked perfectly, a bit fatty in parts but the good bits rectified it, broccoli nice, chips nice, mushrooms nice. They’re BIG portions, once finished, and we made sure we finished 😂 aside from a bit of broccoli and a few chips we was asked if we wanted to box up the bone 😂 No comment. If you like expensive meat served by miserable clueless staff this is your place ✌️

   My favorite Steakhouse in NYC! The best Oyster Rockefeller I ever had, and a perfectly cooked and seasoned Rib Eye. Also had the potato’s au gratin, outstanding!

   The service was excellent but the food was absolutely terrible. I’ve never been to steak house where it seems the chef is non committal to the use of salt and pepper. We had the truffle fries, they were soggy, tasted like boardwalk drenched-in-canola oil fries and only had Parmesan seasoning, not a bit of truffle oil. The steaks tasted bland, no salt. I had the au poivre sauce and did it have even a hint of peppercorn flavor in it. The cream brûlée was soggy and had a warm center. Normally, it has a crispy flambéed topping on it, but was very chewy. I booked this last minute, and was skeptical they had openings on a Saturday night. There are much better options than this place. I guess if you want to overpay for nostalgia, then this is your place to go.

   Frankie & Johnny’s is a classic for a reason. The staff are all excellent — highly professional and good-humored. The food is delicious - perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked steaks (we shared the porterhouse- yum!) and delicious sides. We hadn’t been to the new digs on 46th street before and while I missed the old-New York vibes of the original space, I found this one to be comfortable & sophisticated (the music choices were great, too!) . A perfect choice for a pre- or post-show special occasion meal.

   Nice ambience; food was disappointing for price point. Truffle fries were soggy; steak was not hot when served. Service was slow, even though the restaurant was mostly empty.

    Post show dinner. Great food and drinks. Roxy and Venus went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable time! Filet was flavorful. Sides are large enough to share!

    They could have made it clearer on their website that restaurant week was over/that it's not on Saturday but the food was delicious and they brought us a piece of cake knowing we were celebrating 2 birthdays. Everyone was very friendly just not the most attentive waiters (waiting to order, drinks took a while, not refilling water). But overall was lovely and I would go back.

    This is a nice clean place that is cozy. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. I got the aged ribeye and it was amazing. It was much larger than I was expecting. The shrimp scampi add on was very good. The potatoes au gratin were delicious. I would definitely go back if I come back to New York.

    We couldn’t have found a better place to celebrate my husband’s birthday! The food was delicious and the waitstaff was attentive and polite. We’ll definitely put this on our places to visit again on future trips to NYC!!

    Very nice service. Our waiter was very friendly. Drinks very good. The 8oz filet was cooked properly, however a little chewy. We expected a higher quality cut of filet for the price.
