Frank & Alberts

Lunch offerings include a variety of soups, salads, pizzas, Arizona comfort foods and daily specials.
We enjoyed a dinner at Frank & Albert’s for their 4 course Valentine’s dinner. It was very high class compared to meals I’ve ate before. It was truly amazing and the taste of each course was unmatchable! This was my first visit and I plan to return for an actual extended stay at the accompanying resort.
Breakfast was delicious but pricey
Had a great meal here on 2/13/19. Hotel was not busy but F & A's had a nice turnout. Service was very good and the meal excellent. I had Scottish salmon, cooked to perfection with an extra crispy skin - delicious! For dessert, an expresso martini, also excellent.
Highly recommend this restaurant. The ambiance here is terrific.
Outstanding flavors, and attentive service. Overall one if my favorite culinary experiences in years.
Great casual place to eat at the Biltmore. The food and service were terrific!! Our only comment would be that we thought the lights were a bit too bright during dinner. When they lowered the lights a bit later the feeling was much more intimate and cozy and we liked it better. Super food and service!!
Upon arrival, we were seated immediately.
The service staff was attentive and friendly.
I had the 3 Sisters Power Bowl w/Chicken. My lunch associate had the Turkey Pastor Sandwich w/House Fries. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. The food was delicious!
My only regret is that I didn't take photos of the plates before we devoured them.
Yes, I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will return!
I brought my girlfriends to the restaurant fir a birthday lunch. Everything was superb. None of us had ever been to the Biltmore and we will be back b
Food was delayed in coming out so our server treated us to a couple of desserts which was nice of him. We would not have otherwise tried the tabletop "Smores" which I posted about on Instagram. They were great! My entree was the scallops and I thought they were quite good. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their dinner.
Always great food and incomparable service!
It was amazing! Great service (caroline?) she was on top of everything "took great care of us" the food was superb in presentation and flavor. Our friends who live in Az were like OMG We so will be back here.
We had this great waitress name is Z, she was fabulous the food was great they were accommodating and the location is beautiful!
I’d give it a higher overall rating except for the fact that we were seated at a dirty table. We asked the hosts, the. The waitress to clean it. The cleanup job was marginal. The other tables in the area were also dirty. Appears they were never washed down after breakfast.
An expensive disappointment. Expected a lot more from the Biltmore Hotel
Food was good. A bit pricey. The setting and the architecture was spectacular. A must see.
We had a excellent tour of the Arizona Biltmore and ate here afterwards. The food -a Brussel Sprout salad and a Chicken Salad were both wonderful-my friend and I split them. Compliments to the chef. Our waiter Zach was very attentive (and nice)!
The feel of this place is terrific, though they should embrace the Art Deco a bit more. Outdoor or semi outdoor is a-must.
Reconnecting with a dear friend not seen I such environs made 6 years feel no more than a day.
Our server Zeljka read the moment perfectly, rushing neither the food nor the check while still being attentive.
God I love the Biltmore!
What a terrific lunch! Everything was prepared perfectly and was absolutely delicious! This is an iconic resort and F&A lived up to the image. An absolutely perfect meal.....
We had an awesome meal on New Year's Eve. Can't say enough about how attentive Fabian was too. This was the second time we had him as our waiter. Have always loved breakfast there but now we found that dinner is great too!
This is a restaurant in a resort hotel and we were pleased to find the food was excellent.
Expensive items for lunch but fun to see hotel. Almost all items could be gluten free
What a disappointment! We chose to stay on property and eat at Frank and Alberts. Big mistake. Service was so disappointing. We could see our food sitting under heat lamp for more than 10 minutes. Finally got food 1 hour after we were seated. Sent back cold pizza. So one of us were almost done eating by the time the other meal was served. Had to wave our arms to flag down wait staff to get water refilled and eventually to get the bill. Had to call manager to finally get the bill. Minimal apology. This property is first class but this restaurant is far, far below acceptable. Will not be back.
This was our first experience at Frank and Albert's and it was very excellent. My husband had the short rib and I had salmon and they were both prepared perfectly. For an appetizer we had the smashed avocado and it was soooooooo delish. Definitely recomment F&A's. We will be back again.
Sorry to say but we really looked forward to Christmas Buffett and it was terrible and for the price was totally not worth it!! Paid $245 and left very unhappy 🙁 would never do that again. Very expensive for the quality. We do not mind paying a lot for food but when it’s bite size and not that many options??? Server was mediocre thumbs down for sure very unhappy
Amazing food, amazing service! We were all very pleased and can't wait to go back!
The Christmas buffet was mediocre at best. very small not appealing appetizers. Brussels sprouts barely cooked. Prime rib ordered by two in our party was incredibly fatty. Desserts were fair to good. Despite reservations made weeks in advance we were seated outside on a 40 degree evening and had to request chimenias. The staff was responsive once requested but they kept interrupting to clear plates while others were still eating. We felt rushed.
This Christmas Day dinner did not disappoint. The menu options and staff were terrific.
We made a reservation for what was advertised as a holiday dinner buffet. What was offered was a sports bar atmosphere with incredibly overpriced entrees. We passed, and went somewhere else instead.
Christmas lunch was poorly organized. The "buffet" opened 30 minutes late and our server had no idea how it worked, so the manager came out and did his best to explain it to us, too. It wasn't a buffet in the traditional sense, but a handful of pre-made plates you had to carry one at a time back to your table. The main course was separate, and while it was a large portion, the rest of the sides from the menu were not actually included. We asked our server about them and she said they were all out; it was 2pm and there's no way this had happened. She came back out with a small plate of sides for our ENTIRE table to share. Have you ever tried sharing mac & cheese with 4 other people? The food was good enough, but our drinks (including water) were never refilled and we had to grab servers each time to clear the abundance of plates on our table to make room for more.
The food was good enough, but I would never return here for a holiday meal that seemed like no one knew how the process worked.
The Biltmore is a grand hotel filled with history. The lobby is beautifully appointed but the restaurant fell short in my opinion. The staff was very friendly but they had trouble finding our reservation (then told Open Table we did not show up), we thought we were coming in for the Breakfast buffet but it was closed when we arrived. Many of the tables outside were not bussed and they do have a problem with pigeons.
The lunch menu was unremarkable and the service was quite slow. I don't know if the problem was that we did not make our reservations through the hotel (and we would have known the breakfast ended early that day) or because of the holiday they just were short staffed. I don't think I would go back for a meal here.
Quite busy for Christmas. Long line for buffet. Staff could not keep up with number of people. Buffet items ran out frequently. No plates until we asked. Bacon was not cooked enough. Waiter was good and checked on us appropriately.
Cannot go wrong with the Biltmore! Such a special place.
Terrible Christmas Eve experience! So disappointed even though they comped our food, we most likely would not return. Poor service, food and valet all stunk. And the hotel manager never bothered to call back. Is this really a Waldorf property?
Great server, great veggie options including OUTSTANDING Brussels sprout salad which was to die for.....we loved visiting the hotel since my niece is an architect from Portland and had not been to Phoenix. Great meal and great site.
Lovely. Visited at lunch. Surprisingly quiet but it was a Tuesday. Had a wonderful visit with friends. Were not rushed. Invited to take our time. We enjoyed our choices (we all ordered the same thing-IPA battered fish and chips). Maybe a little pricey but the atmosphere was great and the place is iconic.
really good food and service, would be good for groups (would not recommend for romantic evening with significant other)
What a gem! This more-casual restaurant delivered on all points. The lighting was ideal and the dining room felt cozy but not crowded.
We went for the special Thanksgiving Day buffet. It was perfect, as not too many choices, but hit all the main items, and every bite was delicious. We were seated near the kitchen, so was a bit louder there, but was also a fun place to watch the staff. Would definitely go again.
We were disappointed at least with the Thanksgiving dinner. It was expensive ($65 pp, not including any drink other than water) for what amounted to a buffet we could have gotten at any other buffet. The food was average.
Our Thanksgiving meal was great! Family really enjoyed the meal and the staff.
Good, creative food, excellent service. A nice quiet lunch for 6. Everyone enjoyed their food and our server was friendly and attentive. Only quibble: servers should say when the gratuity is included in the bill.
