Francobollo
Awesome as always. Food, service, ambiance are always terrific!
Food was ok my pasta was to much al dents to the crunch! Nothing to talk about. And the service was not that great to much waiting in between! The waiter seem confused had to ask what kind of wine I was having and asking other clients around other stuff he he was forgetting! And by the end I had asked for my bill did not want to wait any longer. He did not even offer any suggestion for dessert or coffee. No great customer service.
Loved it great experience the food was fantastic and service was very attentive. Will return again.
Great food with high quality friendly service. The ambiance adds to a very enjoyable evening. We look forward to our next dinner.
Amazing restaurant will be back soon . Service, food and ambience on point!
Food is great!! Tables are just too crammed together! Everything else was great! Will go back
Very noisy
Patrick was a very friendly and welcoming host.
Food, service and ambience all excellent.
Not one bad thing I can say the food was EXCEPTIONAL. Service was great and the waiter comped pur dessert for pur Anniversary very unexpected.
Crap food. Uncooked pasta.
Reliably delicious and enjoyable- excellent in every respect
Delightful Evening..Nice Ambiance, Great food, great service, nice vibe
As a long time customer of Terra and Sarpa my expectation was high and Francobollo met it. The wine, calamari and main courses were very good. I will return.
As always another perfect meal. The food is terrific. The service is first rate. You are treated like family. Highly recommended.
Christmas dinner with friends.
Excellent service. Our server (Zvi) was fantastic and the food lived up to high expectations. Love this restaurant and we will return.
Wonderful evening celebration of major academic milestone for one of our kids. So very specially evening , great wine.
We have been here once before and this time the food was not good. It was tasteless.
Excellent restaurant. Service was perfect. Food was absolutely delicious. A little pricey for a
Amazing every time
Excellent food and very attentive and courteous service.
Never disappoints!
We shared the gnocchi which was unbelievably delicious it melts in your mouth . Unlike other gnocchi it was made with Ricotta .Main courses my wife had the Veal scallopini which was cooked superibly soft and just the right spice just excellent I had the eggplant and zuccini parmescian , the dish was very well prepared I felt it was lacking a little spice (ie pepper or salt ) which would of made it perfect . We shared the pistachio cheese cake which was true treat for our taste buds, rich and favourable. Our waiter was excellent kept our glasses full of water, explain the menu was attentive and very pleasent.
Wine I felt was a little over price $14 $15 for 6oz glass
Overall great experience.
Small portions, sea bream was tasteless. Restaurant is beautiful, service was well paced.
Who knew that this place existed.
Fabulous Italian food.
The salmon special was perfectly cooked and tasty and the veal was awesome.
Truly a gem.
Staff most attentive and pleasant...food doesn’t disappoint, but makes evening memorable!
As good as ever!!!
It’s convenient but nothing special
Food was very good only to be topped by the service! Nice contemporary decor, casual environment
Best neighborhood find. Always reliable for excellent service, cozy atmosphere with great energy and vibe, and great food.
The staff was very knowledgeable and eager to please, the food was delicious!
This restaurant is upscale, but the fare is worth it, and the service is very good. Tony was both attentive and entertaining.
One caveat would be the wine list which was quite expensive, with only one wine at $50 and the rest a lot higher.
Francobollo is definitely recommended for a special occasion.
LBK
Francobollo is a cool little restaurant on Avenue Road, just south of Wilson. Although the room is long and narrow with a low ceiling the use of a mirrored ceiling, light colored walls and white furniture make the ambience cosy and pleasant. I had a good view of the kitchen and it was entertaining to see the chefs busy at work. The menu is interesting with lots of choice. I had the sea bass which was cooked to perfection while my wife had a lobster pasta dish which was authentic and delicious. I recommend this restaurant which is a little pricey. The team know exactly what they are doing and I think you will enjoy your visit.
Amazing service and food. Will definitely go back & would highly recommended .
Not impressed with the service, food or value. Decor is pleasing. $7.50 for a medium sized bottle of mineral water is insulting.
The food is consistently fantastic!
In addition to their normal Canadian Burrata, they had an Italian Burrata as well... They were both great - however the Italian was out of this world smooth and tasty!!
The staff are outstanding as is the food!!!
The food is fresh - delicious!! Well made with very good ingredients!!!!
Food was expensive and mediocre. Service was good.
Reserved at the last minute. Food was wonderful. We had the garbage salad which had the most wonderful textures and flavours and the grilled Orata. Patrick served us and he was extremely attentive. Good selection of wines however limited “by the glass” selection.
Because it is a small space it was extremely noisy. The food was prepared well and taste was good. It was my birthday and they treated me to the desert.
I took a friend for a birthday lunch on the recommendation of my sister. The ambience is quiet and charming. What a pleasant change to be able have a conversation with your guest and not have to shout over “background”music. The service was excellent and we loved the food. I’ll definitely be returning.
