Franco Italian Bistro Ratings and Reviews
Everyone seemed nice when came in. Waiter came over & we asked him for bread and he said sure and never returned with it. Took our drinks order and brought out. Then took our food order and brought out. A waitress came over and asked us if we wanted MORE bread and I said we never received out first request. She said didn't you get some bechetta and we said NO. Then she brought us both. When food was brought to us one of the orders was done wrong. And My husband asked for some linguini with his and it didn't come. Even though the waiter said it would be extra and we agreed to pay for it. It was not a memorable experience and we will not frequent this place again.
Phenomenal. Easily the best classic Italian meal I've enjoyed in this part of Florida. Very professional staff and superb food. The only complaint I had was that the owner insisted on smoking at the restaurant entrance which detracted from our dining experience. We don't like tobacco flavors with our food.
We enjoyed our meal so much that we made a reservation in two days to bring another couple. We enjoyed that meal also! I had egg plant and angle hair pasta. They were both delicious! I was amazed that the angle hair was served al-dente, just the way I love it.
We always love Franco’s & every time we bring friends or family there they feel the same. Never a disappointment. We had family visiting & our 92 yr old Janet wanted to go there. We gave her the choice of many places & she picked Franco. Everyone was extremely happy with everything! Delicious always!
We've dined here many times over the years. The food is usually delicious and very consistent. On our last visit the fish wasn't hot and the pasta was undercooked. The waitress was in a rush and kept interrupting us every time she came to the table. She also gave our check to another table and vice versa. We sat outside and the music was loud and not their usual genre. Not our most enjoyable dinner there and at that price point, paying the bill smarts a bit more when they have an "off" night.
The service was very friendly and attentive at both the bar and in the restaurant. We enjoyed the generous drinks and delicious pizza as a before dinner appetizer and then moved on to a more than ample Summer menu which provided a fabulous salad or soup followed by portions that were both yummy and could not be finished.
It was great experience.
I have dined quite a bit there and noticed in the last several months food quality has changed for the worse, which is very disappointing and owner can be very obvious in front of a customer when speaking to their staff on rushing a table . Very disappointed in the last few outings there.
A really good Italian restaurant with both inside and outside dining. We arrived early and were promptly seated but I would mention that we were first offered the worst table in the restaurant when others were available. After turning that one down, we were seated at a good table without any fuss. Prompt service and very good food, which came from their summer menu. Prices are very good and we received a full plate of food; both the salmon and sole were splendid. We are not wine experts but our wine by the glass was quite good.
We intend to be regulars in the future. BTW, I just moved to Wellington from Boston and I know good Italian food. It is not at the top compared to Boston's best but it is still quite good.
