Everything was amazing. Great food great service.
I was a little nervous about coming on Valentines Day and having a set menu, but they killed it! Everything from the start was perfectly executed. The biscuits, the sweet and savory soup, the scallops and pasta, the beef with all the amazing sauces and dessert was perfect! Franck’s never disappoints. Always an unforgettable meal!
My wife and I had a terrific Valentine's Day dinner at Franck's, and I highly recommend the place.
The scallops were wonderful, the sun-dried tomato soup was amazing, and the service was absolutely outstanding.
The lighting kept flickering, and I don't believe it was designed that way, so just a bit distracting.
My wife's Manhattan was tender, cooked perfectly, and tasted wonderful. Mine was over-done, a little tough, and tasted sub-par compared with Sizzler.
The dessert was pretty good, but far from my favorite.
The noise level was WAY HIGH, and the server at the next table didn't help. His voice was so loud that we couldn't talk or hear anything the two minutes he was explaining the menu to the folks at the adjacent table. Then three minutes later, he repeated all of this at the table on the other side of us...so irritating. Tracy's voice, in contrast, was kind, and she spoke to us so that she could easily be beard without raising her voice. In fact, Tracy was an absolutely terrific server in many ways.
In the end, definitely NOT worth $180.
The menu and and the price at end $256.00 was very poor value . we do not beef number one two the fish entree was also unacceptable. Had I have know we would not made reservations.. Over all poor quality for the price, very disappointed
My husband and I went to Franck’s for our anniversary. We had a great time our server was very personable and accommodating. The food was delicious * I also liked that you can book your reservation on line and they call to confirm. Would highly recommend Franck’s. Thank you for an amazing evening. Selena and Todd
Franck's never disappoints. Reliably consistent, attentive service and truly artisanal dishes/presentation.
Great experience all throughout the evening. We were seated as we arrived, the ambiance, quality of menu/food and service was outstanding.
Best small restaurant in the Salt Lake Valley. Tuesday's tasting menu wasn't available this week so we chose the tomato pie, soup, and salmon entree; everything was perfect, as it always is at Franck's. Best head chef; best manager, best kitchen and wait staffs and best close-in parking. We live in Harvard-Yale and drive the hour round trip to Franck's every week we're in town and that would be over a hundred and fifty times in the last seven years. We LOVE this place!
Too many flavors overwhelmed good core dishes. Seemed like the chef could not decide and added everything to each dish. Also ver expensive. A good pizza or burger place would more enjoyable
The afternoon prior to our evening reservation we needed to add 1 more to our party of 4 and they were very accommodating. Initially they said no, because they were booked, but called us back and were able to make it work for us.
If you have an opportunity to dine at Franck’s don’t miss it.
Love coming to Franck's. Food is always consistently FANTASTIC. Service is outstanding. Thanks and will be back again!
The fondue is the best around! I would go there just for that. I had the Grouper and it was excellent. My husband swears by the fried chicken.
Great find, since we're newer to the area.
Birthday with friends
Dinner with the girls. Mike is so hospitable and Blake is a top notch server. The fondue is the absolute
Best at Franck’s!
The weekly tasting menu never disappoints. Always exciting to see what Rob is Brewing up in the kitchen. Excellent service always.
Best small restaurant in the entire Salt Lake Valley. Robert Perkins, Franck's head chef, will knock your socks off with beautifully conceived and plated masterpieces. Our personal favorite is 'Tuesday's Tasting Menu' but you just can't miss with anything on this eclectic menu.
Kitchen and wait staffs are outstanding. Add the appeal of a 'garden' approach into the building, valet parking thirty feet from the front door, and a caring manager that will escort you to your table. We live thirty minutes away from Franck's, a block from East High. We have many fine restaurants within a mile of our home yet we choose this one. Must be a reason.
And a final personal note: we love ya Mikael.
Franck's is great for a special occasion. We went there for our wedding anniversary. It is rather pricey but the food is so wonderful! The bottle of wine was $50 and $10 for a glass, but, hey, it was a special occasion and we had great friends with us! Our server was especially helpful with the wine, and also our selection of food. She had a great sense of humor and was very attentive. We had a table next to the fireplace so the ambiance couldn't be beat. I was surprised how casually everyone was dressed for such an upscale place, but I guess that's just my age showing!
Lovely atmosphere. Great wait staff! Food was amazing!!!
I reserved a table by the window for a first date. When we arrived the table was unavailable so the manager offered us a cozy corner booth. It turned out to be the best and romantic date I have ever been on.
The ambience was perfect, our waiter(I believe his name is Blake) was most excellent as were all of the staff.
The lamb shank and scallops were prepared to perfection and prices are beyond reasonable.
They all helped create the perfect romantic dining experience! Five stars all around, thank you Franck's!
Great service & food! Loved the adventurous starters
As usual, Robert prepared an excellent menu. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the Nahville Duck was a step above the rest.
Food was outstanding. Service was great. Unpretentious.
We will def. return.
Can't say enough about this elegant small restaurant, but I keep trying! Franck's is located just south of 'Tuscany'; both properties have Mark and Teri Eaton as co-owners. If you don't know who that is - you're not Utah Jazz Fans.
Robert Perkins is the head chef at Franck's and he is a food magician. Ably supported by a superior kitchen and wait staff, we are big fans of anything Robert puts on our table but we do have a favorite ' menu' and that is Tuesday's Tasting'. We've been to Franck's over a hundred and fifty times in the last six and a half years and have never been disappointed.
I've got to throw in a plug for two other major assets at Franck's: the manager, Mike DeHaan and Angie, the dessert chef. Dinner at Franck's is like being served by well-mannered family members.
Wonderful food served by a wonderful staff. Always an incredible experience!’
Loved it! Wonderful service and amazing, creative dishes and cocktails. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion or a nice date night!
LOVE this place! They had a set menu on NYE that was pricey but so worth it! Seriously one of the better meals I've ever had.
The soups are amazing. The lamb shank and meatloaf won’t disappoint, and the pork special I had last time was one of the best meals I have ever had. Don’t hesitate, just go. You won’t regret it.
Had a good meal with the family. We were running late and they were willing to accommodate us despite being pretty busy. Menu was interesting with something for everyone. Service was excellent and prompt. Food was presented and served appropriately. Loved the Brussel sprouts. Overall nice experience would visit again
First time at Franck’s. Lovely atmosphere and unique and delicious food. Fun for a special get together.
we waited an hour an during that time we ate some focaccia bread. We were told that the kitchen was overwhelmed, and that another cook had arrived. We then got out salad and soup. It seems that they knew how many reservations they had, and should have planned better. Our experience otherwise was great.
Amazing food and staff.
Some of the best food in SLC, and one of our regular favorites. The Chef prepares amazing specials and fantastic unusual combinations that are one of a kind. Truly one of the best!
Frank’s was delicious. We absolutely love the food, wait staff and the ambiance.
Dinner was incredible. We loved our appetizers (pho-wrench onion soup and beets l’orange)). The pho was so unique and heavenly. We also had the salmon and the bass entrees which were beautifully plated and divine. We finished off the meal with the wonderful Mexican Chocolate cake. The service was terrific and we were able to watch the kitchen prepare our meal on the flat screen Tv near our table. They had a wonderful wine list with a knowledgeable staff. We can’t wait to return.
We never have a bad meal here. One of our favorite go to places!
The tasting menu was excellent - delicate white fish dipped in panko crumbs and deep fried was elegant, tasteful and delicious. The duck with pate was succulent. And the Christmas cookies with milk - well what can I say...Santa would have been proud!
I cannot believe this was my 1st time to dine at Franck's. An absolute hidden gem, top quality through & through.
