Francesca's Tavola Ratings and Reviews
This was our first visit here and we loved it! We had a reservation but when we got there, the restaurant was very crowded and a bit loud so we opted for a table in the bar area, which was perfect. Our dinner was great, the salmon melted in your mouth and the lasagna was delicious. Also highly recommend the pecan pie, homemade and perfect for sharing. We will definitely be back again.
My BF and I made a reservation for 8:00 pm on NYE. We arrived at 7:30 and was told that although we were early, they are seating folks at exact time slots. We found the bar which was pretty small and there weren’t enough seats and tables full of customers were sort of pushed up right against it. It was fine though, we ordered a bunch of drinks since it was NYE. We were seated around 8:15 or so. The server was great. We ordered rigatoni to start and some filet medallions as our second. Portions were huge and very tasty. Overall, good service, good food, but very crowded. There aren’t many good restaurants in the burbs so people tend to flock here.
Food is always fantastic tasting. This time the fillet medallions were all over cooked. Asked for medium and medium rare and 3 out of 4 were totally cooked through. Since we were hungry we did not complain or send them back. Still very tasty but we were a bit disappointed. We will be back. They try very hard.
My experience started off bad. We had a reservation and we were early. We were told to wait in the bar. No one ever got us, so 40 minutes later we checked to find that they forgot they sent us to the bar. They did apologize.
We got a table which we were then boxed in by a large group. Seemed like they were more important as they got a lot of attention.
The food was decent, but not spectacular.
Overall the experience was ok. I was disappointed after the reviews I had read.
If you are looking for traditional Italian like an upscale Maggiano's, this is not the place for you.
We have never had a bad meal at Francesca's. It is a go to place when we are looking for great food and service. However, this time we had a 7:00pm reservation and didn't get our table until 40 minutes later. I will say that the manager on that night ( I am so sorry that I didn't get his name) did his very best to accommodate us. It is due to his attention that we will continue to go to and recommend this restaurant!
I have had dinner here over 3 times and always find the service and food pretty good. Its a solid middle of the road place to eat. Veal is always tasty and the salads are the best. Prices could be a little lower, but the potions are decent size, so I figure its a good value
Absolutely beautiful Italian restaurant with great food on the menu. My 10-year-old daughter made her custom pizza, she loved it, my husband loved the seafood and I loved the pasta and vegetables. Fresh hot bread from the oven. I wish the waiter would’ve been a little bit faster and more attentive. The busboy was actually better than the waiter. Still I very much enjoyed the entire night and will surely return!!!!!
