The restaurant seemed to have overbooked reservations for valentines day. We were crammed into a two top that barely left room to pull the chair out on either side. Both me and my date were sitting with our backs against the parties behind each of us. This did not allow for great conversation since you could hear every table around you. With the restaurant being so busy- there were food runners, bus boys, and servers running around like crazy. This "chaos" took away from the overall ambience of the restaurant. Lastly, we had to wait in the cold/drizzle for valet to get our car. There was a line of people waiting to get their cars to leave.

Always great dining but understandably busy and crowded for Valentine's Day. Food and service were still good. Seemed like their were additional tables set up so noise level was high.

Valentines Day OT was able to get us a table on short notice, so we walked in and were immediately seated. Very knowledgable wait staff were at our side quickly and orders were served in superb sequence. Our food was excellent the atmosphere busy but not too loud a very nice date!

Starting with the good, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. And the food was always at least average, with a few things really good. On the bad, they were entirely unprepared for Valentine's Day. We waited over an hour for our food, making us late for our after dinner plans, and the parking situation was absolutely awful (the valets were so overwhelmed they couldn't keep up, and they just left my keys in my car and the car unlocked in the parking lot). I respect that it was a busy night, and I'm sure everyone was trying their best, but even our server admitted they weren't prepared for Valentine's Day and they didn't even realize it was happening.

I could not be more pleased with my first experience at the Arlington Heights location. We were there for our post-wedding luncheon with a few family members. We called ahead to see if there was a corkage fee for Champagne and although there was, they waived it for our special event! We received complementary apps and one dessert, and our server, Mike, was outstanding! We really felt like one of the family there and they were just an awesome team. Thanks for making our luncheon a great experience!

Really enjoyed Francesca's in the past but did not have a good experience Saturday. Disappointed in both the service, and the quality of the food. I was embarrassed because it was my suggestion for a dinner with our son and soon-to-be daughter in-law.

We brought our granddaughter to dinner for her birthday. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was delicious. It is a great neighborhood place...comfortable.

Yummy Francesca’s salad and salmon with lentils. My sisters birthday lunch culminated with complimentary creamer puffs. Wonderful.

Ambiance was great and we got situated in a very quiet table. I brought a dozen roses for celebrating our long-over due meeting. The staff was kind enough to bring a base for the flowers and that made the ambiance even better.
We ordered "carpaccio rucola" appetizer and one seafood pasta to share. Carpaccio was great and Cheryl enjoyed very much. It tastes great with good French baguette bread and the portion was great also. However, seafood pasta was disaster!.... linguine was soft and soggy showing that it was cooked before we have ordered. It's nowhere near "al dente". The pasta sauce was bad also, not tasty and looks like out of a can and warmed up.
The staff never approached us and asked "How is the pasta" and looks like he doesn't care.
The staff offered desert menu and we ended up not ordering any as we got pretty much disappointed on the seafood pasta. Two cups of coffee was ordered and its temperature was not hot enough and we have not enjoyed at all.
The restaurant is in good size. But only a few people at the lunch time.
There are ample parking spaces next to the restaurant and it was very easy to park and drive out after the meal.
It's a sad occasion as the seafood pasta was really terrible in its taste and not enough seafood in the past, just two shrimps, two scallop and a few pieces of Manila clam that is really small in size.
I expected much better food based on my experiences of visiting Francesca's in Bolingbrook and Naperville.
I will rather go to Francesca's in Bolingbrook, Naperville, Chicago, and Barrington, etc.
I should have ordered a pizza such as Neopolitan pizza and a few other items.
This Francesca's Tavola is of sub standard places and I would not recommend to other Open Table customers.
I am glad there is a chance for me to write a review so that other customers may choose where to go for their money's worth places and enjoy their good feeling of spending money for decent food in great environment.

Thank you very much.

It was great. Out server was amazing. Just a tight seating arrangement and loud with the closeness of tables but I expect it there as it’s smaller venue. They had a party in back room which we were seated by that was loud as doors were open.
