Francesca's is always wonderful. We've never had a bad meal & the salmon is outstanding!
My favorite Italian Restaurant in all of Chicago! When I lived here, visited either Frankfort or Palos weekly for date night. Excellent menu with outstanding service and a great bar to be reckoned with. Have since relocated to the Houston area.
But Francesca's is an absolutely must dining experience in my quarterly visits home to Chicago!
We were greeted warmly by the valet and all of the staff. They were very attentive and the food was fantastic. It was an enjoyable evening with family.
It’s always enjoyable to dine at Francesca’s. I haven’t had a bad dish there yet and many surprisingly good ones! The bread at the table service is addicting. Service was attentive to our water levels and drinks, and food was prompt with excellent help from the waitress.
Menu changes often. Food is quite good. Pastas are not your typical pasta and meatballs. They are a bit different but always very good. I especially love the appetizers and the key lime pie dessert. Service is quite friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. They are willing to change things up for you if you ask. Nice place to dine out on the patio. Good wine too!!!
Very disappointed of this place. Food was awful, service is good!
I was hopping to have a great time with my baby girls for her birthday but she didn’t like the food at all!!
We love Francesca's. Go there almost every time we visit our daughter - a student at UIC.
Great food. Friendly staff. Love it!
A wonderful gastronomic delight My husband has to eat gluten free and they had a wonderful menu. He had the salmon and it was the best ever. I had the Baramundi and it was also superb . The mohito’s were one the best I have had
I love it here. Our bartender, John, is accommodating, gracious and knowledgeable and the live music was excellent as well.
My family was sightseeing in Chicago and decided that we wanted Italian food from the Little Italy section of the city. We didn’t know if we were going to be seated because we thought that it was too close for an open table reservation. The manager quickly greeted us and sat our family at a table almost immediately. Food and drinks came out at a timely manner and everything was delicious. We will return.
Quick service, great staff, and very tasty food. One of my favorite restaurants in the city.
I come here just about once a week. The ladies at the hostess stand are super friendly. Tom is manager always makes it over to stop and say hello. The bus boys are so friendly and efficient. Sam is the best server. Always friendly, helpful, efficient and serves with a smile. The food is always spot on. These reasons are what keeps me coming back. Thanks you all.
In from AZ. We remembered Francesca's As being great but it was not! After talking to other people their service and food has gone down down hill. Our friends and us will never go back
Always fantastic menu! Beautiful dining room have been many times
I love this place! Excellent customer service and great food.
Visited here for National Lasagna day. Service by Filippe was phenomenal. Great value if you can make it during happy hour
Very accommodating service, food was delicious.
One of my favorite restaurants. Great food and excellent service.
I have been eating at Francesca's for years now and they are always the best. At no time have I ever had a bad meal there. Great service staff too.
Love this place!
Wonderful! Sam is the world's greatest waiter and the food is consistently outstanding.
Francescas on Taylor is typically great, but when we arrived, they didn't have our reservation. Although the host found us a table where we thought we could have a business discussion, the patrons were still a bit loud. It was difficult to hear each other. A loud patron is not Francesca's fault, but it's a relatively small restaurant, so a couple of loud patrons can raise the volume quickly. I'll still be a regular customer because the food and service are great.
The food is always amazing!!
Terrific ole to take a large group. We had our family of all ages and they loved it
Prompt service with excellent food. Drink was heavy on ice.
consistently great! great food, great service and a great lunch spot in additon to dinner.
The food was very good. I liked the bread and the salad. The water was friendly and attentive...
Very good food although everything seemed to have pine nuts which is great if you like them and are not allergic. They can leave them out.
Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. I was disappointed that Chicago's "little Italy" neighborhood was not very Italian.
Excellent business lunch! Frequent many other locations, but only stop in here once a year w/clients. Very friendly, proficient service. Food is outstanding. Chill vibe. Quiet for conversation. Will be back next year!
This was my 3rd time here. I was disappointed that I had to be moved to another part of the restaurant. Food was delicious of course. I was celebrating my graduation and birthday with my family. Although everyone did enjoy their food.. I didn’t like the service, nor being moved.
We came for Father’s Day celebrations. I was upset to learn that the Father’s Day discount (dad eats free) was for Sunday’s only. I spoke with the manager and he said he would make an accommodation with the bill. This didn’t happen. I just ended up paying the bill.
Terrible flavorless food swimming in greasy sauce. We couldn’t finish our meals.
Had a great meal as usual!
The food and service were excellent. I ordered a dish with gluten free pasta and it was perfectly cooked.
I ordered pasta with seafood...it was cooked too much, and the sauce was below average. This is the 4th Francesca's that I have been to: 1) St Charles-excellent; 2) Emhurst-excellent; 3) Clark St--food prepared poorly; 4) Taylor St---food prepared poorly.
Always a pleasure. Consistently good.
Enjoyed introducing a friend to Francesca's on Taylor...great meal, fabulous service and as always, good ambience!
The food was good, a tad late but they offered a glass of wine on the house, it was a nice gesture. For the apps, we had the crispy calamari, it wasn’t crispy. The pasta was great! We had Calamerre al Taleggio; it was very delicious. The wine selection wasn’t big but there’s something for everyone. The kids menu is very good. My son had the spaghetti with meatballs, he liked it. It’s a packed restaurant, definitely a reservation is recommended.
I visit Francesca's often and I and I am never disappointed. I brought friends from out of town this time and they really enjoyed themselves.
Incredibly accommodating from hostess to kitchen and servers. One of my favorite places that do gluten free well. Thanks!
