Great food and dining experience. Highly recommend!
Went there for lunch with my co-workers and we had a really nice time. The place was clean and looked very nice. Service was prompt. The lunch menu is small which I like because then I know everything will be fresh and it was. Our server Joaquin was great - and I am so embarrassed to say that I took the copy of the merchant receipt and almost stiffed him on his well deserved tip! I called back and management was so gracious and easy to work with in making the adjustment! Food was excellent. We had calamari, perfectly breaded and fried. Chicken parm for which they made a small substitution for me on the pasta and wow it was so good! I wanted aioli instead of pomodoro on the pasta and it was no issue. The other plates were a Rigatoni lunch special with salad, and two orders of pasta I believe is was Alle Verdure - it looked really tasty and they all enjoyed lunch. We were also served a nice crusty table bread. Very nice, nice background music perfect volume for still being able to have a conversation - will be back.
Quindi esperienza PESSIMA !!!!
It was jam packed when we went due to the Chicago Marathon going on. We waited a long time for our meals but we were forewarned and we were very well taken care of by our waiter with a drink on the house. The burrata was outstanding, the salads also outstanding. The main dishes were average, so so, nothing to write home about.
Still, I would recommend Francesca's highly for their care of their customers, the ambience, the excellent cocktails and I will not judge their food until I try them again on a less insane evening.
Saturday night and very crowded due to marathon the next day. Staff was not up to the task of managing the chaos. Waited over an hour for food and waiter never came by during that time to see if we needed water or bread and did not reappear until he dropped the check and ran. Guy in suit and tie supposedly running things but also did not make the rounds or offer any service recovery. Gave the impression they couldn’t care less about the customer. People around us were just leaving without eating. Cannot recommend this location.
Great restaurant in Chicago's Little Italy neighborhood. A gem: the food and service were outstanding. Appeared to be a neighborhood favorite, as well. Thank you for helping to fuel my 2019 Chicago Marathon adventure.
Attentive service and exceptional dishes. Great place to go with friends.
We are new to the area and picked Francesca’s on a whim. The food was excellent. But the service was over the top. It is not an exaggeration when I say that we had the best service of any restaurant we have been to in years. I highly recommend this restaurant!
The food was outstanding, as always!! We love to eat at Francesca’s when we are in the city.
Good food, not too expensive, but the taste is far from cheap. Service was excellent too. Will definitely be going again.
We were seated upon our arrival! The food was good. We recommend this location to others.
It was a birthday party. They made it very special
Food was great. Service was excellent.
Our waitress Myra was delightful and made our night even more special.
Phyllis is back and that makes all the difference in the experience! Mike G. Assistant Manager is a priceless asset as well. Foo is always top notch and now a new chef. Just great!
Francesca's is always wonderful. We've never had a bad meal & the salmon is outstanding!
My favorite Italian Restaurant in all of Chicago! When I lived here, visited either Frankfort or Palos weekly for date night. Excellent menu with outstanding service and a great bar to be reckoned with. Have since relocated to the Houston area.
But Francesca's is an absolutely must dining experience in my quarterly visits home to Chicago!
We were greeted warmly by the valet and all of the staff. They were very attentive and the food was fantastic. It was an enjoyable evening with family.
It’s always enjoyable to dine at Francesca’s. I haven’t had a bad dish there yet and many surprisingly good ones! The bread at the table service is addicting. Service was attentive to our water levels and drinks, and food was prompt with excellent help from the waitress.
Menu changes often. Food is quite good. Pastas are not your typical pasta and meatballs. They are a bit different but always very good. I especially love the appetizers and the key lime pie dessert. Service is quite friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. They are willing to change things up for you if you ask. Nice place to dine out on the patio. Good wine too!!!
Very disappointed of this place. Food was awful, service is good!
I was hopping to have a great time with my baby girls for her birthday but she didn’t like the food at all!!
We love Francesca's. Go there almost every time we visit our daughter - a student at UIC.
Great food. Friendly staff. Love it!
A wonderful gastronomic delight My husband has to eat gluten free and they had a wonderful menu. He had the salmon and it was the best ever. I had the Baramundi and it was also superb . The mohito’s were one the best I have had
I love it here. Our bartender, John, is accommodating, gracious and knowledgeable and the live music was excellent as well.
My family was sightseeing in Chicago and decided that we wanted Italian food from the Little Italy section of the city. We didn’t know if we were going to be seated because we thought that it was too close for an open table reservation. The manager quickly greeted us and sat our family at a table almost immediately. Food and drinks came out at a timely manner and everything was delicious. We will return.
Quick service, great staff, and very tasty food. One of my favorite restaurants in the city.
I come here just about once a week. The ladies at the hostess stand are super friendly. Tom is manager always makes it over to stop and say hello. The bus boys are so friendly and efficient. Sam is the best server. Always friendly, helpful, efficient and serves with a smile. The food is always spot on. These reasons are what keeps me coming back. Thanks you all.
In from AZ. We remembered Francesca's As being great but it was not! After talking to other people their service and food has gone down down hill. Our friends and us will never go back
Always fantastic menu! Beautiful dining room have been many times
I love this place! Excellent customer service and great food.
Visited here for National Lasagna day. Service by Filippe was phenomenal. Great value if you can make it during happy hour
Very accommodating service, food was delicious.
One of my favorite restaurants. Great food and excellent service.
I have been eating at Francesca's for years now and they are always the best. At no time have I ever had a bad meal there. Great service staff too.
Love this place!
Wonderful! Sam is the world's greatest waiter and the food is consistently outstanding.
Francescas on Taylor is typically great, but when we arrived, they didn't have our reservation. Although the host found us a table where we thought we could have a business discussion, the patrons were still a bit loud. It was difficult to hear each other. A loud patron is not Francesca's fault, but it's a relatively small restaurant, so a couple of loud patrons can raise the volume quickly. I'll still be a regular customer because the food and service are great.
The food is always amazing!!
Terrific ole to take a large group. We had our family of all ages and they loved it
Prompt service with excellent food. Drink was heavy on ice.
