The food was excellent with friendly, attentive service. Will definitely go back.

When ordering there was a limited menu that was even more so as they did not have mushrooms, peppers, and several other items. The drinks were small and not completely filled. When we received our food it was not hot, but rather mildly like warm.

I made a reservation but unfortunate, wr were sested really dark table, even tho there were plenty tables were available. purhaps we were three of us but thete were the party of three vame after us had a table. what is the point to make a reservation. I dont get it. food wad okay and our server was okay.

Over all was good, the calamari was delicious and service was attentive.

The pasta entrees were delicious and satisfying, the servers were timely and unobtrusive and the ambiance was warm and welcoming.

I reached out to the corporate before I posted it here and unfortunately after 2 weeks they have not responded. Due to that I will make this public, while I was there last month eating, the manager was walking around with his face mask down around his chin the Entire Time. Not only is this completely ignorant on his part but he also represents the company as a whole. I cant believe this is allowed or was allowed during these times.

Went here on the recommendation of our Concierge. The ambiance was fine although a bit sterile. We were immediately sat, but had to wait over 15 minutes to be greeted by our server. Literally worst first impression we’ve had at a restaurant. Overall, the food was solid although my pork chop was fairly bland. My wife & daughter had the spaghetti & meatballs and said it was good. The desserts were average at best. Maybe they just an off-night, but probably wouldn’t go back. There are too many really good Chicago restaurants to settle for “meh”.

This is the best Francesca in the group, and they make you feel welcomed, safe and comfortable, inside and outside. The food is consistently good. We have enjoyed our meals there and commend it to you.

This is one of the best restaurants in the Gold Coast. Everything is outstanding but the food is why I go. The pasta is homemade. The vegetables are fresh and the menu changes frequently, another indication they keep it fresh. Since the shutdown, some restaurants have limited their menus or the quality has diminished. Not Francesca's. It has proven over and over to be high-quality, great service, clean, careful and comfortable.

The level of service is always consistently high along with the excellent quality of food. The management team of Hobert, Joe and Elliott, along with Chef Manny and server Francisco make each visit to the restaurant an absolute joy!

It was a perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Our server brought out tiramisu and limoncello shots for us to toast at the end of the meal.

I love Francesca‘s on Chestnut. I have been there several times and brought out of town guests there. The salmon dish is outstanding! The corn salad was enjoyed by all. Pastas speak for themselves. Truly this chef is extraordinarily talented. The staff are generally very prompt and helpful. Outdoor seating is a bonus. This is my go to restaurant in Chicago now

We loved our night out at Francesca’s but did not like the noisy dogs at the table next to us. They were eating from their owners’ table, barking, spreading germs ...

I know we're all hurting because of the pandemic, but cutting the portion size down on a simple plate of pasta with marinara is ridiculous. My "dinner" portion was the equivalent of 8-10 forkfuls. This wouldn't even qualify as a side dish at most restaurants.

Not a high cost item. Been coming here for years. Disappointed.
