The Francesca's philosophy of good, simple cooking, served in a casually sophisticated dining atmosphere is one that we proudly carry over to our Special Events. Our private and semi-private dining rooms are ideal for business functions or social occasion.
View Private Dining DetailsFood is always consistently great. The pastas are flavorful as are the entrees. My wife had the chicken with sautéed spinach and mushrooms and after she gave me a bite she almost didn’t get it back. My daughter had gnocchi stuffed with fontina cheese and it was amazing as well. The wine selection is great and reasonably priced. We go to Francesca’s pretty frequently and the consistent quality and service keep us coming back.
The server graciously had the Profiteroles
Warmed in the oven . Insuring a crisp puff pastry and therefore a splendid dessert .
The mark of one who respects his establishment and it’s customer .
They had a buffet which I was not expecting. A bit pricey for what was offered, but ok.
Went here for Easter brunch. The food was fabulous although the desert was lackluster and the price for children was a little too high.
Awesome food and atmosphere! Perfect for every day dining and for holidays and special occasions. We visit regularly and have never had a bad experience!
Best waiter ever!
The Restaurant is readily accessible and convenient to my surroundings. The menu seems to have shrunk from previous visits. The food was on time, very tasty and reasonably priced. The wine was reasonably priced, and the service was very prompt and courteous. I have and will continue to recommend this venue to friends and family.
Wonderful restaurant. Service was great. Seated right away.
Never disappointed at Francesca’s 95th !
everything was outstanding , great food , and service.....................................................................................................
First time visiting had a wonderful experience will be back. Oscar was server and did great job.
We came for a birthday and enjoyed the pork tenderloin and striped bass. The fried ravioli were great as an appetizer. Wine he chose was a bit pricey ($65 for each bottle) but very good. The limoncello was great as "dessert" and our wait staff were knowledgeable and accessible without hovering. The room was not crowded on a Tuesday, but just full enough so we didn't feel lonely :)
The LaGrange Francesca's is no longer an option and Palos Park Vincinato is ofter crowded and noisy...so your location may give us a great venue.
No mention of our birthday celebrant even though I was called and asked special about the occasion.
I've been to Francesca's many times, but in different locations, so I was happy when one opened closer to home. I especially like their tilapia when it's on the menu, and the seasonal pumpkin ravioli. On this visit I ordered Linguine Mare e Monte, something I hadn't ordered before, and it was very good. s My husband always likes the pasta dishes or a chicken dish. The desserts are really good---our favorites are the profiteroles and the bread pudding, when it's available. However, all of the desserts are tempting. Our granddaughters love eating at Francesca's because of the children's menu. I think they offer a good wine selection. Service has always been very good.
Food was decent service was not the greatest
I took a couple of friends out for a thank you dinner, and we had a great time. It happened to be their "throw back to 1992" menu, and the food was wonderful. We also shared a couple of desserts and had a blast. The server didn't rush us at all and was extremely attentive, without being overbearing. I would definitely go again.
Super delicious as always
Servers come at you at once as soon as you sit down, but later you don't know who your waiter is, because they split up the jobs and no one wants to come back. very strange. They also let people who hang out by the bar talk on the phone. Twice now, there was a guy who talked loudly for over an hour. This really messes with the ambience.
Another great dinner the pork chops where delicious
Don’t like that I have to ask for bread and water.
Valentines Day. Real Busy, typical delays. Still good and had a nice time
I usually go to the Francesca’s on Taylor, but being Valentine’s Day I settled for 95th. I ordered the seafood Lenguinie. It lacked flavor and had no taste. Also it was served extremely hot. I will stick with the Francesca’s on Taylor.
Have never had a bad meal here. It’s our “go to” restaurant. Staff is very friendly and efficient. I always enjoy the experience.
We 730 pm reservations and waited about 10-15 minutes for a table so we had a Peroni on tap which tasted like a Stella. Nonetheless it tasted very good. Once seated we waited too long for each course. I believe the waitress had too many tables. At the end she came with complimentary “real” strawberry shots with dessert menus but never came back to ask if we wanted dessert. Then it took too long to get the bill because she seemed to disappear. Food was good but not great. My wife was suppose to get linguini oilioto with her chicken and had too ask for it. Just not a good experience.
Valentine’s Day was a bit of a cattle drive at Francesca’s. Way too many single tables crammed into the dining area. Movement was limited. Noise level was up. Wait staff struggled with the extra tables and the configuration. Hardly the quiet romantic atmosphere we were hoping for. Food was good but the somewhat lackluster service hampered the overall experience.
We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner at Francesca’s. I had sea bass in creamy saffron sauce, my husband had veal medallions with spinach.. He thought it was superb, very tender veal and the best spinach he ever had. Service was excellent! Nice ambiance, but very noisy, sometimes hard to hear each other. We’ll definitely go back for another excellent meal!
We enjoyed Valentine's day at Francesca's. The food was very good. The waitress was okay. We had to ask for the Valentine's menu. She wasn't very helpful.
Fantastic!
A consistently great place to eat. Great entrees, reasonably priced wine, attentive service.
Feel that the portions could be a bit bigger. Most of the party left hungry, especially the guys, and wished there was a little more.
Food and service was excellent and worth the money. The only downside was how loud it was in the restaurant. I didn't even have much conversation with my mom because it was so loud and she is hard of hearing to begin with. Apparently there was a funeral luncheon going on at the same time. I don't know if there is a separate dining space for private functions or not, so maybe this was not something Francesca's staff could control. There is nothing in the restaurant to absorb the sound, but rather high ceilings and exposed duct work which just amplifies sound. I would absolutely go again; however, I would call ahead to make sure there wasn't an event going on when I was looking to go.
amazing dinner, great ambiance, amazing for families. great childrens' menu, great waitstaff, great drinks, perfect place to celebrate birthdays or a casual dinner. We will be back!
As always, great food and great service. Looking forward to going back.
We have been a few times and always leave with the same response. The menu is boring and the food is ok. We had the calamari and it was better than average. I had the linguine special with Maine lobster. It was ok. My husband had the filet and he was not wowed. The service was great though.
This is my second time dining at this establishment and haven't had a bad experience. The menu has some very healthy options and great desserts.
Great service,good food
My husband and I go to Francesca's at 95th St. at least once a month . We just love going there. Everything is always so good and I don't think there's another restaurant that knows how to make fish like francesca's always so tasty and never fishy, yum sooo good.😃
Love Francesca's but the past two times I have been there, it just hasn't lived up to my expectations.
This time, the waiter was rarely around, we were never given specials, never given a choice of soup or salad, two brownish, ice cold salads just arrived at our table.
$14 for a very small portion of calamari. Seemed much more commercial than unique.
I love Francesca's, so Ill give them another try, but they have changed. I did notice it is now referred to as FRG, so I wonder if there has been a change in ownership.
Great food and great service!
The only issue we had was that our entire section would get cold whenever someone would come through the revolving door. I felt sorry for the table right next to the door as they were elderly and had to be twice as cold as we were.
