Anthony made our dinning experience fantastic
We had requested his section when we made reservations. When we got to the restaurant his section happened to have a lot of kids. So we went to the bar. We were thrilled when Anthony said he could come to the bar and be our server.
Thanks for a great dinner
Carpaccio portion was small and past dishes were not good
We had a small pre-wedding celebration. The staff could not have been more accommodating. The food and drinks were great and Francesca's gave the happy couple a lovely, special dessert.
We had a wonderful dinner!
This is a wonderful place for a good meal. Worth the half hour drive.
Welcoming and attentive service
We loved it, had a great time with close friends. Valentines night, busy, service was slow but food was excellent. They brought chocolate strawberries around after dinner as a nice treat on the house. We’ll definitely keep going back.
Great food, friendly and caring service. Love the atmosphere. Always enjoy the restaurant.
Sara was fabulous food great. There was a kids party that was incredibly loud with children running around. Other than that fabulous.
The food was tasty and the service was wonderful. Everyone was very pleased.
Its a great restaurant. The service is exceptional and the food is outstanding!
The lemon chicken with capers is my absolute favorite!! It wasn't on the lunch menu but they made it anyway! :)
Got very loud
Always ha e yummy left overs for the next days lunch !
We frequently dine at the Francesca's Famiglia restaurant in Barrington. We are constantly impressed with the quality of the food and the terrific service. We will be back!!
Our dinner was wonderful however the wine pour was very disappointing! They used to be much more generous for the price you're charging.
After our Granddaughter’s swim meet and our Grandson’s soccer game we were all hungry!
The only problem was that some of the promotional websites and signs said the restaurant would not open until 4PM even though we had a reservation on OpenTable for 11:30.
We almost went to another restaurant!
The food was good, but the noise level was very loud and it made it difficult to hear the conversation occurring at our own table. Clearly it was a busy night and the service lacked. Our service was nice and attentive when he was around, but we waited a long time for that service. Don't think we would return.
Our food was very good overall and Renee, our server was excellent. The restaurant was busy and he was attentive without being intrusive. My wife, son and his girlfriend each had a pasta dish and reported that they were all very good. The price on those also were reasonable. I tried the osso buco. While it was tender it was more bland than I have experienced and it was a relatively small shank. It was not as good as some osso buco I have had at other Italian restaurants in other cities. So, while good, I would not rate the osso buco as excellent. We had some carrot cake for dessert and that was very good. We also had a good bottle of Argentinian Malbec.
We enjoyed a few appetizers and soups and found everything to be very good. The waitstaff was a bit overattentive, but I'd rather see that than be left to fend for myself with no service. We got there before the dinner crowd, and it was quiet, but quickly got loud, and a bit hard to hold a conversation, it was very busy, but then again, it was a Saturday night. Wouldn't recommend for a romantic quiet evening out, but the food, atmosphere and service were very very good.
This restaurant never disappoints. The food and atmosphere are great. Had food envy for the spinach ravioli. Love that dinner starts with bread, olive oil and cheese.
