Francesca's Famiglia Ratings and Reviews
Good food, service was pretty good considering how busy the restaurant was. However, I was not seated at my requested table and the noise level in the room we were in was excessive; a whiny toddler next table didn't help. Not pleasant when spending over $100 on a meal. I may go back but will not accept a table not to my liking for the above reasons.
Went on Thanksgiving.....been here before....food always good! But, you know what was distracting? The music! I have never complained about that before but it was loud, poor choice of music....Italian restaurant....where was the Italian music? Where was Sinatra? His music is always being played! Just had to say something about it!
The food was delicious. The pricing was nowhere near as high as I figured it would be. The ambiance was beautiful. It was a bit louder in there then I thought it would be. But it's a smaller place that was fairly busy. Not the worse. The waiter we had was awesome (Giovanni). Will definitely go back.
Food and service here are usually excellent. This time the food was not the highlight. The staff were very good offering another option. However, it took too long, was not exactly as ordered and the other diners were finished when it was all resolved.
To their credit, they took the entree off the check. Kind of ruined the ambiance at the table.
Menu selections are always tasty, fresh and creative. Sauces are flavorful without being too heavy. Menu items change frequently so it's never boring. A big plus is that the kitchen will substitute pasta noodles that are different from the menu if you request.
We came for a tasting of some dishes we were considering for a private event. All were well prepared and we enjoyed each dish. The staff seemed flustered and we had to ask multiple times for little items such as refills or dishes forgotten... it could have just been the night. The private event in which we selected dishes for couldn’t have gone off better and the food was wonderful. All of our guests raved about the event..
It appeared there was a single server tending to all outdoor tables. The service was slow due to the number of tables and diners assigned to the one server. Time to place food order and then dessert order took too long and negatively impacted the overall dining experience.
We had exemplary service provided by Joanna and she was dealing with a table of 6 that was so busy catching up she had to come by several times to take our orders.... Everything was great. I recommend for dining no matter the size of your group. The large circular tables are perfect for parties of 6-8, perhaps more, and one can hold a conversation and enjoy the Italian food.
Our server Sara was wonderful! The restaurant was very busy and the kitchen got backed up and she was under control and very responsive to us. She made the evening pleasurable inspite of the crowd. The evening turned out very nice. I will ask for her to be our server again and again!
