A delightful place, with a menu that changes monthly. Great service, fun ambiance, like home but better!
It was Mother's Day but that is no excuse for the poor service and poor quality food. The entire meal appetizer, main meal and dessert took close to 3 hours. It took over 20 minutes to get a dessert ordered (2 scoops of Gelato) and then it was the wrong two flavors. No sense sending it back so we could wait another 20 minutes.
A great Mother's Day at Francesca's. Good food options and great service. Parking is challenging or there is a $10.00 Valet.
Unfortunately had to send my salmon back because I had a balsamic glaze on it and for dietary reasons I could not eat that. It was not listed on the menu otherwise I wouldn’t of ordered it or would have made a modification
We went to Francesca’s to celebrate our nieces’s graduation. Lovely restaurant, great food! I gave a 4 star for food because they overlooked the gluten free pasta, which really makes it unappealing. The rest of the food was delicious!
Delicious halibut with capers and tomatoes , friend had red pepper gnocchi. Our wine was superb!
The Gnocchi was amazing! Our server while made a mistake in the order was very apologetic and quickly corrected it. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more!
Perfect as always!
The food was very good as were the drinks. Our server was outstanding and really made the night, such a great place for an informal meal! I will continue to come back to this place.
Delightful restaurant, good food, great service, but salmon was unfortunately overcooked.
Good Italian food in a pleasant restaurant space. The lunch prix fixe menu is very good value. Good wine selection.
Excellent Cappellacci con Carciofi, & Fettuccine alla Butera! Very generous Italian Wedge Salad - easily split for 2 people. As fans of Francesca’s in multiple locations, this was our first time at Francesca’s on Bryn Mawr & we were not disappointed!
Warm, cozy, consistently excellent. This is my go to restaurant for a gracious experience. The food is delicious and the restaurant staff work as a team to deliver an enjoyable dining experience.
Service was not good. Waiters and bus boys were never available and constantly had to chase them down. Children’s menu was woefully bad - 2 small chicken tenders for $8
Awesome meal with great friends
The most magnificent Italian food, at all times, for all things, including the wonderful deserts! Service is always excellent, food is always excellent, whether for lunch or dinner, and I always suggest Francesca's to anyone who has never heard of it! They love it, too! Thank you!
A wonderful experience at Francesca’s. I hadn’t been here is almost ten years and it was just as delicious as I remembered. The service was personable and knowledgeable and really enhanced the dining experience. The prix fixe on Monday cannot be beat in terms of value. I look forward to returning again very soon.
The service was ok, no major complaints there. The food was very disappointing. The salmon salad was very small for the price and the salmon came fried...not what I was expecting from an Italian restaurant. The burgers were ok at best. Small portions with big prices are ok with great flavor. I'd would not go back and it left me wishing I went else where for my mothers birthday.
Very good food, great service. Requested a quiet table and the location was perfect.
Awesome place for a good Italian meal.
Great ambiance! Really good food. Great service. Will definitely go back!
Amazing specials, especially their Monday fixed price menu!
One of our favorite go-to restaurants on the northside. We would frequent at least 3 times per month. Nothing has changed while we were out of state for 3 years. We look forward to dining here more regularly in the future.
(this was a birthday celebration and the staff were more than happy to manage the birthday cake and candles we provided. Good job)
Always enjoy a booth in the bar area. Always a solid experience and affordable.
It was good to be back at Francesca's on Bryn Mawr. Service was cordial and prompt, the food arrived quickly and was excellent. We had crab cakes and chicken Milanese con calamari over spaghetti, in a flavorful tomato sauce.
Always delicious and fresh, wonderful service, very accommodating to the vegetarians.
Francesca's on Bryn Mawr generally is a sure bet for brunch and this time was no disappointment. One thing that can be an issue at this location is that service can sometimes be a bit on the slower side if they are really busy. This particular Saturday they were quite lite in the dinning room and other areas of the restaurant, so they were really exceptional on the service side. And the food of course was delicious. I think their brunch menu is one of the best in the city.
My wife and I shared a salad and a pizza. Both were good. Pizza was very good. Our server, Victor, was excellent.
We went to celebrate a birthday. The staff was great and the food was delicious!
Everything is always wonderful here! Especially on "Throwback Thursday" but really, at all times it's great! You have an employee at Bryn Mawr location who is absolutely fantastic! Pay him more money!
Love this place in all ways! Ina
Francesca's on Bryn Mawr is consistently outstanding! That sums it up beautifully!
The food was a bit bland. I had order the Caesar salad and the dressing was bland and a few others in my group added the seasoned table olive oil just to add some favor.
We come here before going to Redtwist theater across the street and--like the theater--Francesca's never fails to delight.
it's one of our neighborhood favorites. Good food, well prepared, friendly and attentive service. The BEST!!
For brunch it is hard to beat Francesca's. Great options and plenty of choices, including three different choices of Mimosa's And although the food is incredible, it sometimes seems like they are understaffed as the service is a bit on the slow side. However it is nice to get you in a more relaxed Sunday Brunch day atmosphere
A great neighborhood regular. Always courteous staff, prompt service, accommodating and good food at a good price. Coming here for years.
I had the fish special which was pan fried cod with delicious veggies and sauce. Very nicely prepared.
What a great neighborhood restaurant! The food is well prepared. Because it was Thursday, it was half price bottle night. Great deal! More than attentive service!
Great spot for a date night! A classier setting that maintains a local and friendly vibe, and not too pricey either for such delicious food!
Great quality food, friendly staff and good service. The ambience is unique, warm and inviting with a city vibe.
