Francesca's Bellezza Ratings and Reviews
The roasted potatoes are an excellent choice not only as a side but , if a non meat eater, for a main meal. I am the non meat person who is usually challenged at "normal" restaurants to find
something to eat. Francesca's has an excellent list of sides and thus becomes my place to go when we want to stay local.
Nice vibe to the place, fairly quiet. Don’t get seated by the doors are, gets cold. Menu is above average. Had a great salad special squash very creative and tasty . Entrées were served cold so we sent them back and they came back great. Pasta was a bit overcooked but fish was great. Our waiter was great. Very attentive. I like Francesca’s I’ll be back.
Had another amazing lunch! This place never lets me down! Brought my 11 yr old goddaughter in for her bday lunch!! She had a choice of where to go and of course picked Francescas! They brought her a sloppy sundae with a candle for her bday!! It made her day!! She even invited the manager to her bday party!!!!!
Have dined at Francesca's on multiple occasions, what I really appreciate is the ever-changing menu. Try something new every time and have never been disappointed. Only knock and it's a small one is the wait staff is sometimes difficult to understand. Hostess came by though and really made us feel appreciated as guests.
Made reservations for dinner on Sweetest Day. When we arrived, young badly dressed hostess seated us and then nobody came to take our drink order and we sat for nearly 20 minutes. Left and ate at a place across the street and had awesome friendly service there. Manager did call me, apologized, and asked me to come back, but why would I go back when there are several other restaurants surrounding this place? IDK.....I say pass.
Have been to many Francesca's before. This one was rather disappointing. We made a lunch reservation for 11:30; when we arrived the door was locked and was not opened until nearly 11:40. We never received the list of specials but saw other tables receive it. The waiter was taciturn and borderline unfriendly as was the manager. The food was very good but why go back for the same food you can get at another location with a happier vibe?
Food was excellent but the wait staff was not. Waiter seemed very confused, our party waited for a lengthy amount of time in between the waiters service. Wine list did not have any of the wines we ordered in stock, coffee was cold and sent back. The overall experience of the food was excellent and it was a shame that the rest didn't meet the expectations of our party.
We brought my niece here for her 5th birthday dinner. Sergio, our waiter, was be attentive and friendly and made her feel special. The food is usually good but that night it was fantastic, fresh ingredients in season or something! A great time.
We have been to Francesca's Bellezza several times, and as always, the food was wonderful. Prices are very fair.
This time, however, our service was extremely slow. It didn't seem to be the fault of our server, but rather possibly some kind of kitchen glitch (?), since nobody in the restaurant was getting food in any kind of regular rhythm.
Other than that, though, we had a really nice lunch, and since we all had time to spare, the delay was not a detriment to our enjoyment of the day.
Arrived 1/2 hour early for our reservation and decided to sit at the bar. Still happy hour so we had the Bruschetta Romano -delicious! The right amount of basil and tomato with the creamiest fresh mozzarella I've had. The bartender Leone was pleasant and made great drink suggestions- husband had wine which was fair and I enjoyed a cosmopolitan-again happy hour specials. Got seated at our table on time and Sergio took care of us. He was delightful and also made thoughtful suggestions on both food and drink. I had the salmon with asparagus, sun dried tomatoes, and mushrooms in a nice light sauce. Fish cooked perfectly and it was delicious. Husband had the tilapia special per Sergio's tip and he enjoyed it too. Sergio checked on us frequently without being intrusive and he couldn't have been a better host to us - felt like we were treated like special friends rather than first time diners. He also brought us a complimentary tiramisu to share which was both light and rich. This by far is our favorite Francescas location! Parking is a challenge in downtown LaGrange, but we got lucky and found a spot right in front. We will definitely be back!
As usual, this restaurant never disappoints in terms of the quality of the food and the portion size which is generous. They have the best hard candy bowl at the exit for a taste treat after a
a filling dinner. The dessert menu is especially exceptional although we try to limit what we choose. Very tempting. Excellent lava cake. Perfect location for shopping in LaGrange.
