Francesca's at the Promenade opened its doors to quests in August of 2009, becoming the 19th restaurant to join The Francesca's Restaurant Group. This west-suburban outpost offers guests “simple rustic cooking, friendly service and fair prices,” which has been the winning recipe at all Francesca’s locations since 1992. Our menu features the zesty, earthy cuisine of Rome and the surrounding areas of Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio. An eclectic wine list and one-of-a-kind martinis are the perfect accompaniment to an outstanding dining experience.

About The Francesca’s Restaurant Group: Founded in 1992 by Restaurateur Scott Harris, Francesca’s Restaurant Group has grown from a small, welcoming Italian restaurant on Chicago’s North Clark Street to a restaurant group of three concepts across 33 locations and four states. usually very good, I think our waiter was overly busy. also I had pasta with mushroom and the mushrooms seemed undercooked, woody. it kind of ruined my pasta. next time ill just get it without mushrooms.
win was delish and like I said uaually great!

Met with friends and we’re well taken care of by our server. Food was fabulous and atmosphere was perfect. It’s difficult to find a bar that will make a raspberry martini without the use of preflavored vodka. If you like raspberry, try ordering the Death by Raspberry. They use a raspberry purée, world of difference. I’d also recommend the sea bass or salmon dish. Nice job from the chef to the servers. Thanks

spaghetti day special---filled the hype---spaghetti plus meatballs, crispy fresh salad, great warm bread---sloppy sundae dessert--great fun!

Our waiter was fantastic and the food was good. However, even in booths by the large windows, it was quite cold.

As locals to the area we have been here many times and chose this restaurant for New Years Eve. The food is consistently good and the service is above average. One word of caution though. Unless you want to feel completely ripped off don't order the Asparagus salad. 4 strands of Asparagus, half a chopped tomato and a thimble of blue cheese for $8 was a complete joke.
