Air conditioning was broken and it was uncomfortable to even eat the food. Very empty yet service started off well then was almost non existent.
Great food plus a special treat for Father’s Day; who can resist? Glad we chose Francesca’s! Liked the new wine list.
I typically LOVE this place and always order the salmon. It was good this visit but the portion was VERY small and there were only a few pieces of asparagus as well as the tomato and avocado topping was barely there.... That was disappointing. The temperature of the restaurant was VERY hot.... we were toward the back corner so maybe no air flow????
Always good food and good service...nice place to celebrate Father's Day...
Kate our server was great and of course the food is why we come back
One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Naperville and Bolingbrook restaurants are located within shopping.
Always enjoy meals at Francesca's. Loved the prix fixe lunch for the ladies in the past, but it has been discontinued. My friend and I got the lunch combo, but truly missed our favorite lunch. Hope it comes back! Waiter and staff always great.
Much more spacious than any of the other locations. Easy to book through Open Table. We enjoyed the burrata appetizer-creamy, nice contrast with the balsamic and heirloom tomatoes. Waiter Matt offered nice wine selection of the Merlot. Two of us had the salmon -very good. One had a flatbread- she said it was good. The last person asked them to make the chicken limone which wasn't on the menu but they were happy to do it - she really liked it. We were provided with a complimentary dessert for a friends 50th birthday, which was not good-gummy cookie with ice cream on top, but the gesture was nice.
Francescas never disappoints!! Great food/drinks and great service!!
Francesca's in Bolingbrook seems to have slipped a bit. Sorry to say they are not as good as they used to be. Pizza in particular was bland and unremarkable. Nicely priced lunch specials, but they make up for it with prices for a glass of wine that are some of the highest we've seen.
Their ravioli specialties are always excellent! They are willing to make substitutions to their dishes to satisfy customers.
Sensation as usual. Great food great service and an awesome atmosphere .
Great food, waitress was congenial and efficient.
We always have a nice experience here. Good Italian food at reasonable price and convenient location.
Good food good service
It was a slow night, so there was no noise, making conversation easy. Our server was cheerful - not overly so - and easily answered our questions. He was prompt, but not at all pushy, and he easily accommodated our leisurely evening. We split a Caesar salad, which had a mediocre dressing, but the main course more than made up for that deficiency. My dining partner had rigatoni with sausage, and I had halibut. Both were excellent. Desserts were also tasty. My only caveat would be don't order the pasta unless you're feeling hungry. It is a big serving. I had the halibut, and actually wished it had been a bit larger, simply because it tasted that good. So the food was very good, the service was great, and the prices are reasonable. I'd go back anytime.
Food was good, service was ok. We waited a long time before he checked to see if wanted any dessert.
The overall appearance is not inviting
Great food and service. Love the new menu! Had the salmon salad and it was delicious !
The restaurant had only the buffet!
They ran out of food, and not replenish until after the rush. The food that was there, tasted like it was from Chef BoyRDee or Franco American.
The buffet was left messy, and disgusting!!
Not what my wife wanted for her Mother's day!!!
Well after eating at this chain many times, I can say they blew it on Mother’s Day- not good
Served a buffet only, but didn’t advertise that in advance, ran out of food and service was poor as well. My main complaint is the fact that there was no recourse to the buffet “only” feature at $38 per head...ugh
Mother’s Day buffet was unimpressive. The food they did have was good, but they were out of nearly everything. Clearly not prepared. They had two meats, and ran out of one within 20 minutes of our arrival (6:15). They didn’t have meatballs or many of the desserts the entire one we were there. Buffet setup was poor as well, cramped and staff has to fight through the crowd to replace the few things they were restocking. I’m not sure if this was their first attempt at this, but it wasn’t worth the $300 tab.l for 6 people. We had heard Greer reviews about this restaurant and this was our first time there, so we were very disappointed.
Great time ...good food...very enjoyable for my mother which was of utmost importance
Not worth the price! Very sloppy presentation and disorganized.
The Mother’s Day brunch was very disappointing. The food was equivalent to a buffet at a work function. Even the Italian course options were under seasoned and tasted like it had been frozen. We will not be returning. Very disappointed as we love Francesca’s in the city.
Went for Mother’s Day brunch which was a buffet. The location is nice but the food was okay - for the price there wasn’t a lot of variety offered in their buffet and drinks were not included.
Loved having Mother's Day brunch at Francesca's. Great deal for all of the food provided. My mom was exceptionally happy with the shrimp cocktail and carving station. Breakfast and pasta options amazing. Would highly recommend!
Mother’s Day dinner.
We were impressed!
Wife’s dish was wonderful. I had the shrimp and scallops with linguini in a spicy tomato sauce. The sauce was very bland.
We frequent this restaurant a lot and always order the banana fudge gelato for dessert to share. It’s usually two large scoops. They must have been running out because it look like one scoop that they cut in half.
Excellent food, service and well crafted cocktail.
Teacher appreciation dinner buy one get second free.
One of the better restaurants in the area; service is really good; drinks are good; and the value proposition is high. The food is just OK, however. None of the pastas are made in house; those we had were all over cooked and served with watery sauces. Next time will go heavy on the starters and do try the Secondis (and skip the pasta courses).
Quite busy for a late lunch. Turned out there were multiple communion celebrations occurring. The whole restaurant was rather busy.
Made last minute reservations for Sunday dinner. I didn't realize it was actually closing time. The guy at the front desk accepted my reservation and allowed me to dine without feeling rushed - much appreciated. I really enjoyed the half roasted chicken with a great sauce.
Good service good food
I had been to a different location and loved being able to order the same thing I had there at this location. Our was waiter was top notch. Great experience!!!
Went out with friends and everything was perfect!
Food was very good as usual. This particular restaurant is by far the best in the chain. It has plenty of room between tables and is decorated warmly.
Glad to see that this restaurant was not like the one on Frankfort (loud and tables where too close to each other). Bolingbrook restaurant is awesome. Will not be returning ever to Frankfort location!
