About Francesca's at the Promenade
Francesca's at the Promenade opened its doors to quests in August of 2009, becoming the 19th restaurant to join The Francesca's Restaurant Group. This west-suburban outpost offers guests “simple rustic cooking, friendly service and fair prices,” which has been the winning recipe at all Francesca’s locations since 1992. Our menu features the zesty, earthy cuisine of Rome and the surrounding areas of Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio. An eclectic wine list and one-of-a-kind martinis are the perfect accompaniment to an outstanding dining experience.
About The Francesca’s Restaurant Group: Founded in 1992 by Restaurateur Scott Harris, Francesca’s Restaurant Group has grown from a small, welcoming Italian restaurant on Chicago’s North Clark Street to a restaurant group of three concepts across 33 locations and four states. Francesca's at the Promenade Ratings and Reviews
We had a wonderful dining experience. Our server was attentive and timed the courses for the meal perfectly. The food was amazing. My husband had the cream of mushroom soup and loved it. He also had the veal marsala. The marsala sauce was some of the best I've every tasted. I had rigatoni with sausage. It had a wonderful light sauce. We both enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. Will definitely return!
Every other month my book club goes out to a nice restaurant for lunch. We take turns recommending restaurants and my turn was in September. I chose Francesca's because of the special 3 course meal they offer at lunch which includes soup with bruschetta, a full entree off the lunch menu and a lucious dessert. The food choices are great. I had salmon and shrimp with spinach and capers. Delicious! And the price was very fair for the quality and amount. Francesca's is one of my favorite places for Italian food. On top of that, we had a delightful waiter who gave us quality attention. It was a great experience and my lady friends had a wonderful time.
Great food and service! The food and service was really great. We love the Francescas at the Promenade because the service is always great and the food is really good! The waitress was attentive but not overly pushy with us ordering. The food tasted great, we had a few modifications and they were perfect! We also ended up staying until they closed and they didn't rush us out! Great casual dinner!
Great restaurant with delicious entrees. Menu changes often. We ordered the Pizza dell' Estate for an appetizer. We ordered Barramundi con Verdure, sautéed Halibut, Fettuccine Alla Bolognese, and Rigatoni del Pastore. Everything was delicious. We enjoy all the Francesca locations and will definitely return.
Have been to different Francesca's & am always pleased with them. I was happily surprised when our waitress said they would make any dish that we have had previously that was not on the current menu. Was able to order one of my favorite things that I have had there. That was a big plus!
