Foxfire Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Kevin our sever was AMAZING. His professionalism and attention to detail in our group of 6 was impressive. My kids loved him! Drinks were perfect. We all ordered steak or seafood and each was good, not excellent, but the service and ambiance made our experience!
Overall, an okay experience, but not one that leaves me wanting to return soon. The restaurant is known for steak but also offers a variety of seafood and so I had the pan-seared scallops. They were flavorful but over cooked and tough. My impression is that this really is a meat - eaters restaurant only. Service was pleasant although a bit slow to start.
From the start of our date it was a great experience. Foxfire gave us time to relax a glass of wine prior to ordering our meal. The fireplace added special ambience for our date as well. Food was delicious, great Chicken Marsala as well as Bourbon Pork chop. We plan to return to the Foxfire
We went for a birthday dinner. It was restaurant week, and dinner was an excellent value. Go appetizers we ordered the prime rib bruschetta, it was outstanding! We also ordered the calamari, also very good. I had the horseradish salmon with asparagus, it was great. Overall good experience! Not too noisy, good beer & wine selection too!
I've been here a few times to celebrate birthdays and a special event in the summer. It's a wonderful restaurant, great food, very pretty. The wait staff is attentive without being overbearing and of course the food is delicious! I would highly recommend Foxfire, especially for special occasions. We love the seating by the fireplace. A special thank you for the restaurant for honoring my request and seating us there for my daughters birthday the other evening.
We tried Foxfire about two weeks ago. The restaurant was really busy but we got a drink at the bar till our reservation time came. We were seated promptly and our waitress was very good and extremely friendly. We ordered two appetizers the dates and the eggrolls they were both great. We had a couple hiccups with our entree coming out from the kitchen, the waitress apologized and the owner came right over and did the same. We weren't really worried about it but when the meal came it was missing some stuff. The owner once again came by and apologized and offered us a certificate to a later time and gave us dessert on the house. They really made up for the mistakes by making sure we were happy at the end. Stuff happens in restaurants we understand that. In saying that we will definitely be going back the food was good we just hit an off night in the kitchen. Great place and food! The owner should be proud.
Waitress was not attentive. My tomato mozzarella salad came missing one tomato. Waitress said she would fix it - never returned until rest of meal came and still did not fix it. Food was look warm when it came. Asked for coffee - didn't get until after desert was eaten. Waitress said sorry I got distracted. Though it was two people's birthday - they didn't recognize it in any manner.
One of our favorite places to go to this past year. This time the service was off. Service at the bar was poor which was surprising because it was not that busy. Both servers were inattentive. Several times they acted like they did not see us when we tried to flag them down for another cocktail.
The food and cocktails were amazing. Our server was wonderful and offered excellent suggestions but as the night dragged on the restaurant was understaffed and we were left wanting for dessert and the check. Still highly recommend but the restaurant needs more staff on a Friday night!
Reasonably priced. Very good selection on menu, good sized portions, very tasty. Only disappoint was that they'd run out of baked potatoes and mashed potatoes. That was weird, but didn't ruin the evening.
Only thing I'd change is to sit further from the entertainment - it was a little too loud for conversation.
I'd certainly go back.
Booked an early seating with my 2 Kids and husband for New Years Eve. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The food was excellent. Service was good but a little slow, nothing major. The patio looked amazing. We will definitely be back to experience it in the summer. Great place!
