Amazing!!! Best food and dining experience I’ve ever had!
Foundation Room never disappoints. Excellent customer service, food amazing, great drinks.
Good food but expensive for what you get. Service ok but not in line with the price. View over the strip is nice.
A place to show off. Excellent ambiance and service along with a world class view of the Vegas strip makes this a great place to take a date for a special meal. This special meal WILL wind up costing you a couple hundred bucks though, so unless you're ready to fork out that much, you can eat in their regular area for about half and still have good food and a good time. I'm NOT bashing, just letting people know the difference.
The service was outstanding and the venue was great. The food was only so so
The food was excellent and the service was great. The view of the strip was amazing
Ate here to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. We were very disappointed with the service. When we finally received our food it was very delicious though. We waited a very long time for bread to be brought to our table. The bussers brought out the butter and hummus for the bread and we expected it to be right out. Say there waiting and waiting. Asked the waitress, She said the busser is supposed to bring it out. It still never came. I then asked one of the bussers what the plate of butter and hummus was for (I was being sarcastic at this point because we were tired of waiting) he Was like oh for the bread and then realized we still didn’t have any.
Lastly, my girlfriend snuck off to get them to bring my boyfriend out a cake for his birthday. She gets back and we are waiting again for about 15-20 minutes for them to bring it out to him. At this point we no longer have plates in front of us and we finished our drinks. We get up to see what’s taking so long. We get back and they brought it to him when no one was at the table to celebrate with him. That was really not right.
Also want to add that I’ve never been to a nice restaurant that serve the men their food first.
We had an awesome meal, great service, and the atmosphere was cool yet classy. We will be back.
Wow, if you haven’t had the opportunity, this is a rare, special experience. I recommend speaking to your server about the artifacts in the room, some dating back 8 centuries. The two outdoor views should t be missed from the top of Mandalay Bay.
The food was excellent and wine list fairly priced. Service was outstanding. Remember to engage your server in the many history lessons available at this treasure.
Crab Cake Appetizer was great. Scallops Entrée was good but a little spicy. Would still recommend both. It's a nice quiet place. Maybe it's because they first opened or I was by myself, but, the service was nothing to call home about at all. And, they didn't have any good options of white wine, or my waitress wasn't very good at her job.
My first time in Vegas and it was awesome this was my favorite night. Very elegant, great staff, excellent service, outstanding food. The night view was great while eating. Will definitely be reserving another night at the foundation room!
The ambiance and food is wonderful. Staff is very courteous and accommodating. It is very dark, bring your phone or flashlight so you can read the menu!
Our first time eating here and it was OUTSTANDING!! The restaurant was not busy and we had incredible seats outside. The mac n cheese is a must try!
Restaurant and sever were great. Club was disappointing with rude security. Misleading party advertisements. No review of club Covid rules which may have made you re-consider going. After being one of the founding members, I am going to re-consider my membership. These are trying times but they made it worse by there poor and unfriendly communication..
Return patron to the foundation room. Always a great experience with great atmosphere and service. Enjoy a wonderful menu and service for dinner, and dont forget to take time for pre and post dinner drinks... all with a a view of Vegas like no other!
Service was terrible, our waitress didn't even check on us to see if we liked our meal.
Food was delicious and the views are amazing! However the menu options are limited and sides are additional.
This was our first time at Foundation Room, but certainly not our last. We travel from Ct twice a year and will make Foundation Room a constant. Great restaurant
Even with all the restrictions.
View is amazing, staff and service impeccable; food flavorful and portion size appropriate. Tempura Cauliflower DELICIOUS!!
Fabulous setting and delicious food.
Birthday dinner
We love the views mixed delicious food & drink. Service is always warm and welcoming.
Was excited to try this out and enjoy the view. Filet mignon is over priced for what you get. Sides are priced separate and nothing wowed us. Baked potato isn’t worth the $15. Should have gone to Ruth Chris’ instead. Oh and $9 bottle of beer. I mean they just don’t offer much. I’ve had better meals at a chain restaurant.
A amazing restaurant with beautiful views of the Raider stadium and the strip. The ability to go outside and see the strip is priceless. They even remembered to bring us a chocolate cake to celebrate our special occasion. A definite must when celebrating special occasions.
Great service and great detail in celebrating my fiancé’s birthday.
Fantastic rooftop views and overall nice setting
After having a great experience and meal in August, we decided to have another dinner at the Foundation room during our recent trip to Vegas. We requested a window table when we made our reservation but were seated in a back corner far away from any view, even though there were window tables available. The couple that was going to be seated next to us complained about their table location and were moved to a window table. I asked the waiter why we hadn't been seated at a window table since we had specifically requested one and he brought a manager over who apologized and moved us to a window table. Our food came shortly after we were moved and service seemed to stop. I had to get up three times to locate a server to request silverware, salt and pepper, and refills of our beverages. After dinner our server apologized for the poor service and brought us a chocolate cake for dessert. I appreciated the sincere apology and I realize that the pandemic has made things challenging in the restaurant industry, but we left feeling disappointed, as we thought that we had found our new "go to " restaurant when visiting Vegas.
Despite the photos and advertisements, inside tables at this restaurant do not have a view of The Strip. You can sit outside on the patio but you still don’t have a view unless you eat standing up so you can see over the 4’ high wall but then you will need to have you Covid mask on and eating and drinking may be cumbersome. The menu and food were ok, nothing exceptional. The service was absolutely terrible. Food was dropped without presentation, drinks weren’t refilled, empty dishes weren’t removed. We finally gave up and went elsewhere for dessert. If you want to see the view, go to the lounge for a drink and a fancy restaurant for an expensive dining experience that’s worth it.
Food was amazing. Wait staff was fantastic. We didn’t realize that their restaurant and lounge required 2 separate reservation but the staff made accommodations for us to get into the lounge anyway. I will day the lighting is rather dim so be prepared for that. Beautiful outdoor patio over looking the city. You have access to it from the lounge or the restaurant definitely make reservations.
This is a wonderful place to dine if you are looking for more of an experience rather than just a quick bite to eat. From the views to the history of the restaurant you will not be disappointed.
We went for a continuation of our wedding anniversary. The food, ambience, and especially the service was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely go again!!
Amazing food, ambiance and beautiful views of the Vegas Strip. Definitely a hidden gem.
We were the first diners there. We got a good table with a good view. The staff was lackluster and unfriendly. When we ordered our steaks, they came out medium-rare, as ordered, but incredibly dry. Save your time and just eat at a steakhouse not so far down the strip. The view and Uber/taxi ride isn't worth it for this overpriced eatery.
The filet was excellent. The chicken was a bit on the dry side.
GREAT experience! The Lamb loin was incredible!
Everything was great, a little unorganized because, well everything is these days. But aside from the COVID scatter we had an amazing meal and great service.
Bachelorette party!
Perfectly seasoned and cooked steak, melt in the mouth foie gras and a superb wine list - a really nice dinner with great views. We'll be back :)
Food was awesome and the atmosphere was amazing.
It’s beautiful I love the view I wasn’t to crazy about the Cesar salad, steak was delicious. I recommend
