   We were able to get checked and in quickly. We were given an option to eat where bar and band was or quiet dining area. We were attending a concert and everyone on staff was very attentive for us to be on time. Margarita was excellent. Waitress very helpful on deciding what dinner choices would suit us. Fantastic can't wait to go back!

   Service was ok, as it was waiters only 3rd day. The end of the dinner is what ruined it for me. At the beginning of the night they asked to hold my cc and driver license. Which I've never had to do before, but whatever.Then when it came for the check they couldn't find them! They walked past my table twice before they admitted they had misplaced them. After an hour they finnaly found them. Doubt I'll ever be going back.

   Vip was worthless with a seated show after I called to ask what the best seating would be. Mediocre food and vibes. Dissappointed in Dallas' support but amazing performance Damien Escobar! Too bad we werent close enogh to get sweat on. Jerry, a bartender was the best customer service I got there!

   I took my wife here on Saturday evening. The hostess sat us in a nice booth and then took our drink order. About 5 minutes later a cocktail waitress came by to "verify" our drink order. Another 5 minutes go by and a third person explains to us that they didn't get our drink order yet. After ordering a menu listed manhattan and "good karma margarita" for the third time, along with our appetizers and entree we waited about 5 more minutes for a waiter to come back and tell us that the bartender couldn't make "specialty" drinks and they didn't have any of the crab cakes listed on the menu. At this point we decided to just leave as the service wasn't just subpar it was non-existent. I will never return here and wouldn't recommend it to anyone except my mother-in-law...

   The food was mediocre at best, our server was phenomenal he was very enthusiastic about life and his job, the food is pricey and not cooked well. The ambiance is great and very quit for a romantic date.

   I was given a reservation on a Saturday night. I made this reservation several weeks in advance. When we arrived, we were told it was a private event and we could not get in! They told us our reservation must have been for the regular House of Blues restaurant. Went to the regular venue and were told they had no reservation and could not seat us for 45 minutes. We showed them our reservation confirmation and called for the manager and we're finally seated. Unfortunately, the food was cold, dry and tasteless. Would never come back.

    We made reservations when the House of Blues had to cancel our reservations in the restaurant before a concert. We had a VIP table at the concert and the friendly lady who cancelled our dinner offered me a list of surrounding dining options. We really wanted something close, as we were already walking from our hotel. She noted that since we had VIP tables, we would be on the list for the Foundation Room that evening and could grab a cocktail and appetizers there, then eat bar food at the concert. I went ahead and made reservations for the Foundation Room on open table, even though she had told me we would be on "the list." We showed up at our reservation time and it was quiet embarrassing. We weren't on "the list." They wanted to know where I made the reservation. After I explained the situation, the guy with "the list" made it out like they would "let us in" even tho it wasnt really what he wanted to do. They "let us sit" on this one cozy little couch, all the other empty chairs were reserved. Our husbands stood the entire time. Also, we were dressed for a fun night out, but our men had on caps and this place has a "strict dress code" and they asked them to remove their caps before we got on on the elevator, completely understandable, but we felt out of place and like outcasts from the get go. It was a very nice, beautiful, dramatic decor. Beautiful wood bar. We ordered one round of drinks and two appetizers while waiting to be escorted to the concert hall. The appetizers were terribly bland, but very beautifully presented. When the concert hall opened, they were very kind and personally escorted us to a private entrance to the venue. I feel like we were as happy to be going as they were for us to be leaving! It was an awkard $100 wasted to start our evening. If the Foundation Room is members only, it shouldn't be open for reservations on Open Table. I would hate someone to plan a romantic evening, only to show up and be turned away for not being on "the list."

    The Foundation Room was perfect for NYE! The ambiance was perfect, not over the top packed and crazy, but nicely attended and fun! Dinner service was good and friendly but the courses came out very slowly, esp with a fixed 5 course menu. It didn't seem like they were ready for a mostly full dining area which was unfortunate. It took FOREVER between courses. And it caused the diners to miss the live entertainment. It was nice to finally celebrate in the lounge.

    Great place. We went here before a concert and the staff was responsive and very inviting. No request was denied, including saline :) . Drinks were very good and the bartenders have great info on different drinks. Food was good too. The venue is very elegant and nice little pockets to sit and talk with friends.

    We made reservations at foundation bc we had tickets to a comedy show. We sat down and told the waiter we were going to order drinks and appetizers so we could hurry down and not miss the show. He disappeared for a while, was not warm and friendly, forgot what our food was, and was in charge of all the tables. We waited 40 min, never got our food and ended up ordering grilled cheeses in the concert hall. Someone seriously needs to evaluate how this restaurant is run since it's in conjunction with showtimes! Also, I should add, no one in the restaurant for their food while we were there, the other 3 tables were a little irate as well.

    The menu was very limited for dinner. Great if you are only going for drinks and snacks. Take a jacket, because it was freezing inside. Luckily the waiter brought us blankets.

    Unfortunately there was a problem with the Open Table reservation as they had a special event and could not honor our reservation. They were kind enough to accomodate us but we ended up eating in an empty restaurant.

    Very well decorated and the great sound absorption so u can talk. Food was pretty good but small portions for the price. Service was attentive. Bar area was vibrant. Probably a great place for drinks.

    Upon making our reservation on OpenTable, the following day Foundation Room called to advise they could not accommodate us. We had a number of exchanges with them and looking about for another restaurant near the venue until we decided to just go to their lounge. I was told we could not order off the main menu in the lounge regardless. When we arrived, we again asked if we could be seated for dinner. This time, because we had a connection and a $20 tip we got a table. WE WERE THE ONLY DI NERS except one other table of 4. Crickets chirped in the dining room ( we couldn't believe our eyes). No, the lounge wasn't that busy either. We ordered apps which took forever, then our entrees took 65 min to arrive. We had 3 minutes to eat them when they came before the Angela Johnson showed started. Our waiter was pretty good but he couldn't bring the food. Ridiculous. We should not have even paid!

    We had tickets for a concert event and we made reservations for the Foundation Room. However, we ended up eating in the bar/lounge for the restaurant because we wanted a bit more of a vibrant ambiance. We sat at bar and received excellent service and conversation from the the two bartenders. All our food was excellent and our drinks were superbly mixed. When it came time for the concert, the bartender personally escorted us to the venue. I would highly recommend the Foundation Lounge.

    Always Amazing!! Appetizers to die for! Main courses are all delicious! But the show stopper is the Truffle Mac and Cheese, seriously, Out of this World!! A true 5 Star Dining Experience with that Vibe you can only experience at the Foundation Room!

    In Dallas for the concert at House of Blues. Was a little reticent based on restaurant reviews on yelp and trip advisor. All wrong. Food was delicious, I had the lamb chops. Sides are large enough for 4 to share...we enjoyed the truffle french fries and the grilled (to perfection) asparagus. Our servers were fun and attentive. Employees (I think his name was Eric...guy handing out wristbands) actually had read my reservation and knew who we were when we arrived. And the concert was over the top!!!

    This was our first time actually dining at the foundation room, the food was immpecable and the wine list was definitely notable. We were greeted at the front with smiles and they knew us frm our reservations instantly. Upon arriving at the hostess stand, we were served complimentary champagne. The menu was excellent and the food was down right delightful.

    We went as a family, but were looking to see if this was a place to take business customers. Good start with a welcome glass of champaign. Received appetizers. Waiter disappeared. The appetizers and dishes sat in front of us for over 40 minutes. Table behind us left due to lack of service. Seemed like there was one waiter for the entire restaurant. Dinner arrived, it was delicious. Mixed emotions reviewing and rating restaurant. May try again for ourselves, but won't chance taking customers.

    I don't know where to begin in explaining how bad the service is in this place. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation time and then were made to sit at the bar for 40 minutes even though the place was empty. When we did sit the waiter was a little quirky but we just took it as being part of the experience. Our bottles of wine (we didn't order cocktails) arrived but after 30 minutes we had to go find our server to get them opened. It took an hour before our food order was taken and then another hour before it was served. The restaurant had less than 20 people in. No one really cared about the service they were giving you. When the food arrived it was very good. Go somewhere else.

    This was our first visit to a HOB Foundation Room. When we first arrived we were offered a complementary glass of champagne. At that point we thought it was going to be a pleasant experience but we found out otherwise. Although our server seemed to be trying his best to please us, he was working what seemed to be far too many tables which resulted in long waits for our food. When our orders arrived, only the entrees showed up as it seemed somehow the order for our two side dishes did not get placed. The fiasco with dinner then caused us to be late for our concert which is what brought us to the House of Blues in the first place. We eventaully had to ask to speak with the manager who was very apoligetic and who ended up comping our meal.

    A dim elevator takes you to level F where you continue to smell the incense. It is a dark, very decorated dining room w/booths w/drapes on 3 sides of the room------walls covered w/cloth.If only other restaurants would provide such gentle acoustics. The food is very pricey($40 for 2 slender lamb chops which they called rack of lamb). We ordered a wedge & a ceasar salad(which was good), but the blue cheese was so ripe one could suspect it came on the Queen Mary, so they took it off the bill. The steak was exquisite as were my 2 lamb chops after they replaced the first 2 w/the med rare I ordered. We were not sorry to go-----it is a very unique & sultry setting in downtown, but I would order sliders next time. Service was VERY attentive.
