Reservations are taken for the dining room as well as our outdoor courtyard. The Rose Room lounge and bar are available for walk-ins.

The experience had at LeTour was made better by being able to sit on their outdoor patio. The tables were spaced nicely allowing the wait staff to freely move around the tables. Dinner was served at a leisurely paced without much delay between courses. I had the steak frites and my husband and daughter had the lamb couscous tangine. The beet salad and pate were delicious appetizers. The pate was served with only one piece of bread, which was not sufficient to finish the pate. The cherry dessert was delicious. Our waiter was Dylan and he was superb. It was a really nice experience. Will return.

The food was good, but the portions were small. We ordered the salmon from the prim fixe menu. It was delicious but it could have used a vegetable!

The ambience and service were great. A bit slow but what would you expense from French restaurant? The food itself left a lot to be desired. We are somewhat experienced in French food. The salads and entrees were not very delicious. Mostly sauces were not flavorful like usually in French cuisine. Another turn off was error in pricing on the menu. Pitcher of sangria was listed at $6! I understand that this may be an error but it is listed on the official restaurant menu. The waitress refused to honor this price.

anon- we are so sorry you didnt like letour. although we try to meet everyone's expectations we simply can not. one of our goals is to let guests know (and this is written on our menu) that our menu and food is chef debbie and my (i am the owner) interpretations of French fare. further our food is rooted in southern French cooking which is far lighter than the thick saucy cooking many know as traditional French. also it is embarrassing that we had a type on our menu. the pitcher of sangria is actually $46 and not 6, so clearly we could not honor that price. tho it is on us for not realizing we had a typo on the menu. wishing you the best, thank you for your feedback. amy morton owner LeTour

Hello, The Ambiance is extraordinary: sumptuous hues, textures, lighting and decor. We felt transported. The cocktails were delicious, the wine list extensive, and the dinners: were divine! We will be back.

The mezze appetizer is excellent. Appreciated the gluten free crackers. Delicious tuna Nicoise with excellent crispy potatoes. Lovely Basque cheesecake with fresh berry sauce.

One major shortcoming is everything is too salty. The trout was parcularly so. The Morocan mussel was well done but the soup was too salty. Other than that the dishes tasted great and were well presented. The cocktail special Parisian was impressive. The service was ok but not could be more plesant and more helpful explaining about the dishes to first timers like us.

The fixed price Sunday dinners are a great value and a delight to recap the weekend. The outdoor setting is surprisingly quiet and relaxing. Food is freshly sourced, We really enjoyed our waiter and had an experience that encourages us to come back with friends. A choice I would highly recommend in central downtown Evanston.
