This restaurant is permanently closed. Keswick Hall and Golf Club's award-winning restaurant, Fossett's, features expansive floor to ceiling windows with spectacular panoramic views of the estate's pristine landscape. With only six tables to serve, the service was slow and non-engaging. We attended a brunch with plated service. The omelets arrived cold and less than tasty. The coffee was served luke-warm. Our experience was less than satisfying

Unimpressed. Wilted salad. Mediocre service. Overpriced. Lacking and just not the same as it used to be. Regardless of the fact that the resort is shutting down next month for 15 months should not allow its reputation to be diminished. For readers - We dined for lunch in Villa Crawford, which is down the hall from Fossets, but Open Table only gives Fossets as the option to book a reservation.

Horrible service; very unprofessional. Served lukewarm coffee and waiter failed to place our order. He did not even recall taking it when we asked about length of time waiting and said, “Did you place the order with someone else?” No apology or attempt to accommodate so we left without breakfast. Previous visits have always been wonderful so very disappointed things have deteriorated so drastically!

Food was delicious. Service poor, the waitress was very nice but she never came to check on us often. No one ask if we would like additional drinks or desert. I have not eaten in a such a nice restaurant without a table cloth on the table.

After calling and adding an additional person to our party the day before, when we arrived no one was aware of the change and seemed dumb founded in accommodating us in doing so. It was an awkward situation. There were many open and open free tables so I do not understand why this would have been a problem.

We read all the reviews about Keswick Hall and Fossett's and couldn't wait to visit. My wife and I came away very disappointed considering the price point. The portions were small, not hot and quite frankly just OK. Service was almost nonexistent, we had to flag down the wait staff a couple of times.

The price you pay for a meal should reflect some level of service. Very disappointed.

My wife and I came to Fossett's at Keswick Estate for our anniversary and had an absolutely perfect evening. The food was terrific, the wait staff was attentive without being overbearing, the view over the newly re-designed golf course was gorgeous, and all of our questions about the menu were nicely answered. We cannot wait to return.

We hadn't dined at Fossetts for quite a while after a couple of unfortunate experiences. I am pleased to report that it is much improved in terms of food quality and service. We are hoping that this is a sign that it will return to the great restaurant that it has been in the past. We will definitely return!

We've been to Fosset's on several occasions through the years, for dinner as well as breakfast. We've been more pleased in the past. We had breakfast and dinner there 25-27 August; we were guests at Keswick Hall. The host and hostesses came across as robotic and the servers as amateurish an/or poorly trained. We had the same experience with the server at the pool. I was really surprised, we had not experienced this in the past. Dinner was ok at best, breakfast was better than dinner; although the service was better at dinner than breakfast.

I was actually in The Villa Crawford for lunch and very disappointed to learn that Mario was gone as well as the lunch buffet. I hope you find a replacement soon! Since it's summer I was happy with the salad selections. Thanks!

BIG Disappointment! We have stayed at Keswick Hall and eaten at their restaurants several times over the past 20 years and we have never experienced as poor a showing as their 2017 Father's Day brunch. We made our reservation online where there was no mention that the meal was to be a buffet -- not the regular Sunday brunch menu. The Keswick staffer who called to confirm our reservation Saturday evening also did not mention the change to buffet. But the spread looked good so we waited (and waited and waited until we asked the hostess/manager for assistance) for our drink order to be taken before approaching the buffet. Although the ($58/pp) spread had ribs and unshucked corn on the cob (really!) there were no traditional egg options -- even at 11:30am! Then they ran out of cups and served coffee and tea in to-go cups -- with no spoons provided to stir in the cream and sugar!
Oh well, at least the desserts were good!

We last dined here 7 years ago. The food was great but the service was lacking and below what we would expect at a first rate restaurant. That had changed from last time.
The other aspect that was disappointing, was that not everyone was appropriately dressed for dinner.
T-shirt and sandals does not seem right for dinner attire.
