Wow. This was the worst restaurant experience I have had in long long time. I will start with the positive. Iris the hostess was the best part followed by the bartender who was nice and super efficient without any support. A restaurant manager should have been behind the bar to pour a beer, clear a plate or wash some bar glasses to help him out while we sat at the bar because it was very busy. Once we were seated, our server greeted us and I asked what he would recommend and he did not respond to my question. We ordered 5 food items between the bar and the restaurant and 4 out of 5 were fails. Ricotta with peaches was neither sweet nor savory and lacked flavor. The tomato basil soup was the best. It was rich and flavorful. My linguini and clams had no flavor. It lacked garlic, acid, salt and pepper. It tasted like pasta and water. I sent it back for the lobster pasta and when the server asked if it was better I let him know the lobster was overcooked, tough and the worst lobster I had in my life. I was hungry and did not want to send back a second dish so I ate it. My wife had the goat cheese and beet salad and did not like it or eat it and he cleared it without asking if she liked it or noticed she did not eat it. When we were finished I asked the server if he told the chef he overcooked the lobster and it was the worst I ever had and he said he did. Not sure who is managing the restaurant on a Tuesday night but this was a complete fail and we will not be back. I should not have to request a manager to share how bad everything was if I explained that to the server and he failed to relay the information. We will not be back and would not recommend it. Plenty of competition in the area that would love to have more business.

Food was ok- but definitely would go back for the ambiance. Great vibe, really good drinks and great service. The food was ok- but didn’t order anything that I would be ordering again or anything that I thought tasted amazing- just ok. But still really fun night out!

We enjoyed a wonderful anniversary dinner at Forno. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the portion was fantastic.
