Forno Kitchen and Bar
Perfect! Great service, great food! Amazing drinks!!
Chose Forno based on OpenTable rating. It lived up to rating. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Certainly will return. Recommended to friends looking for a High St. Option that is casual and affordable
Great happy hour prices for a high quality meal.
Great place to meet friends.
Quarterly get together with college friends. It was my turn to pick. My friend had the salmon. He’s a foodie and normally brags when his food is delicious. It was ‘just okay’ he stated the root veggies did not compliment the fish. The tuna tacos was great as well as the tomato bisque and shrimp apoetitizer (and almonds). What I did not like was the fact that as we were finishing our meal and talking, we were told that our table reservation was over and there was no where else to go unless we decided to stand at the bar. I wish I had the bartenders name but when he looked up and greeted us, the customer service was not there and I felt like an inconvenience to him. I can describe him and what time it was. It was on the side of the bar closest to the hostesses and he worked the left side of the bar if you are coming in the main entrance. He was the shortest one on the left side with glasses. The time was right around 9pm and we ordered two Basil Hayden’s and a coffee. Should be easy to figure out. I would like for his customer service skills ( definitely a lack there of) to be addressed in addition to the boot we were given before we were ready to leave our reserved table. It totally took away from what was a great night.
I have been here several times and this one was good but not my fav. Server was slow to get to our table when we first arrived. He did pick it up during service but a little slow to start. Food was good.
My girls & 1 were sat in the back of the restaurant with a party that was obnoxiously loud. Our waitress was not active in checking on us & i sat within the aisle so every time someone walked by my seat was bumped, yes on accident but still annoying. I go to Forno every other week & this past weekend was very unpleasant. If my friends would not have been there to make it enjoyable i would have left early.
The breakfast pizza was phenomenal! Unfortunately the bloody mary was the worst I've ever had! Still a fantastic brunch over all!
Happy hour pricing is amazing
Service was great
Forno has the best happy hour ! Half off cocktails and pizza? Yes please! The Chicken Alfredo pizza is the best thing I’ve ever had in my life.
Always great food and service at Forno. One of our favorite places, especially for Happy Hour!
This was a close one. It would have been a negative review, had the manager Patrick not rescued the day. We were celebrating our daughter's 21st birthday and made a reservation weeks in advance. When we arrived our party had moved down from 5 to 4 and the hostess tried to sit us in the bar area. The bar area is nice, but not the same as the restaurant side, ambiance wise. When we addressed it with the hostess she said, well we are really busy and there is nothing we can do? I said really, isn't that why we made a reservation? She still said no. Well my daughter wasn't having it, her birthday, her rules. Patrick the manager understood and found us a table in the main dining area. Much cooler ambiance. Our server Hannah, was FANTASTIC. Very attentive and helpful in ordering. Get the ricotta balls and the olive bruschetta! The spiked strawberries are amazing too. Our steak was overcooked, and they fixed it immediately. I would highly recommend at a great value for the food quality. Just don't let the hostess put baby in a corner.
Friends in town!
Came for brunch on a recommendation! Did not disappoint! Love the ambiance, decor, food and spirits!
Slow service and issues with orders
Excellent service. Delicious food.
Missed our reservation by a few minutes but the bartenders took care of us, had more fun there anyways!! :)
Italian salad was amazing as well as the pasta Forno!
This is the second time in two weeks we have come here. Food is good but both times service was just ok. The first time was better. Today the service was horrible. I still tipped 20% because it was busy but not sure we will b back. Which is a shame, because the food is good
I would recommend Forno to my friends and plan to come back for more mimosas, but I’m very disappointed in the food. Me and 5 of my girlfriends came there for brunch this past Sunday, it was their first time being there and maybe my 5th or 6th time. One of my friends had to send her food back because it was cold and 2 other friends had to send their scrambled eggs back because they were “wet” and not cooked and there was hair in the food. I felt bad that they had so many issues with a place I highly recommended. Not sure if I’ll be able to convince them to go back but I hope the chefs do better with the food next time.
We were celebrating a birthday and the staff was very accommodating to my son’s food allergies, which can be a challenge. Everything was perfect and the food was great.
Food was delicious, I got the chicken and risotto, highly recommend it. The service was not great. Our server seemed very distracted and not very attentive.
Had a great time celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday. Waitress, manager - all staff were great! Thank you.
Server was very helpful. Reminded us of happy hour specials as we were seated ahead of our 6:00 reservation.
Food was very good.
Food was fresh and authentic! Service was prompt and friendly! Ambiance and location was perfect!
Forno always does it right. That's why it's a family favorite. We go every time my mom is in town. I love it.
Great food. Great service Veronica was outstanding serving 6 people all talking at the same time with all different demands. She was excellent. Only problem was front of the house. Made reservation on Open Table 3 weeks ago and requested a specific table. Went in twice and verified that we had that table. When we arrived 5 minutes before our reservation our table had been occupied and we were told by Amy that she gave our table away. We eat in this restaurant at least once a week.
This is not good management.
The experience was great minus the obnoxious 40 year old men whistling and hooting and hollering at the bar. That took away from the experience overall, and was quite disruptive as they were bumping into my chair and blocking the paths of the waitstaff.
The food was great as always.
Great food and service
Visiting sister & best friend. Wonderful evening, though we requested to sit on the patio and the girls at the hostess stand were not the most customer service focused.
The food was delicious. We had the ricotta appetizer and Shrimp pizza. However the cocktails were just ew. Glad we were there for Happy Hour. We'll be back for the food but stick to wine and beer.
Forno has the best pizza I've ever had in my life! I go once a week just for the pizza, the cheap drinks, view and amazing service is always a plus!
Food was delicious as always! Our server was a bit lack luster compared to what I experience normally at Forno.
I didn’t enjoy the chicken and waffles brunch item at all. The waffles were way too sweet like cotton candy and the chicken cutlet came drenched in syrup. I told my waiter and he didn’t even offer to make it right. Service could be improved in that regard, too. I would return and try dinner but I was greatly underwhelmed with my brunch experience.
Great Happy Hour prices! The kiwi mule is a must try. As is the roasted garlic shrimp and warm ricotta.
It was my boyfriends birthday and i took him and his family there for lunch! A perfect way to celebrate :)
Good food and definitely a busy spot for brunch, but it speaks to the quality of the food. I wouldn't order the breakfast pizza again as I'm not a huge fan of brussel sprouts but overall the drinks and food were good.
Nice place, the food was great and the service was awesome.
Happy hour was amazing. Didn't have to worry about money as much. It was my birthday and our server was lovely and gave us 6 strawberry shots!
