Service was fantastic. Had to sit on patio and would have preferred inside. Food was OK.
Delicious food. Tough eating out in the the enclosed patio during a heavy rainstorm. The rain water was dripping on some of the people in our party and on our table. It was cold at first, but had to ask our waiter at least four times to turn on the space heater. We also had to ask him for bread at least three times. Otherwise, the food was delicious and I would recommend it.
Our meal was amazing. We had a delightful evening. The steak and sauce was perfect. We had enough for two people. Great time. Waitress was sweet.
Stevenn was our server he was great and personable He told us everything we needed to know
Good ideas with menu choices but poor execution. For example the octopus small plate was 10% octopus and 90% potatoes , the shrimp plate was 4 shrimp and what appeared to be a whole can of white beans. The pumpkin bisque, however, was delicious
Great Happy Hour at the bar! Fantastic drink specials, amazing Brussels Sprouts pizza. A perfect evening with an awesome crew, including the manager, chef, and bartenders. Our new favorite place!
Fornos is a very nice restaurant. It can get a little noisy. Sorry to say Every dish I’ve had was way over salted! Especially for people with health issues.
I would recommend Fornos to people who don’t mind lots of salt.
Excellent service and food.
Loved the insalata Primavera and salmon special. Pesto gnocchi was amazing (a little too garlic for the kids but perfect for me!). They accommodated my husbands food allergies (gluten, corn and soy) easily! Would i’ve if they had a place rice or quinoa pasta for him but he loved the special.
Seated at a high-top in the bar area -- and told we couldn't have a table elsewhere even though we had a reservation -- it was simply too loud. Like, painfully loud.
We found Forno Bistro through TripAdvisor so we thought we'd give it a try. Because we had reservations we were seated promptly in what must ordinarily be an outdoor space that was reconfigured because of COVID. The staff were not wearing masks. The best part of this experience was the food, beginning with a delicious antipasto, continuing with a penne pasta dish and eggplant involtini, washed down with a Montepulciano from their extensive wine list, and finished with espresso and gelato. Service was enthusiastic but slammed because of how busy it was on a Friday night.
It was our first experience there. We ate outside which was less noisy. They were very accommodating and service was excellent based on the fact that the place was mobbed.
Great food and great drinks. One of our favorites.
Tables crowded together. Took in too many customers for the amount of wait staff. Had to go the bar and get our own cocktails after the waiter continued to fail to bring or drink order. Pasta was very under cooked. Pear Brie and arugula pizza had only one slice of pear and entirely too much Brie and was under dressed with balsamic glaze. Over priced considering the quality of the food and the service we received
Went for a business meal because we were only 2 people the waiter only spent most of his time with larger parties and couldn’t speak fast enough to us to get back to them. It like he didn’t want our tip because he knew he was making more money there. It took him 15min for him to take our order. He spoke like a downstater being that he spoke so quickly. The wine he recommended was not a good recommendation and the chicken dish was over cooked. I would try it again but the service was subpar. Also the hostess cleaned a table with only a napkin and no disinfectant, it was quite disgusting.
Great food and excellent service from Steven
Good was okay. Understaffed I would say. Not really sure. We had to sit between two single tables within 4 feet distance.
Returned to the area after 6 years. It’s still an awsome place to eat!
Great menu and the food was excellent. Our waiter, Justin, was first class!
Steak was over cooked. Food was bland overall. Expected much better.
Food was Luke warm at best. Our waiter forgot our appetizer. Bread never came to the table. Grated cheese was not offered. We asked the waiter at the next table to grate cheese over our plate.
Our waiter seemed to be missing.
On a positive note, your bartenders are spot on and very attentive.
We visited Forno Bistro for the first time in years, primarily due to COVID-19. We were excited about the new menu and the food did not disappoint! From our appetizers to dinner, everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. Only complaint was the the bread was a bit stale.
The service left much to be desired. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary but this was never acknowledged, even though it was noted in our reservation. Our waitress never introduced herself and forgot items when added extra (beer, grating cheese). We understand the shortages in staff but these went beyond staffing issues.
Seating was outside which added to the noise level. The music was more for a club than a fine dining experience.
Good food, lots of choices, and a friendly staff. Great outdoor dining.
The food and service is always very good. Our waiter Steve is alway very accommodating and helpful
Our waiter was amazing and very attentive. He checked in but was not intrusive. The atmosphere out on the patio was lovely. The food was absolutely delicious. It was an enjoyable night out and we didn’t feel rushed. We will definitely return.
Celebrated our grandson’s 7th birthday, as usual the food was exceptional. The entire staff is friendly, accommodating, and professional, and made him feel very special. Thanks to all (especially Jess). Highly recommend Forno’s for any occasion!
The food and service were excellent. Highly recommend!
Excellent service and food. The noise level was bit high. I think there was some kind of party going on. Great value
We greatly enjoyed our meal at Forno Bistro. Our server Ryan could not have been nicer. The wine list is well chosen including the by the glass selection. I had a delicious glass of Marchesi di Barolo Barbera for a reasonable $13. Our meal was delicious, starting with the bread which was quite delish, served warm with olive oil. My entree of salmon with heirloom tomatoes, pesto, green beans and small roasted potatoes was quite good. My dinner-mate enjoyed her plate of pasta with chicken very much. I plan to dine here again next time I am in Saratoga!
It was a very crowded restaurant and we were seated in an outside setting. Asked for an indoor table on the reservation, but it was so crowded that we didn't want to wait for an indoor table. The food was good and our waiter Stevenn was excellent. I indicated on my reservation that it was our anniversary and a card that said "celebrate" was placed on our table but no one acknowledged it or said anything. Very poor customer service on that. Will think about not returning to this.
Excellent vegan options.
Good covered porch space with good choices on menu. . Food is ok. Disappointing. Burrata appetizer was tasty but had mashed burrata which took away from the soft center idea. Eggplant was full of seeds and cheese cold and not melted on top. Seafood pasta special ok. Service was good, not rushed.
great service and food! loved the side patio
No follow up on the meal or service. Had to ask for drinks & other things.
Wonderful evening with some girlfriends, great food and tasty drinks 🍸
Ambiance and service were as good as the food. Five stars this visit from is.
Very loud especially inside. Pasta toscano andsalmon excellent potatoes and green beans hard. Waiter gave us a cannoli to make up for it
We had a 7:00 reservation but got there a bit earlier but because it was so busy we had to wait for our time but instead we opted to sit at the bar and eat there! Fried calamari appetizer, pasta with eggplant and sausage, and mushroom sausage pizza all were outstanding with a glass of the house cabernet. Kudos to Luke the bartender, food server and all around great person who was non stop! We'll be back.
Fabulous evening! Great food , wine
And amazing waiter
