Food was overpriced for the quality. Portion sizes were very small as well.

Loved the outdoor ambience and setup. The food and service were very good.

We had to wait thirty minutes for our table which was a bit annoying but our meal and server were fabulous. He sent a few extras to acknowledge our daughter’s birthday and the fact we waited for our table. We haven’t done much dining during Covid especially in the winter but Formento’s was top notch and I highly recommend! Thank you!

Felt very safe with the Covid protocols in place - temp taken at the door, tables spread out, masks being worn, hand sanitizer at each table.

The server was phenomenal handling dietary restrictions (GF/DF), including substituting olives to start in place of the typical bread which was very thoughtful.

They also included a glass of champagne at the end of our dinner for a birthday we were celebrating.

We were both pleasantly surprised at the portion sizes. I actually thought it was perfectly priced for as much food as we received. That said, I’m not mad that we ordered far too much considering everything was delicious.

Thank you Formento’s team for making a birthday in a pandemic suck a little bit less and being so accommodating at every turn! We can’t wait to join you again.

We were very rushed and told numerous times about our time limit which we were very aware of. The staff kept trying to cleanup our table the middle of us taking bites of our food so we had to put our masks on while we were eating because they were constantly at our table. Then the staff made a comment that they could cork our bottle do we could take it to go. We still had plenty of time to have another drink and finish our wine. This made for an unpleasant dining experience with friends who rarely get to see each other.

Dinner outside in the tent area was great. Excellent staff and was just warm enough to not feel cold during the meal despite mid 30’s temp outside.

It was a cold night but the heaters and tent made us feel cozy. The service was amazing and food was on point.

Overall good; food and wine are great. Service was slow though; no one came to take orders 30 mins after being seated.

Excellent food and service

We only went out for drinks and appetizers. Although they were both very good. The drinks were strong. Calamari was great. The heaters are set up well. Only issue was they allow dogs!?!? So the dog at the table across from us kept barking . .

Despite all of the nonsense this and other restaurants have to endure from misguided public health policy, the service never suffered. We were happy to be able to do our part to support our restaurants.

We came for date night and sat in their outdoor tent. We felt very safe and perfectly comfortable! The service was wonderful, though it was a little loud. We had the kale salad and cauliflower to start. The cauliflower was recommended by our server and it had a good range of flavors, but wasn't as crispy as I was hoping. I got the bucatini and my fiance got the risotto. My bucatini was cold and the noodles stuck together. I also wish the pieces of bacon were smaller and the egg yolk was mixed in (though it did look beautiful this way!). The risotto was incredible! Nice and spicy and the seafood was delicious! The piece of carrot cake we had for dessert was underwhelming. I would love to come back another time and try some other items on the menu!

2nd day in a row. Was there lastnight our waiter Abel was fantastic! Food,drinks and dinner. Round two today. Abel being our waiter again. Service excellent! Thank you.

Very satisfying. Stuff took precautions according to the state health requirements. Food was amazing. Outdoor seating area was heated and pleasant for November.

The wait staff were so attentive! We had an accidental spill and they provided another drink, curtesy of Formento’s. The food was beyond delicious. I found myself so stuffed by the end of the night. I will definitely return.

Great outdoor patio experience

We wanted to help support local restaurants during this pandemic, and stopped in for dinner on one of the last nights of milder weather. We sat outside in a nice tent full of heaters. We were happy to find gluten-free options on the menu, including an excellent homemade GF pasta! Which is often hard to find. All of the food we tried including the Gem lettuce salad, Cacio de Pepe & pork neck gravy pastas, plus the chicken Parmesan was very, very delicious! One of our best meals this year. Service was friendly and easy. How to be back to try rest of menu, and hopefully be able to sit inside again.

Great food and wine. The place in general was very cute but they did not have much heat in regards to the outdoor seating with the pandemic but overall nice experience.

We wanted to take advantage of outdoor dining one more time before the weather turns. I was impressed with the social distancing measures put in place and that they were taking temperatures of everyone that came through. We ordered the ricotta and burrata starters and then shared the chicken Parmesan (and still had left overs!) everything was delicious.

My wife and I we had an amazing time celebrating our 20th anniversary of marriage! The service and food was outstanding and delicious. Great Italian food!

This is one our favorite restaurants in the city. If you go I recommend getting the bucatini carbonara. It is one of the best I have every had. The Hemingway Margarita is fantastic and a must have.

Every element of our evening was great...from reception to the meal and dessert service. Comfortable environment with good spacing of tables, extra attention to Covid preparation and attentive service from the team. Can't wait to go back.

Formento's did a great job making this a safe place to dine during difficult Covid times. My family felt very secure eating an amazing dinner indoors!

The server offered a comparable bottle of wine but it was more than double the cost and I felt taken advantage of

Pretty basic Italian place. Extensive wine list. Nice looking cocktail list but tried both th e Porch-Ade and a Moscow Mule, and there were not good. The wrong balance of ingredients to have much of a flavor other than too sweet. The Burrata tasted store bought, not fresh and whippy like a fresh burrata typically is. The meatballs were good, but the mains we ordered, the Tortelloni and the Orecchiette were just okay. Decent portions but lacked much complexity in the flavor. The pumpkin pie was a joke and again, tasted store bought and not fresh. It's definitely not worth the prices.
