Forget About It Supper Club Ratings and Reviews
This was a family dinner and we all had the 3 course dinner with all different options. Not a long menu but we all tried different mains. Food was well prepared and presented and all dinners tasted great. Not a lot of quantity though. Otherwise, everything else was excellent. Service was exceptional.
Service was friendly. 25 fixed price dinner was a good value. They didn't take the tails off the shrimp in my rissoto and a friends spaghetti and mussels was served as a pile of spaghetti plopped on top of mussels still in there shell. Desserts were uninspired. If you want a throw back to late 60s, eatly 70s then it was okay.
We had a wonderful experience at your restaurant! The service was quick and friendly.. the menu was excellent too. We took advantage of the preset menu for 25 dollars. Our chicken dinner was yummy and my tomato salad was cold and fresh and delicious. Dessert choices were great too. I had the lemon cake and my husband had the Tiramisu.. both yummy. The ambiance was relaxing and beautiful with the Christmas tree, even down to the bathrooms which are very clean. Thanks for the positive dining experience. We will be back! It's a perfect spot pre-theatre..and symphony!
This restaurant is an excellent choice for an evening get together or dinner prior to going to the theatre. The service is quick and attentive. The salads and pastas are expertly prepared. This King Street West business deserves more business than the small number of diners that there on my early evening prior to attending theatre. I definitely recommend the restaurant for service and value.
Looking for an early dinner we found this place on the internet and decided to give it a try. We started with the calamari. It was perfectly cooked and the sauce was flavorful but not heavy. I went with the veal scallopini and it was delicious. For dessert, I had the tiramisu and it was fantastic, light and not too sweet. The service was also top notch, he knew exactly when to step in and we never felt rushed. If you like authentic Italian with great service at a fair price, you need to give this place a try.
This restaurant is amazing. First of all, the decore is gorgeous. Beautiful restaurant. The service is top notch. The servers are on the ball. And the food is so delicious with a very nice variety to suit all taste buds and needs. Prices are pretty good too. You really cannot go wrong with this place. I highly recommend it!
This is my second visit, and on both occasions the restaurant was rather empty. This is surprising for a Saturday night on King Street. During this visit, I had a caesar salad and the gnocchi. Both were good, although I could have eaten a larger portion of salad. As this is one of the less expensive restaurants in the area, I would recommend it.
Went back here because we had a good experience during TIFF in years prior. The food was ok. The service was ok but the ambiance was terrible. We were practically the only people there and it was during TIFF!! Thank goodness we sat outside and could people watch. Busiest time of the year for King St! As they say, you don't pick your restaurant by the empty tables.
We walked to our 9:30pm show and passed busy spot after busy spot. Wow. Too bad. Maybe it was the guy in the rumpled jacket with the menu out front. Maybe they should set the tables on the patio so it looks remotely inviting. I don't know. But if I was passing by looking for a spot to eat, I'd walk right by too.
The food was just ok. We ordered 4 entrees and only the risotto was really good. The potato soup we ordered seems to be only half full, looks like they ran out and just gave us what's remaining. Feels like the restaurant is catered to tourists where they don't expect them to return again.
The food was excellent....genuine, high-quality, well-prepared, and slight alternations to the standard prep were implemented with good cheer! What an arrabiata! :-) Service was fast, attentive, and friendly, and where recommendations were requested, they were carefully considered, and turned out to be spot-on.
Pretty sure this place is only popular with the pre-theatre crowd and tourists. We chose the restaurant for a friends' get-together as we all like Italian food and enjoy trying new places. It was empty for our 8pm reservation - we were literally the only table on a Friday night! Friendly and polite service, decent menu, but the food was way too salty. We had different meals and all complained about the salt. I'm sure it's a different atmosphere, and obviously convenient, before the theatre.
