Pleasantly surprised, we wanted to try it many times but fircsone reason never made it, so we finally tried it and we definitely will be back. My fish and risotto was delicious, my salad was very fresh.
Great wine list and by the glass.
Our waitress was friendly and professional.
The food was fabulous, just different enough. We went for brunch on Sunday while in the area for a wedding. Mimosa's were ok, not spectacular. Waiter wasn't paying attention to orders. Those who ordered the make your own bloody mary got regular ones.
If you haven't tried the chicken and waffles on the Sunday Brunch, you must. We also had one of the omelets this time and it was great. We have been there before and tried options off the regular menu and never have we had a bad meal. Highly recommend.
Celebrated a friend's birthday here and was pleasantly surprised. I had fish over risotto, and it was absolutely fabulous. The service was outstanding and I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner.
A great place for a party of seven to enjoy a birthday dinner.
Must admit was disappointed with the quality of the food. Steaks n seafood were very overlooked n too pricey. Used to love it. Won't be returning anytime soon
Great place to have a good time! Food was great and the service was even better!
One of our favorite Lakeway resturants because of the atmosphere and good food. Ribs are our favorite!
The Father's Day Brunch Buffet was excellent! A great variety of food and plenty of it! Wish they had this every weekend and not just for Mother's Day and Father's Day.
My wife and I have eaten at Fore maybe twelve times in the last two years. It is a place where the food doesn't let you down. The atmosphere is casual to slightly dressed. The bar is great also if you want a neighborhood local bar. It is better known for the food but there is a lot of action at the bar at times too.
I realize that it was Mother's Day Brunch, a very busy time, but the room that we were seated in was dark and lack any personality. This room was clearly an overflow room. But, for $30 per person, i would expect something nicer. The regular dining room was bright and lively.
The food was good, not great. My mother ordered a champagne cocktail and the waiter had to ask her what the ingredients were...
Should have been able to get a coffee refill for $4 a cup. Server could have been more attentive.
We were a party of 8 with no young children. Yet we were seated in the "back room" that was rather chilly and dark. Our table was against the wall in a corner which required four in our party to slide in and out every time one of them wanted to go to the buffet. Our server was friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed the variety and quality of the food served. Will definitely come back but won't agree to the same room / seating arrangement.
We were there late on a slower night and the staff was very attentive and the food was excellent. We both had the filet and asparagus and were very pleased! We will be back!
Truly excellent and I have eaten at two star Michelin restaurants where I have given 5 Stars. Getting 4 stars means great.
Price performance hard to beat and a very well priced wine list with good options.
I went there craving the tuna tartare but they dont serve that for lunch, only dinner. But the staff is so rad, they made it anyways and it was awesome. I recommend this appetizer. Also, props to management for their professionalism.
The Blue Cheese were awesome! We had one issue that was resolved quickly. Overall a great experience!
Experience was good, place is nice. We liked the indoor/outdoor feel. Although I had an item added to my food that was brought out to the table after I had already eaten half of my meal. It should have been added or plated prior to me receiving my meal. That was the only issue.
My husband and I came for an early Valentine's dinner. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, and we never felt rushed. Our server was prompt, but not intrusive. The food was wonderful! I had the lobster seafood risotto, and my husband had a rib-eye. Everything was tasty and presented very well. Overall, a great meal and we will be back.
Not many restaurants are open past 8 in our area, being open till 10pm was great bonus! The food was AMAZING! You have to try the Loaded Truffle Fries! The Banana Fosters was perfection. Our server was very attentive, we never had to ask for anything.
Even though it was expensive for us, the food was well worth it. We will be coming back soon.
The NYE suggested menu was awesome! Can't believe we have such a fantastic chef in our Lakeway area!
We were at a golf school and were looking for a place to eat that was casual with a diverse menu. This restaurant was perfect. The burgers were good, and Wednesfay was steak note. Delicious and a good price of $20 for a 12 oz. ribeye or NY strip, vegetables and delicious mashed potatoes.
Nice, small, neighborhood spot we were told to try. Food is pretty good, but they need to NOT agree to one customers request and make others HOT. They opened the large garage type door for someone and then it was hot and humid in the entire restaurant. This open door should be reserved for COOL NIGHTS only
Our waiter Paul was new and took care of us very well. Thanks Paul! I ordered the Texas Cheese Steak. Fat and gristle needed to be removed. Otherwise it would make a great sandwich.
Friend ordered the burger which is always good!
My wife and I dined here recently after passing it by many times. The name lends itself to a sports bar but that is not what this place is. Yes, there are some tvs however, the food and service were both top notch, very happy to have tried this place, it's now a new local favorite!
The waitress that we had was one the most pleasant that we have ever had. Her name was Hyatt I believe.
We went to Fore to have brunch. Aside from our kids loving the pancakes, our eggs were over cooked and my "black beans" were red beans.
There was a singer/guitar player who was really talented and the ambience is very hip with an open wall to outside. But for the price I wouldn't go back to eat ... only to have wine!
My wife and I ate here for lunch. We had calamari and sliced steak chimichurri. Both were bland and the red sauce for the calamari was overly sweet. We won't be back.
Service was EXTREMELY slow but food was good as always. Have been here several times and the service is usally pretty slow, but this time was exceptionall slow.
We went for Mother's Day brunch and it was delicious. Everyone was happy. Would go again to try the regular menu.
Great burger! Amanda our server and bartender was really great! Served us well and a delight to chat with!
We went to the Easter brunch. The staff was quite unprofessional. I'm not sure if they brought in inexperienced people just for the day because it was so busy or whether that was the regular staff. The food was pretty good, but not as good as I would've thought considering the price. In general, it had the feel of an amateurish establishment. Last Easter we ate at 11 plates in Westlake, and it was fabulous. We were expecting something similar but were disappointed.
We went to Fore for Easter Brunch with our 12 yr old daughter who is a very particular eater and she found plenty of choices to select from. The food was great and the service even better! A soloist on acoustic guitar was playing and her music was very good and she played at a perfect pitch for the occasion. We happened to observe an unfortunate accident where a server's tray was knocked over. The staff was right on the spot and immediately had the mess cleaned up and they did it with absolute quiet efficiency. Within a couple of minutes you'd never know that anything had happened. The entire dining experience was second to none! We've dined at Fore in the past for both lunch and dinner and they are always at the top of their game. Highly recommended!
Fore had something for everyone - including the picky teenagers in our family. The guest singer was so good we wanted to hang out all afternoon. Great place for brunch, and reasonably priced! Will defintely be coming back.
Overall, the meal and experience were excellent. The food was very good although the cheese cake dessert was not quite as good as the rest of the food. The service was also very good. The only negative happened when a truck that was parked right in front of the window that were facing turned on its lights which was a bit startling.
Brought my wife for dinner during our honeymoon. We both enjoyed the atmosphere and the food immensely
This was our first time to Fore. Our table was ready on our arrival and we were seated immediately. The restaurant was not crowded.
There was live music provided and was perfect for the evening.
Wait staff was helpful and not in the way at all.
Would recommend Fore.
We chose to experience Fore based upon the recommendations of friends, and were impressed by the decor and ambiance, and also the menu. While the food was tasty, unfortunately our server raced our courses to the table, and we were served our entrees after taking about four bites of the shared appetizers. Needless to say, the appetizers got cold as a result, and the main courses were eaten in haste...rather than to be enjoyed. Most disappointing that no accommodation was offered to rectify the problem...it was just presented as "oops." Needless to say, with a plethora of alternative dining choices in the area, we won't be back.
The poor service affected my dining experience negatively. With every mistake, the server blamed another team member; the bartender the kitchen staff. The Bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer came out after the entrées. The heavy sauce on this dish, denied the flavor of the shrimp and bacon. The menu boasted cappuccino but the restaurant no longer serves them. The Southwest Cesar with steak was overdressed, however the medium/rare steak was delicious. I suppose I would try it again.
I had the surf and turf (shrimp instead of lobster). This was a very good dish -- mainly due to the sauce. My wife had the Red Fish, which she commented that she would not order again.
