   Everything was perfect, as always! From the minute we arrived to the moment we left! The service and food were excellent! Probably my favorite restaurant in Portland.

   The ambiance and the food were amazing. The service could have been better, but I recognize they were slammed on a Saturday night. We had a reservation and still had to wait 25min for our table, however, there is a very nice full service bar/lounge area to wait so it wasn’t a deal breaker. The food was incredible and by far one of the best meals we’ve had in a while. Will definitely be back.

   First visit, front of house, service and attention to detail excellent Food was very good, selection was good Prices on par with quality of food Noise level very high

   Outstanding experience - great food, great cocktails, great service, nice atmosphere - and all for around the same price as you would pay fat a lot of places in Southern Maine which are nowhere near as good

   Fore Street is the only restaurant in Portland that we have on repeat every time we visit. It’s always an overall pleasure. Great food and service, consistent and excellent.

   Excellent food and service in a rustic atmosphere. We were at a table for two that was VERY tightly placed between two other tables to the point where it was challenging to get in and out of the chairs without hitting the next patron's chair.

   First time in Portland and this was our favorite restaurant. The Wood Grilled Moulard Foie Gras and Turnspit Roasted Dry Rubbed Pork Loin were amazing and the Turnspit Roasted Marinated Half Chicken was the best chicken I’ve ever had. Our server was really attentive, friendly, and provided great recommendations.

    Been coming to Fore Street off and on for 12 years. Predominantly had terrific meals but not always. Tonight though was a reminder of just how good they can be. Excellent food, knowledgeable and helpful staff and as always a lovely ambience. Quibble? The mussels were merely very good, broth was a little thin, but everything else was superb and then some. The hen of the woods mushrooms paired with the scallops were amazing, the steak was perfect and the sides were super tasty and fresh and were fabulous with the slow cooked pork with risotto. That risotto explains why risotto has such a good reputation because it was perfection. Thank you
