Forcella is a restaurant that is committed to serving high-quality pizza and other signature Italian dishes. It has a diverse menu, ranging from brick oven pizzas and pastas to steaks and seafood. All dishes are made to order and use fresh, local and sustainable ingredients. Forcella has an extensive alcohol menu with domestic and imported beers and wine that will pair well with any dish.
Start with an appetizer like the arancini, crocchette, antipasto misto, burger sliders or the Burrat e Prosciutto. Guests have their choice of pizzas like the Porta Capuana made with burrata cheese and arugula, the Picante made with mozzarella, ricotta and confit tomatoes or the Calzone Fritto made with salami, ricotta and tomato. Finish your meal with a homemade dessert like the tiramisu or pannacotta. Forcella is good for families and both small and large groups.
Went there for dinner twice. Pizza is great but the ambiance is that of a bar, not a pizzeria, and it is too noisy for a nice dinner. It's an unlikely and unlike-able combination of good pizzeria and loud bar.
Delicious and great for bottomless brunch
This restaurant was one of a few we went to during our NY visit. We went our first night in the city. What a wonderful dining experience, fabulous food, attentive staff, and warm atmosphere.
We will go back when we visit NYC again!
Great food and service
Good Pizza, good service! Recommended!
Pizza was outstanding. Definitely didn't disappoint. Also loved the music they were playing. Think they stole my iTunes playlist
I ate a wonderful pizza at Forcella park avenue, the pizza is very similar to the real Neapolitan one! I found the place a little bit expensive. I didn't like the service because they literally rushed us and took off my plate while I was still eating my last slice of pizza! The pizza was very good so if you miss Neapolitan pizza I definitely will recommend Forcella park ave!
Pizza was decent size. Service was on point and friendly without being too much in your face. Would be good for any meal but in ebenign has dark lighting so could do for a romantic date.
We had lots of family visiting and needed a last minute reservation to accommodate 14 people on a Saturday night. We had drinks at the bar first, and the staff was flexible with when we needed to move to our table. The service once we got to the table was mediocre. They did not seem very attentive to drink refills and checking in to see how everything was. We also had an air conditioner blowing on us, and we asked that it be turned down. They didn't adjust.
Let's talk about the food. The pizza here is delicious. Everyone who had that was impressed. Everything else is just ok. We shared some apps - salads, fried calamari, risotto balls and antipasto platter - very underwhelming. Entrees are fine - but would highly recommend coming for very tasty pizza.
I've been here with large and small parties, lunch and dinner. The Delicious Sandwich and the Salmon sandwich are quite tasty. Pizza is done just the way I like it...perfect! Homemade pasta actually tastes like it is made on premises -- very fresh. Service is outstanding! I will be back.
